Came about 10am for a later breakfast. They were packed and the service was slow, we waited a good amount for the dishes to arrive. All the meals came out great, no issues. I requested suger free syrup, which they had. The gluten friendly pancakes were not great, definitely dry, I have had better. Our server Karla was good but she definitely seemed overwhelmed. We had to ask for utensils and the ketchup container was empty and she forgot to bring me another. Previous times the service has been pretty quick. By far, the worst IHOP ever. It took us 40 minutes to get seated, which would be normal for a Saturday morning but it was unusually slow. She said all they had to do was clean the table. As I was waiting I was watching the people who order take out and they were waiting a long time. People were saying their food is getting cold and why don't they ask if any of the bags (which are ready) are theirs. We finally got our table it took us about 20 minutes to get our drinks and I told my party to order right away because is going to take a long time. Sure enough it did. It's like time stands still here lol. Kathy our server was fabulous & deserves five stars totally. They have a +55 menu for the folks & I had the 'Fit' breakfast w/ egg whites, turkey bacon & wheat toast. The side of fruit looked horrible. Overall, it's an ok quick breakfast, nothing special. $31 for three. Located right off of the freeway & the sign is hard to see. Food was solid, waiter and staff was nice except for the lady that seemed to be the manager. A shorter heavier set lady working between 10:00am and 10:30am on Sunday, October 6th turned what would be a pleasant breakfast experience into an irritable and annoying one Story goes my girlfriend and I walk in at 10:07am and ask for a table, we're told a 10-15 minute wait. No problem. We wait in the car for about 5 minutes and I have to use the bathroom so I walk in to use it and my girlfriend walks in about a minute after me because I texted her and told her there was room inside now to wait. I use the bathroom, come out, it's about 10:25 now and we haven't been called. No biggie, I ask the nicer younger hostess if we've been called, she said it looked like we had been skipped but they can get us seated soon. Minor inconvenience but not a big deal at all - that is until the shorter heavier set lady who seemed to be the manager decides to chime in and say "oh no move them to the bottom of the list, I called inside and outside for them loudly and they didn't show up" mind you, there's about two people ahead of us. I don't mind waiting an extra 5 minutes, but this miserable lady is speaking about us to her hostess as if we're not sitting right next to them. I ask this lady "who was it that went out, was it you?" She said "yes, I called for Alex and Alexis and no one showed" What happened was simple, they called us sooner than they told us originally and we were skipped as a result, wouldn't have been a big deal if it wasn't for this shorter heavier set lady's tone and speaking about customers as if they're not a foot away patiently waiting due to a mistake they made. The cherry on top was them being ready for us and her saying "you can get Alexis seated now" Again, food was good, all but the short heavier set lady were nice but unfortunately it seems she's the head honcho at this ihop. read more

We decided on breakfast for dinner. IHOP is notoriously known for their breakfasts so we figured give this location a try. Interior was clean. The hostess was very nice and quickly sat us. Our server was very personable. I always enjoy good customer service. We ordered the southwest scrambler with toast, simple fit 2 egg meal, and of course hot tea. The food was fair. With the simple fit meal- they should let you know the bread doesn't come buttered that it is dry toast. The location is Tropical/ Centennial. Ample parking. read more

I've been to a lot of IHOP restaurants over the years and in many parts of the country. This location has gotten my business a few times and I question as to why each time. Today, we went around 11am. It was better because the lunch rush started around noon. Our waiter was difficult to understand and mumbled a lot, but he was at least nice. He did, however, return our credit card sticky with syrup which was not enjoyable. I ordered the southwest scramble. It was pretty sad. The eggs were runny even though they were scrambled and there was no real flavor. It came with a side of salsa, but it didn't help much. The seasoned potatoes were crispy and seasoned well which helped offset the rest of the dish. The side of pancakes was not what I had expected. I'm not sure if IHOP changed their process to make them, but they weren't the same as what I had experienced in the past. The butter didn't seem to melt into the center and they were a little chewy. Overall, this was a pretty poor experience. I'm disappointed the food was of low quality and not what I expect from IHOP. This will probably be the last time I go here for a while in hopes they change the way they do business. read more

What a difference a day of the week makes. Last Friday we ordered from here and everything was perfect. Today, Saturday we ordered and there were problems. My sister got the classic burger/chicken sandwich with a salad. There was no salad and no special sauce in the buns. She had to put mayonnaise on her buns. The fries that we ordered with the burrito were in the container with the sandwich. Then there was no syrup to go with the blueberry pancakes and no blueberry compote either. Eggs looked bad but were good. Consistency makes for good customer service. Now I will think twice about ordering from here again. read more

