I'd heard about this place & I love Mediterranean, so my friend and went to try it. The set up is much like Chipotle, Panda, and others - a long bar behind glass where you start with your choice of bowl or wrap. I wanted a gyro & saw it on the menu, but was told the meat was a "protein " choice only. I got the wrap bread, added some things including "gyro" meat. The meat is cold, watery, without taste. So disappointing. My friend got a bowl & was fine with it. We both felt rushed through the line, there were only 2 servers, which was not sufficient. The man that was first to serve, was not welcoming, offered no explanations, clearly just wanted us to hurry along. Cannot recommend. read more

The food at Hummus Republic is genuinely delicious. The portions are large and filling, the hummus is fresh and flavorful, and the pita chips are crispy, well-seasoned, and perfect for dipping. It's a place you can tell puts care into the food they serve. The place is always clean and bathrooms are pretty decent. That said, it was honestly uncomfortable to witness how rude some customers were to the staff. I saw multiple people come in with bad attitudes and very short tempers toward workers who were doing nothing wrong. Please remember that these employees are working hard and deserve basic respect. We were greeted with a nice warm welcome as soon as we entered. It was my first time here, so it's a bit overwhelming. It took quite a while for me to decide, you get 3 options of this, and 3 options of that. And all the toppings you want, some of them cost extra. I just said to put everything on that doesn't cost extra, lol We also got an order of the fried flat bread, and I got the falafel, with rice and mixed greens, I got my sauces on the side, the only one I liked was the red one, not sure what that one was now. Just walking into Hummus Republic is refreshing. the space is open and the windows let the sunlight in. that'll have you feeling just right! i always warmly greeted when i come here. it's pleasant to see a smiling face that's happy to take your order. at first i didn't really know what to get because i wasn't sure how the flavors went together. i opted for the wrap and that was for sure a win. the server made a few suggestions and was patient with me while i figured things out. i basically got everything i know i like. i tried a few sauces that were recommended but i got the on the side just in case. of course, how could i hesitate, it was all mouth wateringly delicious! along with the wrap i got an order of falafel to try the sauces and a drink. they have Pepsi products here. i sat outside and enjoyed a great meal. i will definitely be back soon! read more

