Delicious taste and fresh meat. French fry's is soft and crunchy. It was best restaurant in my vacation in Orlando.

I gave this restaurant 5 star reviewz Personality is polite and food comes in 15 minutes. Affordable price.

I have trouble rating this place anything under a five star. My daughter and I are season ticket holders in the lower promenade for the Magic, and we have come here for dinner several times during games. It is a $66 upgrade, inclusive of tax and gratuity. This lands you a ledge seat overlooking the basket under the Ozone. You also get a full buffer until end of third quarter. The menu changes daily and has a carving station, charcuterie, sundae bar and all sorts of rotating dishes. This is comparable to a banquet at a high end function. Worth every penny in my mind. Service is good, and many are regular servers. Jeff, the manager, is always attentive and on the floor. He slaps always calls back when we leave a message for a reservation. We will continue to visit as often as we can.

What kind of restaurant only serves fans some 50+ days of the year? Well that would be Jernigans. They are open during Orlando Magic Games and Amway concerts that cater to a crowd that can afford a more expensive night out like Billy Joel or Elton John. How do you get in this venue? Well let's dish. First the Magic Fans with louge tickets get first crack at Jernigan's. You can make reservations through a website and usually for most fans that means that you can't get in until tip off at 7 pm. I tried to eat quickly at a game during the holiday season and our server was overloaded with patrons. Generally they provide superior service and if you want you can sit there through the game. The food buffet and drink service ends at the end of the 3rd quarter like other places at Amway. To get to Jernigans you take the elevator up to 4th floor and someone escorts you to the restaurant entrance. The restaurant is at the same level as all the sky boxes. I have eaten there over the last 3 years a couple times each year the food offerings seem to get better. This last time in Dec 2017 they had several chefs at the stations preparing food in batches so that everything was fresh and tasty. There is a charcuterie and cheese board, a market salad bar, usually a station with mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, pasta and some kind of homestyle food. There is a carving station, usually several vegetable, roasted potatoes and rice dishes. One night I saw poke boats and a Polynesian pork buffet with fries. The buffet hits several notes vegetarian, paleo, kids, and stuff yourself silly on protein (that would be me.) They also have a high quality dessert spread that seems to be made in house including sundaes. They really mix it up each time so that it is a whole new spread (remember they are not open everyday so they have time to plan.) There are three seating levels. 2 levels of ledges where you sit at a counter and face the court or a third table level which is near the buffet. I think they are now charging an extra $10 to sit on the lower ledge level where everyone is facing forward towards the court. This is not all that conducive for a group unless your single focus is the event and you want to climb 2 short sets of stairs. Are there better restaurants in town? Probably but the combination of a great buffet and the view of the game or concert can't be beat. Only a couple downsides. Only once did I see a tshirt launcher hit this level and you are not as engaged with Stuff the Magic Mascot and the rest of the fans that you get with a regular seat.

So it was kind of hard to find information about this restaurant online. This restaurant is located inside the Amway Center and on their website there is an article about it but otherwise really no information. There is a spot where you can make reservations but nothing as far as price was included menu, none of that. My friend won a silent auction and got a pair of tickets to have dinner at Jernigans before a Magic game and I was his lucky plus one. We were both excited because we've heard great things about it but totally sure what to expect. There are two seatings, 530 and seven, we got the 530 seating so we had to be done by 6:45 or seven to allow the next group of people to come in. If you have the 7 o'clock seating you can stay at your table for the duration of the game and the seats are awesome. You're right up against the edge and there's great view of their court. As for the food, everything was excellent! The night that we went they had lemon pepper chicken, pot roast, mashed potatoes, fried fish, veggies, carving station with pork (it was a little dry), a salad bar and a small charcuterie area. Oh yeah! They have a build your own sundae bar, which was a lot of fun. The price for our meals was $47 (alcohol not included) a person, I believe it's more like 65 if you do the 7 PM but it's definitely worth it and anyone that has a ticket to the game can go no matter where your seats are. My advice would be to buy the cheapest ticket you can and make a reservation for the 7 PM Dining and then sit there the whole time and watch the game from great seats!

Update 3/25/19. See new pics. Better food and selection Season ticket holder. Upgraded to eat at Jernigans (buffet); must have game seats to eat at Jerningans Price $60 for front row seating at 7. Those are your seats for the game. For $50, you can get first come, first serve seats. Plenty of seating but I assume high priority teams could be packed. Went against Suns on 12/26/18. No problems with seating and arrangements. *Note - upgrade reservations include food and wster. No soda or alcohol. But Magic Bucks are good. Food is served until the end of the 3rd quarter Service - 5 stars. Friendly. Helpful. Attentive with plates and drinks and water refills. Food 3-4 stars depending. Decent amount of options. See first pic. Chicken was real good and tender. Antipasto - good and plenty. No bread just crackers Baked ziti - bland. Cold which was weird even after a fresh plate Nachos platter was good. Tasty Salads- had Thai. Dressing was good. Veggies - Califlower , sweet plaintains, roasted sweet potatoes. Can't go wrong Meat - prime rib- waited to long. Got the end fatty pieces. Waiter says its 5 star food --. Uhhh no. But better thrn aberage buf View - 5 stars. Great view of game. Easy access to food Overall- 4 stars. $60 is a bit steep but for an anniversary dinner, enjoyed it. .

