    Fire Ball Roll
    Wennie H.

Came in right when they opened. Not good. Rice was hard, not seasoned, felt old. Food came out semi quickly, we ordered a few things to get a good variety- negihama roll, fireball roll, California roll, bluefin and the isushi. The best for me was the isushi roll (just crab salad with salmons wrapped around it), it was hefty and had the most flavor. California roll was ok, had a lot of pepper in it. Fireball roll was sorta wet feeling, drowning in siracha. Negihama roll had cucumber...and that's all I could taste. The bluefin was meh, esp for how much you pay. Quality was ok. Rolls weren't rolled well/tight. We didn't finish everything or ask for a box, that's how you know we've been let down. Service is super friendly. Interior is sort of strange, felt like a club.

Good sushi with larger than expected selection of rolls. It was also somewhat pricey. It is a good option when in the area. The staff is friendly and the restaurant wasn't too busy.

Food and service were excellent! They were even willing to customize (by leaving the mayo off).

Cute, but quiet for 2pm. It was pricy but I think it was worth it. I got a Togo order and I was very happy. It was so delicious and they packed all the necessary things you need. Soy sauce (not in packets), ginger and wasabi. I would come back anytime!

Ordered from Uber Eats, bento box and chicken teriyaki for the friend. Everything was freshly made and tasty. My friend likes spicy and they delivered on that without it being too much for him. Would order from here again.

We just had an incredible meal at iSushi. The service is absolutely incredible. The staff is warm, welcoming and attentive. We were seated right away. Our daughter came here a few weeks ago with her grandpa and raved about this place. The waitress (Michelle), remembered our daughter and my dad. We got the Omakase Sashimi platter. It was soo good, we ordered another one. The fish was fresh, tasted amazing, and was presented with a nice garnishment that really complimented the fish. The presentation was beautiful. The Maple Valley roll was soo good and creative. It's a Spicy Tuna, Tempura Scallion, Mango T: Tuna, Salmon, Pico de Gallo, Tempura Flake, Green Onions S: Cilantro Mayo roll all into one!! It's creative, filling and tasty. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. I love the cherry blossom tree is beautiful and unexpected. I will absolutely be coming back!

Sushi was super yummy! Quality was better than most places around here. Was a little pricey, but I would go back again. Owner was super cool too.

We found this place on google when another place was busy. I must say I'm glad we came across this place. We got so much food and it was so fresh. We also got rice. Gyoza, and shrimp tempura a d vegetable tempura not pictured. I will recommend this place to all! Our server, Brendan, was the absolute best!

This place is absolutely darling! I love a family owned business! This place is the epitome of a family owned business with their younger kids sitting around and sometimes waving at customers (the little ones at least haha) and with mom/dad around. It makes dinner so much more pleasant and less stressful when I have my two little kids with me. It feels like a very laid back establishment, no pretentiousness here! It's spacious and accommodating to the smallest and largest appetites with their menu options. Their rolls were standard, and delicious. I would skip on the chef's choice sashimi and order a la carte only next time. We had salmon belly, toro, ikura, amaebi (with fried heads), scallop salad, and unagi a la carte. All absolutely delicious! Only thing is I wish there was a little less rice, but that's easily resolved. We got the Las Vegas roll, dragon roll, salmon skin roll, and 2 others I can't remember. I'd skip on salmon and Las Vegas and go with other fresh type of rolls in the future. Their rolls were really nicely made! Uniformed, had a great filling to rice ratio and the ones with sauces were very saucy! Haha We got a salmon maki cut twice as small for our little ones, and they were able to get us allergy information readily. The calamari tentacles and box were both cooked and seasoned perfectly. I would def get these two again to start. All in all, we loved this establishment, loved the cute little family running the place, and cannot wait to make this a regular outing place for our little family. The waitstaff was incredibly sweet and patient with our family, and I'm so glad we went here. Although my kids are really young, I can tell they immediately felt safe here as opposed to some other places where when we walk in and they're immediately nervous. The vibe was very calm and pleasant, and that's kind of what you need when you tow around two little ones at the end of the week! I do think the owners really set the tone for the place, and it really is a gem!

Very surprised by the quality of the sushi, the rolls, and the edemane. Very fresh and well put together, with unique combinations in rolls. The miso soup was a large portion, but too salty with only one little piece of tofu and no seaweed. The one server managed the whole room on his own, and did a great job. Go yo explore the sushi menu, and then do it again. Many good looking items to try!

The chicken is incredibly tender and there are some nice fatty pieces in there that add a lot of richness and flavor. Exactly what you want from a proper Hainan chicken. It comes with two sauces and both are delicious. I personally felt like it was missing a soy sauce component, but then again the ginger sauce does a great job of tying everything together so I get why they went that route. Small thing overall. I did takeout and the whole process was quick and painless. The soup that came with it was really flavorful and had just the right amount of salted elements to help cut through the richness of the chicken. A nice touch that rounded out the meal. One thing worth mentioning is that I noticed it was available on DoorDash for a bit cheaper, so if you are ordering in, that might be the move. But if you are picking up in person the experience is smooth either way. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Very solid, especially coming from an LA Native

I took my friend here to eat with me during the end hours of the Georgetown Carnival around 8:30pm…read moreafter hearing my friends tried here earlier in the day and vehemently recommending it to me. For it being less than half an hour before closing, it was packed inside, with two sections of seating for various group sizes, and a casually loud interior with a counter full of water jugs and glass cups in front of a nice plant backdrop with the name of this place in lights. Menu serves a ton of Asian fusion dishes along with some regular entrees and a ton of cocktails and wine. From my sis's recommendation when she went, I got myself the banh mi smash burger after deciding between that and the Pho-rench dip my brother-in-law had. My friend got himself the La Vong fish sandwich, which I didn't get to try though we both did split an order of honey sriracha Brussel sprouts. - For the banh mi smash burger, think of ALL the essential ingredients of a standard banh mi sandwich; then put in a regular beef patty, throw in lemongrass beef as the other meat and add provolone cheese as a complement to the pate-mayo spread. That's what this is in a nutshell, and it tastes exactly like a banh mi sandwich as a result, only in burger form. This was an absolute hit and win for me; beef patty was juicy, condiments were fresh, lemongrass beef was equally as juicy, and the side of fries made this a very filling dish! - I normally don't like Brussel sprouts because of their similar taste profile to asparagus, but I ate a ton of the honey sriracha Brussel sprouts from here. It's sweet and tangy, both of which mask the oddly earthy and bitter tones of regular Brussel sprouts. They're also roasted which further gets rid of that bitter taste I don't enjoy. We rushed a little eating since they were close to closing but we loved everything we got here! I should start keeping a list of places like this one for places I need to make a second and even third visit to for their other dishes.
