Spicy Poblano Omelet and hash brown.
    Jin Y.

Breakfast menu items are great at any IHOP. Today, I had the Spicy Poblano Omelet with hash brown and pancakes. The meat, jalapeños, cheese, and eggs were fresh. The rest of my family had Big Steak Omelet, New Belgium Waffle, and the Breakfast Sampler. It was a bit crowded, but this location has gotten busy like it was pre-Covid which is great. We waited 20 minutes and was seated outside. Service was okay based on the restaurant being totally crowded. Our waitress was juggling many tables and each of her tables had at least 4 people. Our food were brought out 23 minutes after we placed our orders. The restaurant has the standard IHOP ambiance. 6, 4, and 2 person booths along with 4 and 2 person tables. Overall, staff were friendly and the food tastes great.

All of the takeout that we ordered was good with no complaints whatsoever. When we arrived to pick up our several orders of French toast the restaurant was completely empty and very clean. The food was ready as scheduled so there was no time and the customer service was blah.

Poblano omlette and hash browns. $14.49 + tax February 2023

I appreciate that IHOP has gluten free options on their menu, marked "gluten friendly" (terrible term) due to the fact they have a shared kitchen. The hashbrowns are gluten free and there are gluten free pancakes and waffles available. I have Celiac and have to eat gluten free. I was craving an omelette today but IHOP's omlettes are made with a touch of pancake batter for fluffiness. Our server (J.Z.) said he could have the omlette made with actual cracked eggs rather than the omlette batter to make it gluten free. I could hear him, in Spanish, tell the cook to only use actual eggs because I couldn't have the omlette batter. I appreciated him helping me out. The $14.49 poblano omlette was good and comes with half an avocado (and it tasted fresh for being February!) I had to take about a third of it home because it was very filling. While this might be a run of the mill restaurant for people who can eat anything, as someone with Celiac, it's a big deal to find a restaurant that takes restrictions seriously and is affordable. I appreciate that. Visited: February 2023

I came here by myself on a Thursday night and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was not busy but the staff was really attentive! Made sure I got everything in time, water never ran out and got the bill in a timely fashion. I got the steak and eggs and to be honest it's not the best but def something I'd expect from ihop. I'll be coming back!

This is the most picturesque burger I've gotten from something on the level of iHop. Idk who's the cook but you're overqualified lmao. Tasted great and service is consistently solid.

Typical American food, with a focus on smash burgers. I tried the Smashy Burger. Price is great, only $12 for the burger and house chips. Food took a while to come out for the place not being busy. Even though the entire bar was wide open with only one other person there. First spot I sat in was at one of the gaming machine, after ordering my beer I was asked to move over a couple chairs to a spot that wasn't reserved for gaming. (Which I totally understand) I gladly moved over, and once I was sitting on the spot and started to drink my beer I was asked to move AGAIN over one more spot, and I looked at the spot and noticed that it was just one chair in between two gaming machines with absolutely no space or room for comfort, I thought to myself she's got to be kidding, right she doesn't expect me to sit at the corner of this bar in between two machines with no space to even lean over on the bar cause you got the the corner jamming you right in the gut. I decided to walk out and leave. There were a total of 2 people sitting at the bar with almost every seat wide open. But she needed me to sit in a random spot between 2 chairs, and yeah, maybe I wasn't gaming at that moment, but I had a couple hundred dollars in my pocket that I possibly could've put in a machine if I really felt like it. Hope you're coming here only for the gaming because if you're not, don't bother sitting at the bar.

About halfway through our meal, a child at the table directly next to us vomited all over the table and floor beside us. While we completely understand that accidents happen and do not blame the family whatsoever, the way the situation impacted the rest of our evening was extremely disappointing. The restaurant ultimately had to wait for a hazmat team to come in and clean the area, which meant we were sitting through the smell, disruption, and overall unsanitary atmosphere during what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner. At that point, the experience was completely ruined and there was no salvaging the evening. What was most disappointing was the lack of care or hospitality afterward. I spoke to someone named Brandon while we were there and asked for a business card or contact information, and was simply told he "didn't have one." No apology was offered, no meaningful acknowledgment was made regarding the situation, and there was no attempt to make things right despite how obviously uncomfortable and disruptive the experience had become. We spent a significant amount of money expecting an enjoyable steakhouse experience and instead left frustrated, uncomfortable, and incredibly disappointed. I also attempted to contact the restaurant directly afterward and was unable to get ahold of anyone. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and reaches out, because this was an awful way to spend what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner.

This week they also offered two specials -- the Oklahoma (Dandan with grilled onions) and the Jalapeño Oklahoma (Dandan with grilled onions and jalapeños). The Dandan has been on my list for a while, so I finally pulled the trigger. I called around 11:30 a.m. and was promptly helped by a friendly employee. After a quick chat about which of the three was best, I went with the Jalapeño Oklahoma and a side of Brussels sprouts. I've had the sprouts before and really liked them -- they felt like a slightly healthier alternative to the usual fried sides. (Though when I arrived to pick up my order, it seemed like everyone else was happily devouring onion rings, which made me second-guess that choice.) As expected, there was a line stretching out the door. I quickly realized I was the only one actually waiting outside. Several people walked straight in, bypassed the line, and got helped right away. Turns out a group of 3-4 people had already ordered and were just hanging out inside in the AC while they waited. Lesson learned: if you've already placed your order, just walk in next time. While I waited, the staff brought out an ice-cold cup of their fresh cantaloupe juice. It's very sweet and genuinely delicious -- highly recommend. I took everything to go and ate at home, so I can't speak to temperature. The burger was big and loaded with meat and cheese -- you couldn't really see the jalapeños or onions at first, but they announced themselves with the first bite. The brisket patties cooked in tallow deliver a deep, rich beef flavor. They're a little firmer than a standard burger (as expected with brisket), so if you're someone who likes a lot of vegetables and toppings, this might not be your ideal burger. But if you're after a straight-up, beef-forward, no-frills experience, you won't be disappointed. The Brussels sprouts were excellent as always -- perfectly balanced with a sweet-tangy balsamic glaze. Let's be honest... I'll definitely be back. Next time I'm trying the classic Dandan -- and those onion rings.
