We made an advanced reservation online and that made getting a table on a night where there was a playoff game and a show at the theatre easy. We had a wide variety of dishes with the chicken fettuccine, steaks, and the salmon. All were the perfect portion size and were delicious. Tried this place for the first time and Loved there mini martinis flights. They were amazing and loved to try all of them. They do have a huge pitcher of long islands too. But it did lack some booze We ordered some food and enjoyed them. Chicken nachos were good but tasted little bland on flavor. Chicken and avocado rolls were delicious. There were other items on menu thats would be worth coming back. Kansas City burger was good and had a good BBQ touch. We also ordered fried chicken and the crust was amazing and good. I was out of town for work, so our large group of about 12 people came to Houlihan's for dinner one night. We were able to be seated together at a large table. The Resturant itself is pretty large and there is ample free parking next to the Resturant. Our server, Nadia did an AMAZING job throughout the whole dinner. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled salmon. The salad was fresh and they put a great sized portion of salmon on my salad. It was so good! Everyone else's good looked really good too. This place offers glorified microwaveable dinners. The "stuffed" chicken breast was anything but that. It was like they forgot to fill it so they quickly cut the chicken open and slabbed some on w a butter knife. The green beans looked and tasted as if they were microwaved the day before and the cooks just poured some melted butter over them. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone or come back. Great service, but the food is sub par. The Pesto Salmon was delicious but don't get the pineapple brown rice... as it is brown rice, with peppers and spinach ... NO PINEAPPLE WHATSOEVER... not even a hint of a pineapple taste. The server said that's just how it is and she never tasted pineapple either. Weird. The Spaghetti squash was also sub par. BAD when they out salmon on top with balsamic . Bad mix. Crab cakes are like crab cake BITES! Teeny tiny! My husband had to get another apatite after eating. I know summer Barbecue is almost over, but can I get a "hoot hoot" for the slow cooked baby back ribs at Houlihan's. The smoke flavor and meat melts in your mouth. Delicious. I speared the meat with the garlic green beans and enjoyed every last bit. Hat off to the chef. read more

A little disappointed I couldn't order a small order of the mushrooms at the table, nobody else in my party likes mushrooms so I skipped them. The wings are so good and crispy. The nachos were also good as well. Don't let the word chipotle scare you away from eating them. It is spicy. I would get the toppings on the side. The atmosphere was relaxing, it has some outdoor seating but them full up fast. The service was good as well. Very friendly and kind. Pleasantly surprised with this commercial spot. Many beers on tap and pretty up level tasting bar food. Great food options on kids menu, even steak. The gluten free pizza was well enjoyed and crispy. The waiters and waitresses really saved this place. The food was decent the chicken was a bit dry and the pineapple brown rice was mediocre. (I mean it shows in the photo). However, the mashed potatoes were amazing!! In all honesty I wouldn't come back for the food I would just come back for the kind staff. The fourth star is for our waiter. read more

Houlihan's is probably my favorite restaurant in Hershey. It's certainly my most visited! I've had lots of dishes here, so let me just highlight a few of my favorites: Yum Yum Burger: To me, this is basically the perfect execution of a cheeseburger. It had a TON of cheese and a great sauce. I order this one a lot. Chicken Wings: The buffalo sauce they have here is great - if I don't get wings, i still get the sauce on the side with my fries. I order the wings extra crispy and they always come out perfectly cooked. Adam & Eve: This is like an Apple lemonade with a cinnamon rim. It's unlike anything else and it's delicious. Black Cherry Mojito: This is the first drink listed on the menu and it's in that spot for a reason. This is my favorite Mojito anywhere. I do have one criticism, though. This Houlihan's is a private location owned by Hershey- because of this, they typically don't do the seasonal menu items that you may see on the corporate Houlihan's Instagram or Facebook. I wish they would since the specials always look so good and I'd visit even more often than I do currently. I wish they offered things like the Frenchie Burger or the purchasable Houlihan's tiki mugs that other locations have. read more

Masks are required upon entry until you are seated. Moriah was our server and she did a good job. Food wise, I had the Asian Chicken Chop Chip salad and it was delicious! The plate is presented with the chicken picture on one half and the salad with tortilla strips on the other side so you can combine at your own preference. read more

We'd never been to a Houlihan's before, but I'm a sucker for nachos and my fiancé is a sucker for a good burger so we thought we'd try them out. We'd called ahead, and we were seated right away in a booth. Beer menu is quite small, but did have a good variety including a tasty Oktoberfest nitro (which our waiter was so kind to let us try before ordering). I ordered the nachos (without meat and sour cream, and extra jalapeños) and they were very good! They looked a little small, but were actually quite filling (especially when paired with a few beers). The quality of the cheese was sooo good- which I something I rarely say about nachos. It tastes like a good genuine mix of cheeses instead of a pile of cheddar. My fiancé's burger was really good too! Our waiter (I believe his name was Dylan?) was super awesome and attentive. We'll keep this place in mind next time we're in the area! read more

On 18 of June, I stop by the restaurant. Table for 6, including an autistic. She had a small accident. Thank god we were sitting in the back not outside. Food was extremely underwhelming. Don't order the meatloaf it's definitely frozen the red wine mushroom sauce tasted more like microwaved lunch lady special sauce. My wife had the stuffed chicken breast which was not a okay on chicken cordon blue more like the sole of my shoe rolled up sloppily and tossed in the oven and over cooked. The service was also sub par I know it's not a five star establishment but have some pride in your work the hostesses all 3 of them seemed unhappy standing to greet you with their arms crossed the server we had filled up one water glass and left the other one empty dirty dishes remained on the table for a long period of time plus don't ask another team member for anything they may roll their eyes. The friendliest person was the manager who ran soup to the table with a smile on her face. read more

