I've been here multiple times with my family and best hands down authentic taiwanese food I've had. We always go for their lunch special which you get to pick 3 items with a side of either rice or porridge for $14, only available from Mon-Friday. Definitely gets packed around their lunch time for their special. Made me nervous to go alone because I think all the workers speak chinese (and I dont) but I was able to point at what I wanted and they understood :') I would definitely recommend trying the "Eggplant with brown sauce" as one of your dishes, even if you dont like eggplants. This review is for yesterday's experience. Normally, the experience is okay, but not this time due to terrible customer service. We will not be coming back anymore at least for a long time. When dining in, porridge here has always been and is still free and you can get refills for free too. When I asked for to go boxes and a small container of porridge, the staff asked three times if I'm going to buy it which has never happened before and I thought it was so weird. To resolve this, I asked her to refill the pot of porridge which is standard for them to do. I really should've not given any tip as tip based on the service given. Neither of the female servers yesterday ever came by so no service was provided. It's a shame because I do like their food and normally service is not this bad. read more
