Well established diverse American classic menu scratch kitchen restaurant. Famous for their ribs and good burgers, chicken and French dip sandwiches. Great top notch h servers and service and comfortable relaxing warm atmosphere. You will be taken care of here. Kudos to Sushant our waiter- great friendly personality who certainly made our evening enjoyable

I am a frequent guest at the related Hillstone brand in Winter Park Florida, and the restaurant group is consistently "elevated" in fare and service. Also, I appreciate the more adult-focused atmosphere, and dress code. Similar vibe at the Scottsdale Road Houston's. Friendly professional service with Emily (drinks at the community table, as we were waiting for a bar vacancy), and matching friendly service at the bar with Tyler. We had a bowl of Clam Chowder to start, and dove into the Cedar Plank Salmon, and the GF had the Pan Asian Noodle Salad. The Salmon is consistently above average at Houston's and a main reason for the visit. I dabbled in the Asian Salad which was also worthy (I would add a protein if it was my dish). Houston's consistently achieves their high standard.

HOUSTON'S @ SCOTTSDALE The Hawaiian rib eye was AMAZING, and this is as someone who usually never likes steak. The appetizer was the house smoked salmon and it was super super delicious to pair. The service was amazing for our birthday celebration when bringing out the apple crumble. It is a little more high end but perfect for a date night. Overall 5/5

Houston's thank you so much for another great meal with top notch service. Your staff is always amazing, I truly appreciate every single person and all their help to make our dining experience the best.

This is now my staple when in Scottsdale. The atmosphere is great. Booths are very comfortable. The food taste and presentation is always great. Our waitress, Emma, was incredible. It seemed like she was always there when we needed something. I was impressed! The food is great, the staff is great the atmosphere is great mission accomplished!

Houston's serves up some reliably solid food. For a chain, it's actually pretty good, and the ambiance has that comfortable, slightly-upscale neighborhood vibe--perfect for when you just want a good burger and fries without the fuss. We ordered the artichoke hearts, the fried chicken sandwich, and the ahi steak. The ahi came out perfectly rare, which was on point and honestly a pleasant surprise. We hadn't been here in nearly two decades, but a friend kept raving about their key lime pie, so of course we had to try it. It was... fine. Nothing life-changing. Service is exactly what you'd expect from a well-run spot like this--waters topped off regularly, servers checking in without hovering. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Amazing! It's a great place. Dim lighting but not too dark to see the menu. Gives a little fancier vibe. Dress to impress. They only allow reservations for smaller parties, I believe 4 is the max. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. Now the food, yummy! The ribeye is my absolute favorite and a huge portion as I always end up taking half home. My parents split the ribs and wow they literally licked the plate clean. Their fries are cooked in duck fat...so good! The cocktails never miss, if you don't see anything you want on the menu they will make whatever you're craving with a generous pour. This is not my first time here and won't be my last!

Yes please! Their artichokes are delicious, please try them

Houstons never let's us down! Its always a relaxing, delicious experience. I have to warn you though a reservation is recommended. They can get busy. And I don't like to wait. We love their appetizers. We usually have their fries, shrimp and artichokes if available. We had their Red Ruby trout. Grace our server recommended it and it was delicious. Excellent sauce and moist. The smaller shrimp that came with it was good also. It came with a crisp, very fresh coleslaw. Also perfectly seasoned. Grace thank you for excellent customer service! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Waitress - gracious Ambiance - casual yet classy Food - good but didn't blow us away I ordered the salmon and a side of chicken, both were tasty and satisfying, I was happy with how my meal turned out. My husband got the pork chop. I think he liked the cabbage it came with more than the pork itself as he said the pork was very dry. Makes sense for how thick it was. The French Fries were MEH. The cheeseburger was ... Eh. The key lime pie was delicious! Not the worst food in the world by any means but definitely not a place we will frequent/make a regular staple in our dining out lives.

What is the veggie burger made of? Does it have soy?

No. It is beans, rice, oats, beets, onions and a great blend of spices.

Can they handle a party of 10?

They aren't not taking more then 4 people at the moment due to covid. And they may or may not be changing policy to only allow smaller parties. If you want a bigger group example, 8 people you'll be separated 4 by 4. So 4 at one table and 4 on a…

Is it true that this restaurant is not requiring masks or social distancing? Are all the staff wearing masks? Are the tables socially distanced?

Everyone is wearing a mask while walking or not eating- I did notice they sat every table where other places I've eaten in only sat every other table- not sure if that helps....

Do they have high chairs for babies?

Call them and ask. It's not really a baby kind of restaurant though.

