Living in Bloomfield for quite some time, there's obviously many pizzerias to choose from. This is a new find for us (we have only ordered delivery 3 times), however we are super pleased. The grilled chicken over pasta with vodka sauce is so so good...so much chicken and the sauce is one of the best vodka sauces we have had (and we've had a lot)! The pizza had a great thin crust, but not too thin and soggy that it can't hold up to toppings! So happy to find this new gem, although my waistline isn't! They are so nice when you call...definitely a try! Update: In my history of yelping, I have yet to go back and add an update! However, this place absolutely deserves praise. Tonight we order pasta with vodka sauce and grilled chicken and a pie. When it arrived we noticed they had forgotten the grilled chicken. I called back and they were super apologetic. Without me saying much, the guy on the phone immediately said that he would send someone out ASAP with another order. Our new order arrived and the great delivery guy apologized on behalf of the cook and himself. The customer service is amazing, but the food is even better!!! This place rules. When I moved to Bloomfield I was excited to try all the pizza places around me. I was disappointed in how difficult it has been to find decent pizza in this Essex county town. Cue Italia. No frills pizza done right. The dough is thin enough but it has a good chew. Got a soup too, it was just ok. Needed salt. But I won't even detract a start because, finally, good pizza. Wow is all I can say! I wanted to try a new pizza place and I called for delivery at 8:25 on a Friday night and they told me they close at 9 and can't deliver because they have other deliveries. Which on yelp and their website they say they close at 10. Way to do business!! I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years and that is not the way to make your business thrive. We literally stumbled into this place. Not too hungry but we just felt like we needed to get something to eat for 'warming ups sake'. I picked a turkey and cheese salad. I opted for the medium size but woah! the serving was so much more than anticipated. I opted for mozzarella cheese on my salad, that was a decision I regretted. Everything else was good, though the salad dressing bottles could do with a wow down. Not fancy, but it got the meal done. Oh my sister got a soup that I can't quite recall. She looooved it. This is a low key Italian restaurant although I have only eaten their Pizza. I eat here once or twice a week. Their slices are outstanding. Never again. This place is literally down the street from us. We emphasized that we were in Glen Ridge and after 20 minutes we got a call from the delivery driver and turns out he went to Montclair. We said Glen Ridge multiple times yet they still went PAST us and got lost for 20 minutes. When he finally showed up and gave us our food, everything was cold, we were missing some food and some of it was inedible. We were missing two sides of pasta plus one side salad. The calamari we got was cold, hard as a rock and rubbery. We couldnt even chew it. We called again to get the missing food and when the delivery driver returned, we gave him the calamari and told him to return it. It was that bad. When we called about the pasta, we specifically said we wanted penne. When we got it, they were both linguini. Everything eaten was mediocre and just plain bland. Pretty sure the pasta was microwaved too. Should have stuck with Naunas. read more
