The service at this venue is extremely slow. The wait staff gathers in the back fooling around. Very frustrating.

Took my daughter to iHop for late breakfast. We were 2 so got seated right away. The location is fairly new, appeared clean and has plenty of seatings. Service was fast. Our waitress Diamond, was sweet. Bacon was burned,.she brought us new one. My daughter's OJ had white things floating inside, noticed as soon as brought to the table, returned and skipped. Could not wait for ihop to open in Palm Coast. The food was great as always , however , the service was rediculous. I have never seen so many servers in any restaurant. Funny thing is , none of them would serve us . After requesting water , we sat with none through half the meal . Requested ketchup , server responded " of course, I'll be right back ." Completely ignored us until I went and found it myself . Waited longer than ever to get our food . We won't be in a hurry to return . Hopefully they're just getting their sea legs . read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. No greeting when we came in. Got seated and soaked my pants because the seat was wet. Then 35 minutes before HALF the food cane. 20 minutes later got an unapologetic manager when the other half of our food hadn't come out get. The server...... needs a different line of work. Worse service ever this was the second time I came to eat at this ihop and only because I allowed my husband to convince me to give this place another chance. I had to walk out after waiting 45min and no one came to take our order the place is empty there was a total of 3 tables with customers there is no reason for the long wait. the manager came out and saw us and turned around and walked away and still did not send anyone to take our order. The date and time was 11/8/18 @ 7:30 that manger and all the servers at this shift should get fired if this please doesn't want to lose there local customers. read more

Went here about three weeks ago. We walked in and the woman at the front desk did not acknowledge us. After waiting 15 minutes no one came to seat us so we left. The bad reviews show that IHOP in Palm Coast requires changes for the better. read more

So glad IHop is finally here , come here often now . Love there Omelettes. Serves are all very nice aim to please everyone . Nice to know the mangers listen to there guest if there is problem . Despite what people say about this iHop it's not that bad. It's a normal I IHOP. I was worried about going here due to the reviews but today I finally made the trip. I don't usually pick restaurant chains for breakfast but today was that day. I got an Omelette and some pancakes and both were delicious. It was basic and nothing that completely wowed me or surprised me but it was really satisfying. The service was as expected at a chain, it was understaffed so it was on the slower side. As long as you don't expect instant gratification like it's a McDonalds you should enjoy your experience. read more

This was our 2nd trip since it opened up. 1st trip was within a week of opening. Everything was great. But this 2nd time ???? Not going back. Food was cold. Greasy. Fries were like warm & dry. Food not at all tasty. Service was poor. But having said that, Our server Andrew, was, friendly. We were there @ 2:10. Only 11 other tables had customers. Wasn't as if they were busy. It's taking into consideration Andrew's friendliness that I'm giving it 3 stars other wise it would be one star. But overall it is not a place I will re visit. read more

I have visited twice there and each time "not so good" and I believe it falls on "Management".... No Organization, the servers are all over the restaurant not in stations and that makes it more hard for them, and the manager needs to be seating people and taking orders if the server for that station is busy. People are lined up to be seated then once seated you have to wait a long time for your order to be taken, then once you get your food which is a long wait, you may or may not get a visit back to see if you need anything else. Me and my client stopped in just recently maybe a few weeks ago and she had 2 pancakes and I had a cup of soup, ...we waited 20 min for our food to be served, then our server never stopped by to see if we needed anything else, then time to go we had to wait another 30min for our bill, flagging another server down for our bill she said just leave money on the table?? There is no cashier the servers handle that so if they are busy you have to wait, it would work much better to have a cashier. My minestrone soup was terrible, not homemade and some of the veggies were chewy, my friend's pancakes were soft and soggy. We will not go back there ever again, I would suggest Management to visit Bob Evans, they have a cashier, everything is organized servers in own stations not all over the place, and get tips on how to make IHOP run more smoothly and maybe hire more in the kitchen to get food out faster. read more

It looked more like the grinch did #2 on my pancakes than actually looked like the cute photo of them on the commercials and ads. Meal came without 1/2 the things pictured. We were then told they didn't have those items. Nobody told us that when we ordered. Took us over 20 minutes to be greeted at a table. It's a brand new IHOP and the restrooms were filthy and staff needed appearance guidelines. They were all wrinkly and not well out together, especially all the females hair. read more

My husband and I ate at iHop on Friday morning, June 28, 2019. Our server was Dawn, who was an excellent and cheerful waitress. We placed our order, but upon receiving the order, I realized it wasn't quite what I thought I ordered. I checked the menu and it was what the description stated. Dawn cheerfully returned that order and had my eggs cooked again. I asked for my pancakes to be light, but when received, they were raw inside. Dawn immediately returned the pancakes and had some more prepared. My breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our breakfast. We will return when we are visiting in town again. read more