Such a waste of time! Came here this morning and it was about a 10-15 minute wait which is to be expected on a Saturday morning. Took a number and sat down. Two groups who came in after us were seated before us. Got seated in a little over 15 minutes. Took another 10 for someone to come to the table. We ordered two orange juice and our breakfast at the same time. This is when it gets really bad. We watched 5 SEPARATE groups get seated after us and they quickly got their drinks. Our waiter Vincent came and apologized about the wait and told us it would be 5 more minutes. After 45 minutes we finally got our OJ. We watched as all five groups got their breakfast and we were still waiting there. My husband watched as the waiter was by the pass and going around in circles. Never once did he check on our food. He came out again saying it would be another 5 minutes. The hostess saw me looking around everywhere and asked if everything was ok. I then let him know we had been waiting awhile and I understand it's busy but why would all these people get their drinks and food before us when we got there so early. Vincent then came again and told me "just another 5 minutes." I swear if I heard another 5 minutes again!!!! After another 15 minutes we were done! No food, no explanation, nothing to make it right. We never received our food. After waiting for over an hour at an empty table and watching the whole dining room shove their faces, we left. Disappointing! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE - Memorial Day 2021. Went in for breakfast and was seated in about 10 min but it took another 10 min and me getting up to ask the hostess what was going on to get someone to even acknowledge us. After asking the hostess a waitress came over and took our order. I ordered a breakfast bowl (a scramble) l. After another 15 min the order came out cold and without any eggs!?!?! I explained this to the waitress who said she'd put in another order. A few minutes later the waitress returned with the wrong order. More than 45 min in the restaurant and didn't get breakfast. Thinking about eating breakfast at IHOP on a Sunday morning? Usually a bad idea. When we pulled up, the parking lot was full and there were a few families standing outside of the doors. I fought my way up to the hostess stand and made a reservation for a party of two. 20 to 25 minutes she said. My husband and I waited for less than a minute out in the sweltering heat when we spotted an empty bench in the mid-section. We sat down in the in-between section and then after another minute passed by, my husband motioned for me to move seats again to a bench closer to the hostess stand. What is this, musical chairs? Anyways, my point is that the seating area was being cleared out in pronto like fashion. Our name was called seconds after. Instead of waiting 20-25 minutes, we were seated within 5 minutes even though it looked crazy busy here. We were seated in a booth section and our waiter quickly took our drink orders. I'm a fan of IHOP's vanilla and mocha iced coffees ($2.99). The drinks are a little pricey but at least you get refills. I ordered a short stack of pancakes ($5.99) and the Mr. got some kind of ginormous combo plate. The food was out in less than 10 minutes. The food was made to order and tasted great. If you're going to IHOP and ordering pancakes, french toast, or waffles, I cannot stress the importance of using their Butter Pecan syrup!!! It makes everything better and knocks the socks off of plain ol' maple syrup. My husband introduced me to Butter Pecan syrup and I've been hooked ever since. I swear I dump half the bottle of that sweet stuff on my pancakes. ;) Our waiter was on his game. He checked up on us often and made sure everything was okay. When my husband's plate came out minus some hash browns, the waiter said he'd take care of it and the hash browns were out seconds later. Our bill came to $22 and some change. The only complaint I have is that when we went to the counter to the pay, the cashier either tried to withhold the receipt or forgot to hand it back to us. I've had this problem at least three times before, so it can't be coincidence. Thing is, that receipt has a survey on it which gets you a free short stack on your next visit. I rarely fill them out, but hey the point is, I want that receipt! I liked the fact that we were able to get in and out of the restaurant with virtually no wait time. The customer service overall was average, but our waiter in particular was awesome. The IHOP in Centennial Center is your usual everyday IHOP. I'll be back when I want some more Butter Pecan syrup with a side of pancakes. read more

Much nicer location, in my opinion...around the North Las Vegas area. I wouldn't eat in, with the times and how jam-packed it always seems to be (at most hours, beyond breakfast ones). Good eats for a meal you don't always have out...breakfast. Love their omelets, especially the bacon temptation! Tomatoes add the extra touch of flavor I kinda want, after the cheesy flavoring on top. We were greeted and seated promptly when we arrived here. The server took our drink order soon after we were seated and all was good up to then. We ordered and I was specific about how I wanted my food cooked. However, upon bringing our food to the table I noticed that my directions were not followed. First off, I ordered crispy bacon and it was not! The tiny slice of ham was dry and difficult to chew and the single sausage was burnt beyond taste. The only enjoyable part of my meal was the pancake. It was warm and very tasty. He refilled drinks in timely manner, but it was obvious that this server was woefully overloaded with tables. Our entire section of the restaurant was his to serve. He was doing his best with what he was tasked with. In my opinion nobody should have to work so hard!! So, I couldn't bring myself to complain about the way the food was prepared. It wasn't his fault and he was not responsible for the kitchen staff doing poorly. There's something about the kids eat free that tends to keep us coming back even with the poor service here. The food is hit or kiss depending on the chef of the day. Upon entry you're not formally greeted with a welcome. Heck, there have been a few times where no one was there to greet or seat us that we just went and sat down ourselves. Upon arrival table there is never a "HI, welcome, my name is.... What drinks can I get started for you today?" It's more of "what drinks do you want?" And very dry at that. But wait... There's more... For the past 4+ months they have been out of kids menus. It first started with just giving crayons and plain white paper. Now it's no crayons, no paper, nothing. But wait... There's more. Once the waitress takes your order and brings back your drinks, she doesn't come service the table again until your food is brought. And make sure to have all your requests ready because once she drops off the medicore food, she won't come back to the table until it's time to drop off the bill. There's no "is everything OK? Can I get you something else?" nothing. But since this is the only IHOP close to us... We tend to suck it up most days. read more

