We had an awesome time at Jackie's Cafe! The Egg Foo Young sandwich was full of flavor, and the blueberry French toast was fluffy and delicious. We'll definitely be back!

This is a neighborhood gem! We drove from Chicago specifically for this experience. It's a nice simple interior with a bakery store around the back. Customers seem to be of all ages and the owner is very active in community. I hear it can get busy after church on Sundays. So, plan your schedule accordingly:) There's an outdoor seating area that was closed for the winter. The food and service was great:)

Jackie's Cafe was very yummy! We ordered a variety of items and all were very tasty. My chicken Caesar salad was massive and only $12, which definitely can't be beat. French toast was exceptionally delicious. Would definitely recommend! Side note, if you get cold easily I would highly recommend a sweater/ jacket. The service was very good! We had two male servers that assisted us and seemed to be very attentive to everyone throughout the restaurant.

1/2 order blueberry French toast looked great

Bright cozy space with knowledgeable wait staff. Blueberry French toast looked great. Texture was light and fluffy but only a few berries baked in it- no berry flavor. Bacon was perfectly cooked and delicious. Belgian waffle was fine. Sausage was a bit dry. Hash brown potatoes were super gummy. Coffee is extremely strong.

Charming little diner with big flavor and a lovely chef. The bacon is cooked perfectly chewy, and the service is great. It's a small, busy spot ideal for couples. The menu is small, but there's something for everyone.

Jackie's is the best for Breakfast and lunch. She does a great job if you need someone to cater for a party or wedding.

Such a cute cafe! Delicious food and coffee with an adorably decorated interior…read more My family and I visited Issa Vibe on the way through to Union Pier. When entering the restaurant we were immediately greeted by staff and were advised to grab a menu from the nearby wall. Orders are placed at the counter, food and coffee. They also provide an estimate on wait-time for coffee and food based on level of orders currently placed. We were given a buzzer and advised that our name would be called for both coffee and food. The bourbon vanilla Madagascar latte was delicious, I loved that the coffee flavor was not overpowered by homemade coffee syrup. The paninis were delicious and very filling! They come with a side salad or kettle chips.

The girls ordered a Vanilla Matcha and a Birthday Cake Latte, and both were delicious. We also shared three paninis, and every single one was divine! I especially loved that they accommodated my dairy-free and pork-free request. I ordered the Pesto & Egg Panini with chicken, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly savory. The atmosphere, drinks, food, and customer service were all top-notch. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town! 10/10--worth the drive from Chicago!

Although we noticed the portion sizes are slightly smaller, our meals were outstanding and the service was great. They even have an indoor atrium with fake windows, which was a pretty cool touch! I started with their tropical unsweetened iced tea, which was incredibly refreshing and delicious. As someone who eats gluten-free, I was thrilled to see how accommodating they are. They offer GF pizza and pasta, and other GF items are clearly marked on the menu. I asked our server about their cross-contamination protocols for the pizza, and she was super reassuring: they use a fresh pan and change their gloves, even though it goes into the same oven. I built my own pie with red sauce, cheese, and hot honey, and it was absolutely fantastic. My husband ordered a regular Detroit-style pizza and said it was delicious. They even have a few GF dessert options on the menu, but we were way too full to try them this time. We will definitely be back!

We grabbed a beer and a glass of wine at the bar while we waited. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about this restaurant. It's open, welcoming, and full of personality. I loved all of the dog photos throughout the restaurant and their "Sit. Stay. Eat!" theme, it gives the place such a fun, relaxed vibe. The menu is awesome, I honestly had a hard time deciding because everything sounded so good. We started with the truffle fries and they were incredible. For my entrée, I chose the grilled red snapper tacos, they were delicious. The fresh pineapple salsa paired perfectly with the fish, and I especially loved the pickled red cabbage on top. The snapper was grilled perfect. My husband and daughter shared the grilled shrimp po'boy which turned out to be a great decision because it's a generous-sized sandwich. They both liked the Cajun remoulade sauce and the soft telera roll it was served on. They also ordered a side of onion rings. My son enjoyed the cheeseburger from the kids menu. Our server was friendly and attentive. The Stray Dog has great food, a fun atmosphere, and excellent service. It's easy to see why it's such a popular spot. We will definitely be back the next time we're in New Buffalo!

It's been a minute since I've written a review!…read more David's is always a must whenever I'm in New Buffalo. I don't care where I'm staying, I always try to stop in for a mocha. Even if I'm driving through and somehow get close to Chicago early enough in a Sunday, I will stop here! They have the best iced mocha as mentioned above. I like it very lightly sweetened with regular milk. The owner seems to always take my order and takes it with care. She goes easier on the syrup since she can always add more but they're perfect every time. That's why we always have to make a stop! I also love getting a half order of lox with all the fixings on a multigrain slice. It's perfection every time! And a side of bacon is crispy every time. Oh...they make the best chocolate chip cookies EVER!!! Like ever!!!! Crispy, gooey amazing and omg if you toasted them...dangerous. Lots of great baked items to choose from. Yummm!! Get there early for the best selection. If they're open, make the stop in! You don't regret it. There's a reason lines are long. Support local too.

I made a 6:30pm reservation and noted the occasion, and the staff sweetly sat us right by the window with a stunning view of Lake Michigan. I started the night with an Aperol Spritz. While their menu doesn't explicitly label items as gluten-free, I had called ahead and knew they could accommodate me. The appetizer options were a bit limited, so we shared the Brussels to start, followed by the corn and tomato risotto for my main, which was delicious. Our server was relatively new but incredibly attentive, even making sure to double-check with the kitchen that everything was safely GF. They offer multiple gluten-free options for mains and desserts, including GF pasta. We shared the ricotta cheesecake, and our server also brought out a complimentary chocolate mousse with orange slices and a birthday candle.