Loge seating - a great spot for a classy view of the game!

Honestly, I'm somewhat surprised by the low ratings that some people have given to this place on here. I've been here twice for Magic games and the bottom line is this: you're going to get some good, not great, food, but more importantly you're going to get a great view of the game, especially if you plan it right. It is located on the Club Level, but here's the most important part: you can come here if you have ANY ticket to the game. Just make a reservation and go up to Club Level and tell the entrance staff that you're there for the restaurant and they'll send you over. After that it is a pretty easy process of getting in. There are a bunch of seatings, but I think ones before the game may be limited to Club Level people or people with certain kinds of tickets. That is immaterial though because the best seating is the one that starts at tipoff of the game. That's what you want to get, as they will let you sit at your table for the entire game, during which you get unlimited food up until the end of the 3rd quarter and service straight to your table for drinks (they have a full bar, including wine bottles). The food here is served buffet style so you can get as much as you want. The pricing is around $40-60/person depending on the day. They have a broad range of food offerings so you are bound to find at least something you will like. The menu appears to change somewhat every time you come here. I always tend to go with whatever beef/steak offering they have as that always tends to be on point. The other items are very hit or miss - there were some items I absolutely disliked but some that were good. You shouldn't expect high end steakhouse style food here; however, the food is certainly a step up from other places in the arena. The most impressive part of the food offerings seems to be the dessert, but make sure you get it early on because they run out of or pull some of the dessert items before the end of the 3rd. Service here was excellent. I recommend arriving early as it is far easier for them to get you optimal seating at that point. We showed up about 15 minutes early before tip-off and requested Loge seating (the row of seats that directly faces the game - easily the best view you're going to get and very comparable to any Club Level seat) and they had no problems getting those for us. (Your other options would be booth or table style seating but you won't be directly facing the game; those are probably better if you don't intend to stick around the whole game). Our server during the game was great - very attentive, came around a lot, and even made a "save" for us when we accidentally left a Magic shirt that we had won behind, by hanging onto it till we inevitably came back to get it. Overall - if I was rating based on the food only I'd have gone with 3 to 3.5 stars, but the good service and the great atmosphere/view merits an overall rating of at least 4. A great place to watch the game from - and a great deal if you get cheap tickets to the game, as you could end up spending as little as $60-70 for the functional equivalent of Club Level seats with unlimited food along with it. If you compare that to Club Level pricing for tickets you're either breaking even or ahead, with the bonus of unlimited food.

We started with the She Crab Soup, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I then ordered the Dirty Rice Entrée, and wow--what an explosion of flavors! It reminded me of a New Orleans-style paella, loaded with perfectly seasoned dirty rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, and an incredible depth of flavor in every bite. My husband began with the French Vegetable Soup, which he described as magnificent, followed by the Short Rib Sliders, which were tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For dessert, we indulged in the Peach Cobbler à la Mode, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was decadent, comforting, and the perfect ending to the meal. To top it all off, we enjoyed a frothy cappuccino served with a rock candy sugar stick--a beautiful finishing touch. The food, presentation, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We can't say enough good things about our experience and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