My family and I come to this location quite frequently. I usually get the waffle combo it's great. Together we've had quite a few things on the menu, consistently good food. The restaurant is always clean in the service is always friendly. Depending on where you go sometimes there could be a wait if it's very busy. I've given up on eating at this location, dine in or take out and now, delivery. They change their cut off times for ordering arbitrarily and open and closing times seem to change at random, without notice to customers or food delivery companies who are actively soliciting business for their establishment (and I use that term oh so generously). My last actual visit the two of us in our party went nuts and decided to order (wait for it...) pancakes. Now, i know it's unexpected at IHOP and a little unconventional, and perhaps something they weren't expecting given that it was both breakfast time AND they specialize in the food in question, but we're zany, madcap people who live life on the edge. It was our 2 weeks post full Covid vaccination outing and we decided to go crazy. At the IHOP. It took 40 minutes to be seated, despite call ahead seating reservations. We placed our order at 11:45AM and our salty server, whose eyes were apparently magnetically pulled to the back of her head as they seemed to roll that direction so often, begrudgingly took our order for two orders of pancakes. Nothing with them, just pancakes. She stomped off and fifteen minutes later graced us with her pleasantness again to announce "they don't have no more pancakes, you too late for a breakfast order." At this point it was 12:02PM. I asked when was this supposed cutoff for breakfast (at the IHOP) and she said noon. I reminded her we ordered at 11:45. She then exited muttering to herself and stomped back a few minutes later and yelled that "we don't have no more pancakes!" At that point, I didn't know whether to laugh or leave. So I did both. Since the service was on par with inmate meal service at Riker's Island, I decided a few months later to try a takeout order. I called and asked how late they were open. They verified they were open until 4. I asked if their full menu was available for takeout until 4 and they said it was, without exception and just to make sure the order was placed an hour before closing. That seemed somewhat ridiculous considering their already very limited hours and a nonexistent dinner menu at their location but I figured it wouldn't be a problem given I was done with work well before then. I called to place a takeout order just before I left work at 2:30 only to be told that the cutoff for placing takeout orders was 2:00. I explained I had called just an hour prior and verified I could order takeout as long as the order was placed an hour before closing. I asked if I would be served if I came in and ordered at 3:55 in the restaurant and the person on the phone said yes. I asked if they understood how absurd this order an hour prior to closing cutoff rule was, particularly during a pandemic and the entire concept was like trying to explain the beauty of a sunset to a person born without eyes. Attempt #3 today, via DoorDash. I placed the order at 3:15. Everything was going along fine with the order processing according to online tracking. At 4:20 I get a phone call from IHOP telling me they're now closed and can't prepare my order. I confirmed they received the order at 3:30 and that they indeed were open then. At that point it had devolved into a full blown cross examination (I'm a career prosecutor) because I was hangry and all out of funny. I asked if they actually sold food to customers and whether any of it included breakfast items resembling pancakes. I said not to bother answering as it was only a rhetorical question. I can't begin to express how bad the attitudes were of the employees in these various phone calls. I was a server in a greasy spoon for 8 years to put myself through undergrad, law school and beyond, during a recession, when I worked 2 additional jobs in the summers installing car stereos and bartending too. I get it, food service jobs blow. But in a crap economy, be grateful for the work and remember that without enough customers, you're expendable. That anyone needs to be told this during Covid is insane. TL/DR - avoid this IHOP, service is poor, hours are arbitrary and unpredictable and appear to be set by employees, rules for ordering make no sense. Bottom line: just buy a box of Bisquick and make pancakes yourself if you live in the far northwest. Otherwise you'll be in an eternal game of whack a mole like me. read more

Not trying to be inconsiderate or trying to get discounts but my buddies and I just work long shifts and sometimes we want to have a meal and feel appreciated well this ihop surely didn't appreciate. Got a 10% senior discount on the cheapest item which was 7.99. The discount was a dollar and some change. Not saying I deserve this elaborate discount but not coming here again since like I said we work long hours serving and protecting, I'll stick to the ihop which appreciates this. read more
