The breakfast is great and the price is right. The staff are all very kind. We come back every time we are in town. We love the scrambles.

I'll start off this review to say we do not recommend and we will not be coming back here. We were in PS for the weekend and came here for a late breakfast/early lunch as a party of 4. We were told the wait would be 10-15 minutes. Wait ended up being more than 30 minutes. We did see the restaurant take precautions for COVID; however, the owner wore his mask without covering his nose (which defeats the purpose of wearing a mask) and he was walking around a lot. We were able to put in our orders once we were seated. However it continued to go downhill from there. We had a lot of time to observe what was happening around us. We noticed that several tables that were seated after us and therefore had put in orders after us would get their food served before us. We noticed that the owners and the wait staff would visit other tables and check in on them several times but they did not stop by our table at all. Our party was completely ignored. We noticed several other tables getting the same treatment as us. It seemed that the locals were the only ones that got service and special treatment as we noticed that the owner was very partial to them and would only visit their tables. If you weren't a local, he would ignore you (which I am partly glad since he wasn't wearing his mask properly). We waited for over 30 minutes for our food. We noted that the menu said to limit our dining to 1 hour. However the food took longer to get to our table than it took for us to eat it. Food was average and small for the prices that they were charging. Steak and egg burrito and tortilla burger were small. The salsa had more kick than the green chile in the tortilla burger. The tater tots were stale and not crispy at all. Our friends got the French dip and pastrami sandwiches. They were also really small and they messed up the sides. We do not recommend coming here if you are not a local. We can find better and more substantial food at lower prices. We will not be going back here. read more

I wish there was a 4.5 option but I gave 5/5 because it was so close, but not quite! The host was very friendly and we were greeted & seated quickly. Since it was a Sunday around brunch, they were definitely busier. Our server started off strong and was very sweet but could tell she maybe got overwhelmed or stuck at a different table, because she disappeared for a while. But our coffees and waters were always stilled filled by the fantastic busser... Was very impressed with him. The food took about 40 minutes, but was worth the wait. I like how the portion sizes aren't ginormous, they are really the perfect size for one meal. Our orders came out correct, even though we had quite a few modifications, and delicious. A big bravo to the cooks. Cinnamon French toast was simple but so tasty! And the machaca scramble was fantastic...Check came out promptly and card was charged quickly. Was not the best lunch I've had. The turkey melt was not made well. They toasted the sourdough bread instead of grilling the bread. It was turkey was hard and dry!!! We were at the Poodle Parade on ElPaseo,looked for a dog friendly breakfast. We were greeted here with a warm welcome! We sat down with two poodles. I can't support a restaurant that cooks its eggs in canola oil, you can't use butter? All the food we had here was very mediocre and the coffee was horrible. Sausage looks like it's McDonald's sausage, sandwich was mostly bread, breakfast potatoes were somehow hard in the middle and rubbery on the outside, an interesting combination of textures but not very pleasing to eat. read more

This place is in such a cute location, their staff deserve 10 stars and we might have come on a day where their regular chef was out but we're from LA and know what good food is all about! We came here based on their amazing reviews but this was worse then Ihop! The most bland, aweful, tasteless food we've ever had. 2 stars for their iced coffee and leomanade ONLY! and as you can see we got variations of the burritos but all of them could have been more flavorful. Their cinnamon french toast was thin slices of dense bread. Not worth the 45 minutes of wait for the food or the time or the money. read more

Chorizo and eggs breakfast was bomb... our waitress Mariela was super friendly with great customer services. Our food was hot and fresh. My wife got the machaca burrito. It was different that our regular East LA Machaca, but the meat was nice and tender with good flavor. Bloody Mary's are delicious. My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant randomly and fell in love. It's a very casual atmosphere and small inside, but has a large, beautiful patio. The staff was so friendly and the whole place seemed like it was one big family. The vibe was great in general. The food was absolutely terrific. I'm a hot pastrami sandwich fanatic and get it anywhere I can, and I can safely say that the one I had at JC's was by far the best ever! I can't wait to go back. read more

We decided to give this place a try, after reading a few reviews from fellow Yelper's and the gluten free options. It was a Friday morning and they were not to busy, so we were seated right away and given water and time to look over the menu. I noticed what I had seen on Yelp was no where to be found on the menu in front of me. The menu was short and missing the options I was looking for. I asked there server about the other items that were posted on Yelp and he stated they have a different menu for the weekends. This was disappointing and the other options sounded good, but not what I was expecting and wanted. I was looking forward to the eggs Benedict with blue crab, or corn beef hash, but they were not an option and went with the manchaca. It was flavorful and different then most places, my wife and mother in-law both had the avocado toast, one with added egg and one without. The service was great and we were constantly given coffee refills, and checked up on. We are not sure if we will return, maybe for lunch as they indicate they have gluten free options. If you decide to visit for the eggs Benedict, corn beef hash and a few other pictures I noticed, make sure to call or check the current menu. It was my mistake not doing so. read more

We tried moving an already broken bench to fit a chair and they got very upset saying "we broke it" and took 5-6 employees to come and tell us "it clearly says to not move the benches" which they covered with the menus! What a charming little spot. You can sit inside where the AC rolls, or outside on the front patio. There's plenty of parking in the back with a rear entrance. The hospitality shown by this quaint spot is remarkable and it also is shown in the clientele. Everyone was super nice. The food is obviously made with love. I ordered the hearty french dip with steak fries. The crusty baguette was the perfect amount of chewy without roughing up the roof of your mouth. When dipped into the au jus, the bread becomes an explosion of full flavor. The roast beef is cooked to perfection and seemingly seems to melt in your mouth upon the first and last bites. I love this place. They are always in a good mood. They have a lovely fountain out front and umbrellas and great indoors feel as well. They make a solid Bloody Mary from a funky bar they have inside. Fantastic breakfast selections. Been coming here for years and they are always improving. It's not posh which is also nice. Sometimes cozy and friendly beats the uptight crowd trying to take selfies. Customer service was great our server was nice. The food was a different story. I had the tamale and eggs. They covered the eggs in pace picante salsa which was salty and bland at the same time. The tamale was DRY. It was flavorless and nasty. My kids had the Belgium waffles which tasted like candles and after them remaking we realized they sprinkled sugar on it that burned and that was why it had that strange flavor. I have eaten at almost every breakfast restaurant in this valley and this was the worst in terms of flavor and quality. Sticking lettuce on a plate with a Belgium waffle makes zero sense and does not cover up the flavor issues they have. Customer service was good, it was clean, the fruit was good and not mushy. I'm just shocked on how you serve a tamale that bad. It was that bad I left my entire plate of food on the table and I think the server knew not to even ask if I wanted a box. read more

She took forever to come and bring us our menu and food just for it to be mid as hell def flavorless n represents the common palm desert goer. she then pointed us out after we complained to her personally and not directly to her manager, i'm assuming to beat us to it however it was never my intention to get her in trouble only wanted to let her know that she took too long for the food to taste the way it did.
