I've learned that you can't order subs online especially with jersey mikes, there's always employees that don't care at all about their service, it's either they get the toppings wrong on you get skimpy sandwiches that are pretty much just bread and lettuce like the one I just paid $25 for.... don't be mad when you have customers watching and directing the employees as they make the food because look what trust gets me! Always a fan of Jersey Mike's, and this place is one of the better ones! The customer service is excellent here, everyone is very friendly. Quality is consistent with the rest of the chain, this location has outdoor seating, which on a nice day is always a good option, however this is Chatsworth, so if the wind is blowing the right direction you will get a whiff of horse country :-D One pro tip: they label the unsweetened tea as "unsweetened" but the sweet tea is not labeled. He waited 30 mins while everyone else that walked in got their orders. I was waiting outside and came in to see what was going on. I noticed everyone walking in and out with food. The girls were all rude and unhelpful. I asked why it was taking so long they said they had a lot of orders.. yet people who walked in to order were served right away. I ask another girl and she looks and sees that my order was just sitting there the whole time. None of them bothered to look. I'm tired of wasting money and time here. For pickup orders the staff does not make sandwiches correctly with specific direction. Countless times I've had to return to the store because the sandwich was made incorrectly (I have a gluten/dairy intolerance). I have also gone back because they have given me someone else's order (twice). Word of advice if you are ordering for pickup, ignore the time they tell you. Chances are you will have to wait 10-20 minutes longer because they won't be done/haven't started the order. This store needs to get its act together. I get the staff is young and this is just a Jersey Mikes and nothing special, but this is quite literally the worst run food chain I have experienced. Step it up management and staff. read more

Before the coronavirus, I would roll to this location since it's right across the street from where I live. I'm a C7 quadriplegic and have been told by my doctors to stay inside because I have a compromised immune system. I placed an order through the website in which DoorDash was the delivery service. I left specific instructions for the driver to leave the food at my door because of my condition, but doordash left the bag with 4 sandwiches and 3 sandwich cards (because of a previous order problem) by a gate at the back of my complex which A)is nowhere near the actual entrance to the building and B) impossible for me as a quadriplegic in isolation to even go get. Now I've contacted DoorDash through their online chat and was told that because I ordered it through Jersey Mike's website that I would have to get my food remade or a refund through Jersey Mike's. I have all the documentation and pictures of the conversation with DoorDash as well as the picture the driver took of where he left the food. Please send me a email I can send those pictures to. So now when I called the jersey Mike's I ordered from (store #20039) John an employee was extremely friendly and understanding and was going to remake the sandwiches and bring them over. But then he contacted the store manager, Ebber, And he was instructed to only offer me a refund. Which since it was my only option, I took. Now it's two hours later and I have no food for the whole night and Ebber is treating me like it is MY fault. I had nothing but great experiences in the past except for a couple of messed up sandwiches, but the staff has always been friendly and very helpful. It hurts me to have to write a yelp review explaining this but Jersey Mike's is saying it's DoorDash fault and DoorDash is saying it is Jersey Mike's responsibility. P.S. Karin and John have been extremely helpful as much as they possibly can but I would reconsider your relationship with DoorDash if they are unable to follow simple instructions during the coronavirus pandemic for your disabled customers. I ordered a Tuna Sub and it was a complete disappointment. First, they put so little tuna on sandwich I almost had to lick it off the bread to get any. Secondly, the little tuna that was in sub simply tasted awful, so maybe that's why they put so little tuna in sub because of the awful taste. I hate to say this, but Subway's tuna is even superior to Jersey Mike's and at a cheaper price no less. These guys are really cool. I've been to a few other Jersey Mikes in different cities but these guys products taste the freshest of them all. I've even had another person tell me that themselves without my influence. Their food is fresh, staff has always been nice with me since I've gone in. Their sandwiches are what you expect but I'm not a fan of their ruben. For some reason it just never tastes good at any of their locations and i'm a big ruben fan. Another small issue is that parking here is a b***h. This shopping center is always busy which makes it very difficult to find parking for any establishment in this shopping center. I don't remember I had already written a review but if I did disregard all that. When I first came in here a month or 2 ago I thought for whatever reason the sandwiches were good but not all that. Maybe because I didn't order them mike's way. Duh! Well ever since I been coming back on a consistent 2-3 times a week. Not yet have I been disappointed by any of their sandwiches or there service. The staff is always friendly greets you the moment you pull that door. Even the time I walked in at 8:55 pm when they had Already cleaned everything I felt so bad but were still smiling regardless of the fact I was that last jerk in. Dropped food on the floor, stepped on it and served it to customer. We arrived at 11:25am and ordered sandwich. It took a almost 30 minutes. Meanwhile the kitchen was in complete disarray. Food, including meat was dropped on the floor. At least 3 customers observed the staff picking up both bread and meat, bag it and give it to an unwitting customer. We love Jersey Mike's a d have had it at multiple locations. We came here this evening and ordered four Giants. The workers moved super slow. It took forever to finally place my order and there was a line forming when the worker to customer ratio should have provided ample co erage to prevent any long waits. The employees seemed uninterested and under the influence of something for sure. Once we finally sat down to eat the sandwich bread was very dry. We ordered them Mike's Way but there was barely any sauce (okive oil and red vinegar I think is what it is) and certainly not enough to accommodate for just how dried out the bread was. Terrible service. I live around the corner from this Jersey Mike's Subs and every other week I stop in at dinner time and get a sub because I bring it to a regular event. Last night after months of frustration I gave up and got a sandwich from one of the numerous alternatives in the area. When this place first opened service was great but in the last year it has gotten worse and worse. I used to see the owner and now I never do. Here are some of my experiences: 1. Wrong sandwich. Ok this can happen but should not. I always have to check that the sandwich is right if I ordered it on the phone 2. Phone off the hook. Staff takes the phone off the hook at dinner time so you can't order in advance 3. Slow prep times. I used to be able to call from my house, get in my car and pick up my sandwich. Now they tell me ready in 20 minutes. 4. Sandwich not ready. Twice recently I ordered 20 minutes in advance and when I got there the sandwich was not started. 5. Employees hanging out in back. I come in and no one is out front. Wait and wait. Finally one person comes out and ignores me for several minutes. 6. Out of wheat bread. Staff can't seem to properly plan what bread they will need. 7. Not following directions. I always ask for 'light' oil and vinegar but can't count on getting a sandwich that isn't drenched. read more
