At first, I was a little hesitant to try this place because the pics on Yelp didn't look great but trust me once I went inside the restaurant and saw how clean it was and saw some pics for the menu on the wall. The chicken here would be a 5/5 if it were to have some crunch. The spice and tenderness of the chicken is not to be dismissed. I got the 6 piece tenders at the medium spice level, and the density and heat of the spice was literally perfect. I'm excited to try a higher level spice someday. Perhaps it's because I ordered the chicken online, but there was absolutely no crunch on them. Maybe some people prefer it that way, but in my opinion , it's one step away from perfection. TLDR: Terrible food that is WAY overpriced. Dave's Hot Chicken is ten times better. Really not sure why this place has positive reviews. Don't make our mistake: When trying to decide what to treat ourselves for a DoorDash dinner at home, someone suggested instead of our tried-and-true Dave's Hot Chicken, we try a different hot chicken spot. We regret it so bad that I was moved to write this review to help any other well-intended foodies from making our costly mistake. The food, at least on DoorDash, is outrageously expensive for what you get. The chicken tenders were more breading than actual chicken meat; our side order of cole slaw (which was $6!!) was TINY and tasted absolutely awful. Everyone took a taste and agreed it was better to just throw it away, no one wanted it. My boyfriend's chicken sandwich was equally nearly-all-breading-and-no-meat, and despite getting it at their highest spicy level, he complained it wasn't spicy at all. When I asked my friend how his chicken nuggets were, his reply was "They're just above terrible." To add insult to injury, we PAID for extra sauces and only got one container of their 24k sauce and one container of ranch. What comes next could be considered nit-picking, but when your entire food order costs a pretty penny and tastes horrible, it's hard to not be bothered by bad packaging practices: They combined parts of some people's orders with another person's separate menu item. For example, I ordered a single chicken tender and they put it in my boyfriend's chicken sandwich box. I can see how that's being less wasteful (fewer boxes?), but when we were distributing food, it was annoying to try and figure out whose food was what and which tender was mild, medium, or spicy (several of us ordered tenders at different spicy levels). While the DoorDash experience was definitely subpar, I don't believe us ordering at the store would have made us like this place any better. read more

The chicken is some of the most tender meat I've ever eaten in my life! The spice is wonderful and so well rounded and the sauce is absolutely to die for! Me and four of my friends starving and looking for a food place late at night and we come across Habib's Hot Chicken and we had our second doubts at first until we stepped into the building such a beautiful interior design and the smell of the place was good now such a strange name cant possibly be that good we all thought but are hopes where set high for it to be better then Raising canes or Dave's hot chicken and boy did it deliver we started off looking at the menu and coming up with a way to get a lot of food for a good price and we ended up on a 10 piece and a 6 piece for the tenders which comes with fries and coleslaw and now it was time to pick the Hot chicken tier there is Classic, Mild , Medium , Hot , Extra Hot , OMG me and my friends decided for hot to be on the 6 piece and 10 piece was mild , medium , extra hot , and 1 , omg and ONE IS ALL YOU NEED because you can just cut it up and enjoy it also came with texas crisp butter toast then we also got the Shosho's Loaded fries it was amazing to every last detail me and my friend's even fought over it and it costed 80.00$ in total so we each had to pay 16.00$ that's tax included now after we order the person taking the order was very kind and very patient waiting for us to figure it out and then we sat down and dined in for the best experience of our chicken filled lives the food was out faster then expected we ordered like 5 minutes ago all that food already out what excellent service we even was able to go up there and ask to change a side that came with the chicken after we already ordered and they changed it for us because me and my friends never liked coleslaw ever but there Coleslaw was amazing I never thought a place can make you like Coleslaw to this degree we demolished it instantly wish we had more would of changed the sides to Coleslaw thats how good it was going back tomorrow best chicken place ever!!!!! read more

The food was good, but it was really expensive, be careful if you come here because the combo is 13-15 bucks without the drink. The drink is 3 bucks more. And on the menu, it wasn't clear because I wanted to add a tender and the menu said it would be 3.75, but they charged me 6. The chicken was very bland and without the sauce i probably would have not ate it. I got medium spice but definitely did not have any spice to it.