Wife and I have wanted to try this place for awhile. Got lucky we were able to come in on a weekday. Food and service were excellent. Fancy fried cheese was nice and crispy and deliciously seasoned. Wife had the 8oz filet and I had the Creole fried chicken. Her steak was cooked perfectly and beautifuly tender. My Creole fried chicken was absolutely delicious. Brownie batter cake was fresh made, fudge was very tasty and the ice cream served with it was awesome. Our waiter was extremely attentive which made the whole experience wonderful. And I said, I gotta use that one."―Paul Simon This Kansas-based national chain has been serving up modern and traditional American fare since the '70s. Houlihan's operates 84 restaurants in 18 different states, but none are out my way in Cali, so I was pretty unfamiliar with them. Ordinarily I'm not a chain kinda guy, but since we visited the Hershey Story (located right next door) on a Sunday―and this is a heavy church community―most other restaurants in the area were closed. So, with few options (read: none) we sashayed our purty lil' selves on in. The menu is a bit more progressive than I imagined and featured an actually impressive array of choices, but I knew to keep it simple. So I ordered the French Dip ($13) w/ side of garlic mashed potatoes. The sandwich itself was actually very not bad, as the bread was decent, and the beef was nice and tender. The au jus, while it had a good beefy flavor, was extremely salty and pickled my mouth pretty quick. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and had a good roasted garlic flavor, but they to were a bit heavy on the NaCl. Overall it was a fairly enjoyable meal and I was pleasantly surprised at Houlihan's. The rest of my party all seemed satisfied with their choices and we managed to feed a party of seven for under $80 (no booze). Not too shabby. read more

The food quality has dropped the last few times we've been here. The stuffed chicken use to always be a good choice but lately something seems different about the taste. Side dishes like garlic green beans or carrots when offered are not cooked enough. Loaded potatoe soup is excellent. They got rid of the chicken parm which was good. Service is always good. I came here around 5:30PM on a Friday night and i got a table right away even though the place already seemed packed. I would say the Happy Hour menu is pretty appealing! $8/ Long Island Pitcher, $7/ Martini Flight, $4 for Calamari and other appertizers, $6/ burger, $8 for nacho. So if you are looking for some good drinks and typical bar food at reasonable price but in a nice environment, then come here at their Happy Hour. The food is tasty and well-seasoned. Even though it was Happy Hour, food came out in shareable portion. The drinks are also good. They are strong enough to make you feel it, still they taste delicious. However, most of the drinks i ordered were a bit too sweet. Around 6:30 is when the place start to get very packed and that's when it gets very noisy and busy. Their regulat menu is alright. It has many different options so im sure everyone can find something they like. However, i do find their options are little bit predictable and boring. Prices are bit above average so i probably wouldn't have enjoy this place as much if i visit it at a regular time. Nonetheless, my experience dining here was great and i did enjoy it a lot. Nice place service was excellent. However the portion size was horrible. Got a burger(not a smash burger) but I would have been lucky if it was 2oz. The burger fit the bun which was of average size, but was barely 1/8" thick. The portion of fries was extremely skimpy. read more

We had a reservation for dinner with friends after a half-day at Hersheypark and were seated almost immediately, even with a line of people waiting. This place has a very diverse yet standard menu. Nothing really pops. Typical burgers/sandwiches/pastas. Very comparable to an Applebees/Green Turtle. You can tell it's backed by some serious money as the decor is expensive yet I think I could have ordered anything that was on the menu at a typical chain restaurant for less $$. read more

Visited on a Thursday afternoon around 4pm. The two stars for the food being decent, otherwise the rest of our visit wasn't great. Service was HORRIBLE - waitress "got busy" (these were her words) so she didnt check on us and when my friend ordered the brownie/ice cream it took over 20 minutes to come out and the ice cream was mostly melted. We couldn't believe our server actually bought this out looking like this. We sent it back, since after waiting so long we were ready to leave by this point. Another point to mention is that the bathroom was FILTHY and the water coming out of one of the faucets was barely a trickle. read more

I sat at the bar for happy hour yesterday and it was a great way to end a busy day. The bartenders, Jeremy and Justin were fantastic! Very attentive and friendly. The Oktoberfest pretzel and Ahi Tuna were delicious! Exactly what I wanted and for an unbelievable happy hour price! While enjoying my drinks and food, a lady sat at the bar across from me and was so loud and obnoxious. You could hear everything she was saying and it took away from the relaxing ambiance. I understand being loud but she kept trying to pull people into a conversation and it made it awkward. read more

Been quite a while since we've eaten at a Houlihan's as they all closed around us, but found this one while up at HersheyPark and have stopped in here twice now. On both visits, the food and service have been very good. Both visits were during COVID, so indoor dining was limited and we felt safe with staff wearing masks, and tables being socially distanced. My boys love their burgers and my fish tacos were really tasty on my last visit. I have a feeling this may be our new go to place when in the area! read more

Artichoke and goat cheese balls - could not taste artichoke- no heart, just leaves, so on the bland side. Pot roast- good portion, decent flavor. Steak and Blue Cheese wedge salad- brown lettuce, waiter brought a separate plate for the brown pieces...and left them for the rest of the meal - odd. Korean Chicken- good flavor, but on the salty side, no charred pineapple. Just pineapple out of a can, which would be ok if it was charred a little. Green beans were fresh. read more