I stopped at the new ihop for a lunch w/ my wife. Brand new we thought it would be better or at least clean. No luck the place was a bad choice. my fish was breaded and then covered w/black flakes of ash from the grill, some as big as a dime. No chance it was missed it was too easy to see. My wife was just as disappointed w/her meal. I told the waitress to send the manager over, a very unhappy looking old woman w/jet black hair. It never happened. I paid w/tip and left. If there was an option for not choosing a star at all id go with that for sure. I was here a few days ago around 10pm and it was like being in a middle school cafeteria. Grown adults banging with their fists on the tables, not even in a manner of trying to keep a musical beat so it was just absolutely annoying especially as they were also kicking the wall divide between booths. There were multiple tables acting out screaming across the restaurant at each other. Guests were leaving, personally my anxiety sky rocketed to where I was visibly upset shaking and crying. I got my food to go as soon as it hit the table because the amount of insane that was happening was bizarre and a manager definitely should have controlled the restaurant as people were asking for their checks to leave ASAP. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. One chocolate shake, one strawberry shake, one lemonade. Lemonade came ASAP, choc shake 5 minutes later and then we were told that they only have 1 shake machine to our straw shake would be delayed. It arrived 10 minutes later. We ordered our food and while waiting I opened the napkin with the silverware only to find a dirty, crusty knife. Our food took 45 minutes to come because as the server said, something happened in the kitchen and they had to restart the order. One order was a burger with onion rings (they were cold and soggy), the other 2 orders were burgers with fries. The fries were delivered 10 minutes after the burgers. At this point I couldn't eat as I was totally turned off. The manager said he would take one item off the bill, but I had to give the burger back to them. I have never in my life been so disappointed by such rudeness, filth and terrible service. I will be sure to let all my friends/acquaintances know of this so they don't go to this new establishment. I'm actually really upset with my visit to this new location for various reasons. Within one minute of walking in the door we were taken to a dirty table and then escorted back to the front to wait for it to be cleaned. When we were brought back to the table, the seats and top of the table was covered in water from them wiping it down. I never thought someone would think it's okay to sit someone at a table like that. Waited forever for our server to come to even take our drink order. Finally after getting her to come and take out drink order she also took our food order, SAME TIME. Drinks came out after a little but the food was another story. Not only did we wait forever for our food but the amount of things that were wrong with our food is just too much to not let others know. My food- hash browns were raw, I asked them for completely brown and nothing on them was brown! I asked for chocolate chips in my pancakes and no chips. My boyfriend requested cheddar cheese in his melt and got American and Swiss. My mom never received her salsa for her omelette, sour cream for her potato pancakes and they NEVER brought her side of fruit. My brother received his chicken tenders and fries, one tender short and with this sticky jam substance on the rim of his bowl. Gross. This whole time we are still waiting on a lemonade to be brought to our table and not to mention ketchup. After getting the manager involved, he apologized. I was too upset and I left because I pay for this service, however my mom stayed to finish eating and still waiting for my brothers fruit. Finishing up the fries and tenders my brother found a hair in his ranch! As I'm sitting out in the parking lot writing this review, a couple walks out talking about how they complained because their meals were trash and he only offered 20% off and they will never be back. Honestly I understand and I'm just so upset at how this meal went. I'm really over going out anymore. For the trouble of everything I would have rather just ate at home. 2nd time visiting this place that opened in June of 2018. 1st visit slow service with personnel standing around talking with each other. Waitress while pleasant was slow at taking our order, brining the food. Never asked if we liked the food, nor asked if we needed refills, or desert. Had to flag her down for the check, which took over 5 minutes; she said she would be right back as she cleared dishes. After another 5 minutes or so, she waited on another table and then brought us the check telling us she would be right back as she took the check. Another 8 minutes to run the credit card and bring back. Not enough items on the menu. 2nd visit today as our granddaughters wanted to go. Arrived at 4:00 PM Only one other customer in the place. Quickly seated and waitress very pleasant. However, can you imagine prior to dinner rush, they were out of chicken nuggets? inexcusable. Same thing on 1st visit - out of an item my wife wanted to order. Poor management! read more

third time is NOT the charm in this instance. My husband and I went the first week they opened, so we expected, problems, and there were. So we came back again, and thought it would be better service, better food, and sadly it was as bad if not worse. And other patrons around us were complaining as well. So I did their survey on line and they called me, and sent me a " comp meal" coupon in the mail. So today, I said, well let's give them 1 more shot.. bad idea.. we ordered and my husband's waffles were cold, and my supposed "scrambled eggs" ( which were CLEARLY poured out of a container) were not cooked through all the way. My husband ordered hash browns which he never got, and I ordered a banana & nutella crepe, that I never got, the waitress came by and asked if I needed anything and i said ketchup for my hash browns, she seriously brought me an almost empty bottle of ketchup, I was wearing white, and the ketchup was making that noise it makes when it's almost completely out, so I tried not to use to much for fear of it squirting on my white clothes. We over heard the table behind us, and the table across from us complaining as well. I left the "comped coupon" on top of the bill, and we left.