I know there are a few locations but we planned to stop at this location specifically during a last min birthday staycation (but not *on* my brthday) If you look online this routinly is on lists of date night and good group dining spots and there will inevitably be a ton of people in the comments complaining about it being "mid" or "basic" but that wasn't our experience at all. We had a great experience here. We initially booked for the first time of our staycation but called last min to push back a few days as I wasn't feeling very well. It was no issue at all and they changed our reservation without issue or complaints & wished me well. The space is really cool. MCM in design with a touch of California beach bungalow. We were seated in a back room with a view of the lake behind. It was a bit loud but most places are these days. I am deaf in one of my ears so one I told our server & she spoke up over the noise and it was a non-issue. Appreciated because that's not always the case. We ordered a glass of wine and the "Shirley After Dark" cocktail (I know it's a wine bar but I just felt like a cocktail) loved it. Would absolutely order it again. We ordered the house salad which was far from basic and delicious and fresh. Very light and decent size. My husband also aired the Cauliflower app which was massive. The hummus was delicious. I'm not a fan of cauliflower but he raved about it. We also split the Butchers Pizza and had them out the hot honey on the side. I can't do spice after destroying my stomach in college so they brought me a side of normal honey so I could hector full flavor profile within my dietary needs. We got to speaking with our server whose name I unfortunately can't remember (light blonde shoulder length hair if management reads this) & she was very knowledgeable about the wine selection. We're not white wine drinkers but the FL heat is a little too much for a glass of red most days so we're trying to get into it. She had 3 recommendations and brought me all three to taste. Unfortunatly I enjoyed was sold out by the time we ordered it (which at the height of tourist summer isn't beyond the realm of reasonability) We then ordered the affogato and olive oil cake. Both were delicious. It was my husband's first time trying an affogato and it has since become a favorite of his. It was mentioned in passing while chatting that we were in a last min staycation as it was my birthday week and we didn't plan anything in advance and made it clear it was not my birthday but she still comped my cocktail and the olive oil cake and wrote a lighthearted "sorry we were out of the wine" on our receipt. Which was a genuinely nice & unexpected gesture. The entire meal was quite affordable even before anything got comped compared with other options of the same caliber in the area. Portons are quite large as well. While I don't love communal tables typically, almost no one was seated at the same table and if they were it was quite far apart (see photos). I can see that being bothersome on a busy night but we were there on a summer night (busy enough to run out of a wine) so I can't imagine it being typically worse than that So I say again, I don't understand what people don't like about this place. We'll be back.

There were plenty of fun activities for the kids and there was an all-you-can-eat buffet for the kids with fried chicken and shrimp, macaroni and cheese, fries, and red velvet cupcakes. $25 is a deal if your child would chow down on shrimp, but it might not be a great deal if your child is usually full after four bites. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My husband didn't love his heirloom tomato salad and said the Wagyu appetizer was disgusting. Dessert was mediocre. The macarons that accompanied my crème brûlée were stale and chewy. For a simple meal for two people, the service was unreasonably slow throughout the evening. Our server, Svet, was polite and personable, but friendliness alone could not make up for the delays. The hummus appetizer was excellent and was easily the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful and served with pita, cucumbers, carrots, and red peppers. The food presentation overall was attractive and showed promise. The most serious issue occurred when my son ordered a refill of his virgin mojito and was served a drink containing alcohol. He immediately noticed something was wrong after taking a sip and handed it to me. I tasted it as well and confirmed that it contained alcohol. Serving alcohol in a child's drink is a significant mistake and should never happen. We also ordered the steak frites based on a recommendation and were told it was exceptional. Unfortunately, the steak was extremely tough and chewy, making it difficult to eat and far from what was described. Management apologized and removed the steak from the bill, but the combination of excessive wait times, the alcohol mix-up involving a minor, and the disappointing entrée left a poor overall impression.

The fries were also cold and hard, so that side definitely missed the mark. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but it also was not one that would make me rush back. The restaurant seemed understaffed. there were only one waiter and waitress working the entire time we were there. I would not try again.

The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. We can't wait for our next trip to Orlando and our next visit back.

The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong!

The corn beef empanadas was surprisingly yummy, I didn't think it would be very yummy but it was. The brussel sprouts we always get because it's the best bussels ever. I usually get the chicken pad Thai because who doesn't love pad Thai, it wasn't too sweet which I prefer. My hubby got the curry, its very favorable but would have been well balanced with rice. The puff rice is not enough to balance the flavor of the curry. Our service was great! Always attentive but too attentive, our waiter always made sure our waters were filled and if we needed anything.

The restaurant was extremely busy, so I expected a bit of a wait. However, the service was much slower than expected. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and one of the four kids' meals we ordered never came out. After waiting around 45 minutes, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, the manager approached us and immediately became argumentative about how many kids' meals had been ordered. I wasn't looking for a confrontation--I simply wanted the missing meal. I actually had to stop the conversation and tell him that if he came over just to argue, I wasn't interested. That interaction really left a bad impression. As for the food, it was a mix of highs and lows. The blue crab dip was easily the standout of the meal--rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It's absolutely worth ordering. The edamame was also well prepared and made for a great appetizer. Unfortunately, the gnocchi was the complete opposite. It arrived ice cold, lacked flavor, and was one of the most disappointing entrées I've had. For roughly $45 between my meal and wine, I expected a much better experience. While I appreciate that they offered a Kids Eat Free promotion, the long wait, missing meal, and poor handling of the situation overshadowed that benefit. The restaurant itself has a sleek, contemporary atmosphere that's great for groups or families, but the lack of attentive service and the manager's approach to customer concerns made the experience far less enjoyable. I hope they've improved since my visit, because the blue crab dip alone deserves recognition, but based on this experience, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.