Mom and I ordered bowls, Kay ordered a beef and lamb gyro. What did I really like? The healthyyyyyy options on the go or dine in! You start with a base of either couscous, garbanzo beans or greens. You then select up to three hummus flavors, then select either one protein or a combo, then toppings (low carb veggies and cheese) the add your dressings My bowl was garbanzo beans and kale as base, then lemon chicken and shawarma chicken. I opted for the spicy harissa, beet, and regular hummus options! The beet option will be replaced because October is ending! The toppings area had many choices! There were lots of different dressings and you can have more than one! Toppings included pickled cabbage, artichoke, cucumber, tomatoe, pickles, beets, onions, kalesta olives, dolmas, feta, ... Our orders were made by Steve and Audrey. Both gave great explanations to first timers, answered many questions with a high level of patience and continued to serve with a smile. Steve is a very kind and humble man! The soda machine had several very tasty options that were flavored with agave as opposed to refined sugar. I took a sip of all the flavors including cream, pineapple and rootbeer. They were very good, refreshing and had a very crisp flavor! We showed up just after the lunch rush and the garbage cans were clean, not over flowing,the majority ohe tables were cleaned. The food serving area was also clean, including under where the average customer isnt looking! The bottled bottled beverages were in ice and nicely condensated. This place is in and out. You come in you let Them know what you like and the. They are just adding it. Either to a pita, to a bowl. They also have falafel burgers. I love the bowls because you can add all you want. You pick the base, either couscous, chickpeas. Then you pick your greens after that you choose your protein. They have vegan options. After that you pick all your condiments. They have a variety of good stuff. Before that you choose your hummus. They have tradicional the spicy one and another one I don't remember. I always get the spicy. The I get the salsa. The spicy it's the great One. I got the pita bread with the bowl and some falafel. They have some great drinks. Some adult drinks as well. I rarely come in to the office so I don't get to this location often but our book club met here a couple weeks ago and enjoyed ourselves. It was not busy on a Tuesday . The food here is still good, still very clean. I don't think prices have gone up, which is amazing and appreciated! Everyone on this night enjoyed their food and since it wasn't busy, we took our time chatting. But, really, there is plenty of seating. Service was great, everything is made fresh so it may take some minutes to get your food. But I appreciate staff has been well trained on how to keep things efficient. The food is good, but service was a little questionable. From the time we walked in (about 6 people) to the time the girl came to take the order was a good 20 minutes. I love Hummus Republic, they have vegan and vegetarian options. It's all delicious, I normally get their Pitas with mushrooms or falafel. Today I got the bowl, with falafel and all the toppings it was so delicious! Their pita chips are so addicting, soft, yet with a crunch and warm, OMG! The owners are super kind and put love into their establishment and customers. They also support so many small businesses like bakers and others. Customer service was extraordinary (on the night of 1/10/23). I do have to admit, the standing/waiting process for someone as patient as me does create a large loss of functional time from entry to seating. So a ding for that. Nonetheless, we've always had a great experience here. The proteins are always flavored well. They have good sauces and hummus. The intensity of the garlic within some products can overwhelming. I do not play about my food, I am a certified big back hence why I'm an elite yelper haha. The following day the business owner reached out to me the following day and kindly offered me a remake of my order. Instead of delivery I opted to pick it up so there wouldn't be any more mishaps. So the last two times I've been here to pick up lunch with my co workers, it's been really bad...the same two people, a woman and a boy have been working both times around 11:30-12 on Fridays. It's like they're so unprepared/ disorganized and get the most flustered with the lunch rush. It's been about a 20-30 minute wait both most recent times, which sucks when you're on a time crunch and it was never like that before. I usually order online from here but today was my second visit in store. Both times the food was good but the service was lacking. The first time I visited I came right after opening and there wasn't any other customers. We waited around 20 min for a few orders of hummus and pita chips (we actually ordered online and had scheduled for when it opened but it was not ready) and added a side of falafel. Today the wait was slightly longer. There was only 2 customers when we walked in but the line was to the door by time we left. The 2 employees working seemed frazzled and were going back and forth to the back leaving us standing there waiting in between adding toppings. When they were taking my order I felt kinda rushed. Overall they weren't super friendly but understandable since they were starting to get busy. Today I tried a bowl with lemon chicken with a farmers mix base and it was good. Arrived around 6pm on a Saturday evening for dinner. The inside lighting was on the dim side didn't think they were open but lucky they were. I noticed Chloe, the owner was there she was the one who greeted us with her bright smile and outgoing personality. She was also the one who took our order. My husband and I ordered two bowls for dine in. We've had Hummus Republic before, I was first introduced to it through a Yelp Elite event when they first opened their downtown location and have been a fan since. Love their fresh ingredients! There are so many options to build your own bowls, wraps and pita. The portions are huge and very filling and so much great flavors. I had ordered their falafel she had them fried fresh and they were delicious and made perfectly. Our toddler was also with us that evening and she's such a picky eater and we were so happy to see she was eating the falafel. The resturant is clean and the owner is very friendly. I've been waiting a solid week to have lunch here. I chose it for my quick birthday lunch the night before I went on their website to try to find a bowl that was under 500 calories and saw one on their Instagram. So I ordered my bowl on a website, I tried to build it the same way except I chose the half Shawarma chicken half falafel and I added an additional serving of chicken. I just had a funny feeling when I picked it up and sure enough when I started eating it there was only half a serving of chicken. I was so bummed and butt hurt that I called it in and requested my money back and they definitely did. Just a reminder of how lowering your expectations prevent these types of issues. read more

Hummus Republic was a restaurant I frequented as it's local and I try to shop local. Unfortunately, I had an unacceptable experience at Hummus Republic and will not be returning. I put in an online order through their website not noting the time. Their website took my order and my payment so I waited for the pick up time. As I walked over to pickup my order, I went to open the door and realized it was locked. I looked inside and didn't see anyone. At that point I had already made due with the fact that they were probably closed and I would just call in the morning for a refund. However, I look over and a female employee is coming over with an order which I assume is mine. She doesn't say hi, doesn't even look at me as she hands me my order. As she walks away, she mutters that they were out of falafels. I immediately asked for a refund. She rolls her eyes and walks back inside. I can hear her talking about the situation to the other male employee there who I assume is the manager. At this point, I can tell she's frustrated and so I'm just standing there waiting because I'm not trying to make it harder for them. The manager guy comes out and I can instantly tell he's also frustrated. I let him know I would like a refund due to them being out of falafels. This seems to be a big issue because he calls, who I assume is the owner, and begins explaining to them the situation and getting more frustrated it seemed like. He then tells me I can just have the food. I assumed he meant along with my refund but I literally just said, "no thank you." This seemed to just set him off even more and he starts yelling at me regarding me not even wanting to just take the food. Mind you, I didn't want that food to go to waste and if I took it, it would have. I then try to explain that I was looking forward to the falafels and the service had not been acceptable. He continues to go off about it being a bad day for them, without allowing me to really say anything so I just wait for my refund. He finally is able to get it for me. As he hands it to me he says, "God bless you." After berating me for asking for a refund.. Like I get it, people have bad days but it is not okay to take it out on others. Personally, I had also had a pretty crappy day and had treated myself to HR and was specifically looking forward to the falafels. Anyway, I reached out to the owner regarding the situation. They said they had heard about the situation and their employee did nothing wrong. I appreciated the reply, however, their lack of accountability is wild. I ended up going to Mayd the next day and I cannot express enough how delicious it is. Thanks to this experience I tried something new and now it's filled the spot HR lost in my rotation. read more
