I've ordered through the mobile app six times and today was the straw that broke the camel's back. Every single time we have ordered, there has been an error usually minor like lettuce when we asked no lettuce or no mustard when we asked for mustard, etc. Nothing too major. Today I ordered through the mobile app (I always order at least 30 mins prior bc it's usually busy unless it's weekdays) I put "kids" as a note on one of the regular size sandwich (they usually don't put the names anyway so you have to open them all but I'm optimistic). Pick up the order. Get on the boat and go to pass out sandwiches and notice the "kids" regular is mini size. I paid for a regular and it says regular on the app but I got a mini. Now the mini isn't big enough for two kids so now I'm 20 mins into a tantrum with both kids. If you think using the mobile app will save time or make things easy which is why I order from Mike's don't do it or else you too could be stuck on a boat with two young's kids throwing a fit bc they don't have food on a beautiful sunny day on Big Bear Lake. You have been warned by numerous reviews and now I add another. Don't do it. I won't coming back to this location. Oh and the best part I tipped so I paid extra this experience. although the food tasted very good, the staff was terrible. The one bigger white lady was in the front comparing about colleague call offs from the jump, that part I didn't care about because I get you just need to vent sometimes ( I work retail so I know how short staff can be stressful) but when she finally asked me how I wanted my sandwich she was RIDICULOUSY rude and got very annoyed with me that I didn't know what "mikes way" meant. Even when my boyfriend tried to make a joke with her regarding our payment, she looked at him with a really nasty look. should probably find another job girly. Terrible service!! To call them rude, would be a compliment! First, everyone looked like they came from a rave. My son and i felt weird being the only people in the entire building without a nose piercing‍. Second the first girl said "what do you want?" Which is crazy in itself. Next, I asked the guy that was assembling my sandwich for ez lettuce and xtra onions and only 4 squirts each of v &o, but I guess he couldn't hear me since he was wearing air pods. So, I didn't get any of that. And lastly, I ask for the sandwich to be cut into 6 pieces instead of the usual 4 which is never a problem at any other JM's, but before I could get the words out, she already cut it and when I asked about it, she mouthed "whatever". Terrible service. Walked into the store at 5:30 and was told that they ran out of bread at a sandwich store... Was told to wait 15 minutes. Waited 15 minutes and went to the line at 5:45. Waited another 15 minutesn the line and they were still on the same customer... Decided to order my single sandwich online through the app and chose the asap time at 6:15. Asked for my order at 6:17 and they said mine was being made and to wait. Waited another 15 minutes to 6:30 and asked again but they said mine was next. Truly disappointed with this Jersey Mike's location. Usually Jersey Mike's is a go-to meal choice for myself and my family, however this time, it was disgusting. We ordered online, about 7 sandwiches. Once we got there, 2 of our sandwiches were not made yet although there were about 7 employees standing around. They stared at us for about 10 minutes until they asked if we needed anything else, so they made our other sandwiches that we previously ordered for us. 4 of the 7 sandwiches were incorrectly made with items that we hadn't even ordered, one of which had RAW bacon on it. Just disappointing. This has become a mainstay of "I forgot my lunch." but lately it's been stale, extremely crumbly bread (in other words, old), bad, extremely low-energy attitudes inside... I don't know. Just off. Not what it was when it opened. I recently discovered Jersey Mikes a few months ago. Excellent hoagies! I now stop here for lunch every other week, and the hoagies are the best around for the West coast. Shop is always clean, and the staff is always friendly, efficient, and chill. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a fresh sandwich! My bad for not noticing on the app that this locations requires 40 minutes for pick-up; but when I walked in after 25 minutes, the girls scolds me for being 20 minutes early, & then takes the orders and they prep the food for the 4 people in line in the store- BEFORE she starts mine. Had steak and cheese sandwich. They claim to be better than subway. First time I had one, was very good. Had one recently prepared by a man with longer black hair. The steak is cooked to order, unfortunately when he pulled the steak off the grill for my sandwich, he pulled a lot of grease and moisture with it. The bread was soaked in grease, making the bread soggy. They also slice their meat and cheese with the same slicer without cleaning in between. Gross-contaminating all meats and cheese. Does not appear to be very healthy. I would not eat there again, if this is the type of subs they serve. read more

I came in here a couple of weeks ago while in Big Bear for a vacation and I just wanted to give this staff a massive shout-out. In the 30 minutes that I was there, they had to ask easily 10 people to please put on their masks. Three different customers were so incredibly inconsiderate to them and treated them very poorly. It was really sad to see since the staff was so kind but also, no one should have to be treated that way, especially when it's for health & safety measures. Working in the service industry, particularly during a pandemic, is very challenging and I think the staff here are doing an incredible job. I hope they're able to stay safe and that customers treat them with more respect moving forward. read more

They've made no attempt to train their employees to do more than stand around. Another business taking advantage of a town that doesn't have many similar businesses to compete against (in the fast sandwich market). Eventually they won't last. This is a blatant safety violation and this place needs to have the health inspector come check them out. Jersey Mike's is the best chain sub shop around as far as I'm concerned. It is disappointing to see they dropped the Reuben sandwich, though. I suppose people's tastes are changing and the good old Reuben didn't make the cut. Instead, they now have about 10 different cheesesteaks. Not sure why they find it necessary to have so many, but I assume it's to make their menu look bigger than it actually is. Instead of real variety, they just use the same ingredients to make variations of the same sandwich. Regardless, they still make some of the best chain sandwiches you can find. I like the Club Sub, Mikes way (hold the tomatoes), add cherry pepper relish. If I am ordering in a shop, I have them swap out the regular mayo for chipotle mayo. Its a nice change from the regular. Too bad you can't request it on the app. Their app isn't the greatest. They need to fix some things, like customization, and their pick up times. I ordered through the app on a Wednesday at 2pm. My pick up time was 45 minutes later. Huh? What's the point of offering online ordering if the pick up time is so far out, especially at non-peak hours? I drove there right away to get my sandwiches and found an empty store and my sandwich order sitting off to the side, not ready. I had to ask them to make my order despite them not being busy. It's a terrible system. The next visit, I skipped the app since it was actually lunch time. I can't imagine what the pick up time would be when they are busy. Sure enough, there was a line 5 or 6 parties deep. At Jersey Mike's, this can take a while since they insist on slicing meat and cheese to order for every sandwich. It's a nice touch, but completely unnecessary. I got in line and got my sandwiches in about 15 minutes. Some women who had ordered online were waiting off to the side the entire time I was there. Some of their party already had their sandwiches because they ordered in store. The ones who ordered online were screwed. I wished them luck on my way out. This jersey mikes had to be the worst one ive visited ever , not because of the food but because of the wait and service that i received today .. let me start by saying that when i walked in there was like 8 people in front of me which is not that big of a deal because the lines in these kind of places usually move fast right ?? Can't believe the remarks I've seen. Were these people actually at this Jersey Mike's? Anyway, terrific food and fantastic staff. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and man was it amazing. The guy who cooked it for me is named Eddie. Great job Eddie. Was bomb. And the person who took my money was Savana and she was so dang sweet. Just a small town feel and I love it. The manager Ian was so cool as well. Just a fun group. Ian has me laughing a bit. Such a good dude. The whole staff rocks and the food is just as good.
