My roadside assistance plan sent 3 different tow trucks to try and help me. The first never showed up. The second came but couldn't figure out how to tow my vehicle. J-team was the third company they sent. I was definitely stressed out by this point but they were so great. I told the driver all the complications of getting the vehicle out and was not optimistic that they would be able to do anything but he promised me he wasn't going to leave without helping me. And he did. He spent a good deal of time with his dispatch trying to troubleshoot and figure out solutions. He got my car out and was so incredibly kind and reassuring. If I ever need assistance again I'll definitely be calling them first. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would . DO NOT use this towing company , I advise you to go elsewhere . A ETA of 1 hr ended up being over a 2hr wait . Dispatcher was super rude , claimed to have just recently gotten my request when truly it had been made about an hr ago. Got a new ETA of 10 min , turned out to be another 30 minutes. I don't understand how this escalated to over a 2 hour wait when literally they were about 7 minutes from my location . I had asked them to waived the extra coverage due to the inconvenience of the extra wait and supervisor said no that wouldn't be possible. One of the workers was in our building today without a mask and got on the elevator with me. I immediately got off and he says it is what it is. I said no. It's not. He stayed on the elevator even though I was the one originally on it. I called the towing Company and the man I was speaking with told me they do not have to wear a mask. I said they did and it's mandated by the governor. He said that is not a law and I informed him it is. He told me they were not living their life in fear and unfortunately I was already upset with his rudeness and I said you must be a Trumper. He laughed and hung up. I do regret my name calling but he was also extremely rude and did not care that this employee was not following the rules in our residential building. You are a guest. Theses guys did not listen to me when I ordered service sending a flatbed rather than tow with a dolly. The control arm broke but no other damage. Long story of the extra damage they did trying to drag it on a flatbed. Broke the cv joint and tore the wheel hub both were ok prior to pickup. I witnessed the damage done at load but was not there to see the unload as they would not give us a ride in their cab. Saw it the next day before the shop touched it and the wheel was literally bent at a 45 degree angle. Caused an extra $1000 repair and replacement work. read more

Used their plowing service and it is the worst. Even though there may be 3 inches of snow on my driveway they claim that less than 2 inches fell and will not plow. When they do decide to plow it is very late morning (almost early afternoon) and makes it impossible to leave for work. They only care about those who pay extra for one inch removal. I find myself shoveling every snowfall when there is at least 2 inches. 6 inches fell this morning and they plowed at 10:45am while neighbors were already plowed and since I work I had to shovel entire driveway and will still be charged for their sub par removal. They NEVER clear the side of driveway either. Better to do yourself or use someone else. Update! J-team owner has terminated our contract and is asking to be paid for prior plows that I shoveled myself. Owner was unhappy he received a negative review and said it could have been handled better. Still have not gotten over the fact that this company dented and marked our garage door (over three years ago) in three places and took absolutely no responsibility when it was beyond refute that only the snowplow blade could have done the damage on those areas. Door was perfect day before. Plowed in middle of night or early next morning and door was damaged. Avoid company at all costs. It was our second or third season using company. Jason could have taken care of us UNLESS he does not bother carrying insurance. Bad. Would give zero stars if I could. Jason was friendly, competent and efficient. He took pictures of my vehicle from every angle and documented the vin on the invoice. He was sent by my auto mechanic so I didn't choose J Team, but my mechanic uses him all the time. Jason started my car with a handheld battery charger/jumper then backed it onto the street where he could load it on to a flatbed. I haven't used a towing service in over 25 years so the cost of a charge/tow was a shock. I'm sure it depends on how many miles the vehicle is towed. Super helpful! I work in the building next to theirs and was having issues with my car battery. I walked over as a last resort to see if they might let me borrow jumper cables. If I could give this place no stars I would. First of all, the driver John took my vehicle without my consent. I came to sign papers for my car to be "released" and John approached me very rudely and immature. (I am a Hispanic female). His tone since the very beginning was very unpleasant and unacceptable. I simply asked him what were the papers I needed to sign and why and I guess I hit a nerve and his response was "I don't have time for your games" after I told him I was going to ask my insurance if it was ok for me to sign. He said he'd call the cops on me and at that point was being very racist since he is a white male and I am Hispanic. Racist white man!! Then as I was on the phone with my insurance he came up to me with "ARE YOU GOING TO SIGN THE PAPERS OR WHAT?!" EXCUSE ME?!!!!!! Unacceptable!!!! Racist!!!! His actions were NOT OKAY. The tow service was fine but their prices were not competitive. Someone from my company called to have a company vehicle towed and did not ask for a price before engaging them. When we got the towing price added on to the repair bill it was double what other companies charge. I called to discuss it and they were like that's just our charge. I pointed out that they were not competitively priced and they said well it doesn't matter we already have a PO from your repair shop so we will get paid and you have no choice. read more

I've had several plow services over the years as I needed both my house and business taken care of. On several plows I had my beautiful wood custom doors severely scratched up. I believe a snow blower was used to clear the apron area and the snowblower blade was run up the door. I called Jason and he was a complete ass about the whole deal. Estimated wait time for a tow was 90 min. When I called after 2 hours I was spoken to in a rude tone and told they were busy and would arrive soon. After another hour I called and was again, spoken to rudely and told I was now third in line. Service arrived after 6 hours... Overall, Customer service is terrible and etas are nothing but a very loose guideline. When the technician arrived he was pleasant. Unfortunately this was after the repair shop was closed and I was without a car for another whole day. I'd advise going elsewhere for towing service. read more

The guy couldn't of been nicer and more competent. He stayed with me for about an hour trying to jump my truck and was nothing but helpful.

The tow truck driver came when expected, however, he was very muddy and didn't think through that I could pay first and go inside on a cold, rainy day in January (I had to suggest it after waiting it out for 10 minutes). He promised he would call when my car reached the shop but he didn't. When I got my car back from the shop, the inside of my car had mud all over the outside of the driver door, the dash, steering wheel, inside door and the place I left my keys. The shop will remain unnamed because they did not have to get inside my car and were professional. I called J-Team to explain my predicament and asked them to simply make it right by crediting me $20 to have my car washed. I spoke with someone who seemed to deny any fault of his driver "This has never happened before. I don't think it could possibly be our driver..." but he seemed to understand my perspective and promised to look into it by calling the shop to see if it was their fault and call me back. I want to emphasis that I avoid confrontation to a fault so while I was firm, I was also cool headed I figured everyone's working hard here, let's just make it right. Unfortunately, J-Team dropped the ball, never called me back, and I've had the interior of my car washed and the mud reappears after wiping several times, we can't seem to get it off. read more

Completely unreliable. Had to use them because of insurance purposes after I was in an accident. I had never heard of them until I had to use them. Let me say, I will never use them. They left my car sitting in a lot when they were supposed to pick it up. The lot where my car was, closed by the time they got there, same with the body shop it was supposed to be taken to.
