I plan on coming here for almost every special breakfast meal. The food is always good, the service is always good, and I haven't been here and become disappointed. A really good, of the strip place for breakfast. I've found there's not a lot of places to grab breakfast on the strip, unless you're talking a buffet. Too many people still asleep I guess. But if you stay off the strip and are looking for a non-cookie cutter restaurant Jamms is it. I had the eggs Benedict, which was perfect, and my girlfriend had the steak and eggs. We split a strawberries and cream pot of bread which is really a must if you go here. Service was friendly and fast. Prices were reasonable. We'll definitely come back on our next Vegas trip. I have been to this hole in the wall several times now and I am always pleased and satisfied with what I choose. First let me mention there are a ton of options so it may take you awhile to choose. Also the portions are large-size so come with an appetite or be prepared to take leftovers. I was please to find they added tapas portions, smaller plate styles at half the cost. This particular time I got the Rueben omelette (corned beef,sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese.) The tender corned beef really went well with the tangy sweetness of the sauerkraut. Also I got the pot of bread (cinnamon and raisin with side of cream cheese icing) yummy! They did come out with a pistachio pot of bread I'm dieing to try. When you check in on yelp they give you a free pot of bread but they said they were out of pistachio which is odd because they offered it to the table next to us so I don't know. Nonetheless my meal was great. Now my boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs. I warned him about ordering steak at a place that doesn't really specialize in that bc you can't expect much from a small breakfast joint but he took the risk lol. Of course I was right the steak looked like a chewed up oversized piece of bacon. He said it was tough, chewey, and tasted kind of like an old belt. However the scrambled eggs were plain and to be expected. The pancakes were really good and fluffy. Overall everything was great on my behalf and you cant beat the cost we spent under $30. So...after the servers stopped kissing all the regulars, I was able to nom on some very delicious food. Prices reasonable. Food delicious! Servers VERY friendly. On a side note, I would highly suggest that the owners expand into the vacant space next door. I would also get rid of the booths and replace them with small tables. It didn't make sense to me that two people sit in a 6-8 person booth when the restaurant is busy. read more

I love this place!!! I first got to know about this little piece of breakfast heaven from my co-worker. We had breakfast here before heading to the desert to go off-roading. So let's start with the location.. It's located on Rainbow and Charleston. It's way off the Strip. But it sure is a local favorite. Then there's the food.. Big generous servings. Since I checked-in on Yelp on our 3rd. visit (this morning) we got a FREE pot of bread.. You can choose either plain, cinnamon & raisin, or the special. I chose the special which for today was Peanut Butter & Spice. It was served with what I believe is a cream cheese butter spread. Oh, it's to die for!!! We also got half a serving of their biscuits & gravy and OMG! It was delicious. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs cooked over-medium (that's how I always have my eggs). It came with hash browns and another pot of bread. This time I asked for it to be plain. And of course it did not disappoint. I finished my whole plate!!! I was so full. My fiancé ordered a Panini Bread with a side of Steak Fries and he said on his first bite, "Oh my God! This is a great Panini!" And he doesn't always pay much compliments about sandwiches.. Only the well deserving ones. All in all, our dining experience at Jamms is great as always! We shall come back again sometime soon.. This place is great! I was here for breakfast about one month ago. I like it because it is no nonsense. First of all, do not expect fancy because you're not going to get that. So what should you expect: you may have a little wait because it is that busy. You can expect good service in a diner like setting. The best part: you can expect an awesome breakfast. The menu is vast with all kinds of choices, from healthy to sinful. Everything is delicious and they will prepare to your liking. The prices are incredibly reasonable which never hurts. I came here with my family for breakfast Saturday morning around 8:30 am and it was better than I expected! 4 adults, my 6 year old & 1 1/2 year old nephew. Sat in a booth that was extremely cozy. After yesterdays encounter we wanted to revisit a friendly place that we know we can get a nice meal and great service. Jamms once again provided us with top notch service, very generous portion sizes. We joined them early in the morning for breakfast to which we were promptly seated and drink orders were taken immediately and brought out right away. Other than my wife getting a bagel instead of an english muffin, which she didn't mind getting, it was great! My drink never dropped below half full. Great staff and great food. Was really looking forward to my usual Irish skillet but about broke a tooth on a rock or pit the size of a small pea. Luckily tooth was ok but did sent it back for a new skillet. The waitress was very apologetic and told the manger what happened. The one star rating was not for the hard pit in my skillet but for not even a visit from the manager or an offer to give a discount. This was totally unacceptable service in my opinion. This place is a fantastic breakfast joint. My boyfriend and I usually share the chicken fried steak. It's quite a large portion, and we get the ordered split in the back so you get your money's worth because you get 4 eggs and plenty of homefries. Shirley is a great waitress. She remembers our order and treats us like family. One of the biggest perks of this place is the pots of bread. They have a regular one and then a special one daily. The blueberry lemon and cinnamon are my favorites. FYI: stay clear of the biscuits. The gravy is to die for but the biscuits taste like frozen hockey pucks. I love this place! Reminds me of when I was a kid in Ohio on the farm and my parents took us to the truck stop for breakfast. Staff is awesome and friendly and so are the customers! The food was amazing. If you have the time to return the pie plate, DEFINITELY order one of their Strawberry/Rhubarb pies to take home! We ordered one and were surprised to find that it was made and frozen in a glass pie plate that they trusted us to return! I so wanted to order another one when we returned the plate! Worth so much more than they charged for it. We baked it as she instructed and WOW was it delicious! The Bussers are fantastic. There was a good amount of meat/egg/potato mixed together (some skillets at other places are 70% potato and few ingredients). The scrambled eggs were fresh and fluffy. Their omelets are also hefty. We jammin! The cornbeef hash is the bomb, boom! The staff is very attentive. I love the irish skillet with my eggs over medium. Tony really knows how to cook an egg to perfection. The egg white omletes are awsm too. The coffee is strong, and the french press is even stronger. OJ was good though not fresh squeezed, steak & eggs were good, biscuits were good though the gravy lacked in flavor so we left that. Hash browns came out just as ordered, nice & crispy. Knick-knacks and country sayings adorn the walls, and the staff treats you like you're in their house. Try the Texas Omelette (with chili con carne and cheddar cheese) or if you're daring, the White Castle Omelette (with ground beef and grilled onions -- yes, like a Slider!). They're famous for their "pots of bread." It's soft and doughy, and if you order the Cinnamon Raisin pot of bread, it's like eating a cinnamon roll. Jamm's is unpretentious, unassuming, honest-to-goodness mom 'n' pop little joint (the complete opposite of Hash House). Service is fast and friendly and they treat you like family (they were really accommodating to my husband's request for hard boiled eggs). The food was good solid diner fare. We ordered the eggs benedict, the chicken fried steak and eggs, and a side of corned beef hash. Everything was good, but we loved loved LOVED the house fries and the corned beef hash (which was perfected seasoned and lightly crisped). Food was reasonably priced and portions were very generous.