We brought family from out of town and had a party of 11 (six adults and five kids). There was a long wait, which we completely understood. We spent the time at the bar where the service was excellent, and the kids browsed the nearby shops. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the experience went downhill. Our server seemed to have little sense of urgency. Everything took an unusually long time, but the biggest issue was the food, which took well over an hour despite being a very simple order of burgers, sandwiches, and other basic menu items. Throughout the wait, we watched tables seated after us receive their food and leave while we were still waiting. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication. Rather than checking in or providing an update, our server was frequently visible chatting with coworkers and rolling silverware. When our food finally arrived, it was at best room temperature, making it seem like it had been sitting for quite a while before being brought to the table. We asked to speak with a manager, who said she would look into it, but never returned to follow up. That lack of acknowledgment or accountability was even more disappointing than the delay itself. We declined the offer of dessert because we needed to get the kids home, yet instead of bringing the check promptly, our server spent additional time clearing the table before finally processing our payment. As someone who has worked as a server, I understand that delays happen and kitchens get backed up. What makes the difference is communication, ownership, and making guests feel like their time matters. None of that happened here. It's unfortunate because we've had good experiences in the past, but this visit left us embarrassed that we chose this restaurant to host visiting family.

This was years ago, before the speakeasy existed. I remember we were greeted at the table with glasses of champagne. Service was impeccable, food was delicious. We had one of the best desserts of our lives. 10/10 first impression. We went back maybe a year later after the speakeasy was built in, and it seemed like all their attention went to that instead. They were out of a bunch of dishes on the menu. I remember we all got our food except for my husband and we finally had to ask the server what was going on with his dish and that's when they told us they were out of that dish he had ordered too. They offered to make something else on the house, but at this point we were all almost done with our food so he ended up with nothing. They did try to make it right, I'll give them that, but it was a weird experience. We decided to give the restaurant one last try for my mom's birthday over the weekend and it solidified our opinions on this place. First of all, it's EXPENSIVE. I get it's Scottsdale but they are trying way too hard with $80 ribeyes and $1500 bottles of wine, but not giving you anything for it. Don't get me wrong, I'll enjoy an expensive meal when I feel it's warranted. The food, service, details need to go above and beyond to justify my $500+ tab. That's just not the case here. The server didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Didn't even offer a birthday dessert? We ordered salads before our meals and our entrees showed up two minutes later. My sister had her leftover pasta boxed up and they never brought it back. She asked about it and they said they could fire her a new one, but we were ready to go at this point. These are not issues you should be having at an upscale restaurant at this price point. After all this, we won't be returning. There are much better restaurants at lesser price points that offer amazing food with above and beyond experience. Everyone try Restaurant Progress instead!

Instead, we were publicly embarrassed and treated like criminals for absolutely no reason. After we were seated, I closed the curtain because the table next to us was loud and obnoxious. Minutes later, the manager, Hannah, walked over and decided our entire group was "too intoxicated" to be served. Not a single person in our group was causing a scene, being disrespectful, or acting out of control. We were sitting at our table, ordering dinner. What makes this even more ridiculous is that after taking our drink order, Hannah personally brought out three green tea drinks in champagne glasses. Then, almost immediately afterward, she decided we were somehow too intoxicated to stay. Which is it? If we were supposedly too drunk to be there, why were drinks being served in the first place? We had already ordered what would have been around a $700 meal, and instead of being treated with basic respect, we were stereotyped because we were a bachelorette party. It felt like Hannah had already made up her mind before giving us any chance to prove otherwise. Restaurants absolutely have the right to refuse service to genuinely intoxicated guests. What they should not do is make assumptions based on the type of celebration or the size of a group. This wasn't responsible service--it was poor judgment, inconsistent management, and an incredibly embarrassing way to treat paying customers. We'll happily spend our money somewhere that values its guests instead of profiling them. !!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!! We ended up at ZUZUs, they treated us with respect and dignity. My wife ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon and a Caesar salad, plus wine while I got the 22 ounce Ribeye and a side of Poblano and PepperJack Grits, plus an iced tea. It all came to $137.11 plus tip. Our salad arrived in 8 minutes and our dinner 10 mins later. The salad was outstanding. Plenty of romaine, dressed with the right amount of dressing, 3-4 croutons and a mound of shaved Parmesan cheese. The salmon was really good, served with sautéed green beans and soy butter. I stopped by Society Swan for a nightcap after having dinner at Teleferica Barcelona. I parked in the complimentary lot at the mall. Ambiance (5/5): This is part of where Society Swan shines. It's a beautiful restaurant. With speakeasy vibes (although it's not a speakeasy). The bar area is essentially in its own room which is where I sat. If you're dining in, there's a spacious dining area (along with a mini bar). Think deep wood and sophistication. Service (4/5): While they weren't too busy, service was solid. I was greeted promptly and presented with a menu. The bartender checked back in after a reasonable time to take my order. I had to grab his attention to close out. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so only a cocktail for me on this visit. With that being said, I love French food so I'd definitely love to return to check out the fare. I'm generally a fan of Fox Restaurant Concepts and their flock of restaurants (did you see what I did there?!), so I imagine the food is quite good. Drinks (4/5): Society Swan has an interesting cocktail list, with a good portion of it being martinis. The speakeasy vibes hit here too as you see creativity and sophistication with the cocktails. They're a bit pricey, but overall, my cocktail was good. It's tough for me to say no to drinks with Japanese elements like yuzu. Society Swan is located in the same vicinity as Teleferica Barcelona, Catch, and Din Tai Fung. Quite the corner of restaurants! Looking forward to trying the food next time around.
