Sandwiches are tasty, online ordering is usually convenient. , make sure you check your order. Arrived home with no chips or cookies. And, it's not the first time it has happened. Update: Online ordering continues to be problematic. Previous three orders of the #9 - which includes bacon - had NO BACON. So, I went in last week and ordered the #9 and watched as they started to wrap it up with - you guessed it - NO BACON! My husband just brought today's online order home. The #11 with extra Provolone has -you guessed it - NO CHEESE. Yes, I am hangry! UPDATE: 1/26/20 - Issues continue. I clearly stated in my online order to replace ham with pepperoni and salami. I walked in and 3 employees are talking by the grill. I wait and after 2 mins of standing I walk over and then 2 of them walk to the back still haven't even acknowledged me. Finally the girl comes to the front and tells the guy at the grill something and he says he hasn't ordered and finally decides to take my order. Aside from a horrible first impression. The tables were all dirty and left over crumbs. I mean it's different if it's busy but no one was there. We were so hungry and decided to go to Jersey Mike's we waited in line for 15 mins and once they took our order we had to wait another 15 mins and spent $23 and the lady /cashier didnt even know how to count ‍‍. Delicious subs and friendly staff. But they can get backed up quickly and though they have the staff to help out, it's usually just 2 people making the subs while 1 or 2 other are busy replenishing cups or something like that. There is a location that is slightly closer to home than this one but I always drive the extra half mile for the Chatsworth location. The people here are so nice and friendly! The sandwiches are always on par to the yummy Jersey Mike standards and the store is always well maintained. Today I came in just after the lunch rush and the chips were looking a little low. I asked if they had a flavor in back and they grabbed me and bag and restocked the rest of the flavors too! These folks just hired nice, friendly people and I love getting my subs here! read more

I'm tired of people trying to say Subways is better. It's just a little cheaper. Thats all good. But the same way you'd buy a crab cake from the supermarket as opposed to getting a fresh smoked salmon from a 4 star restaurant is the difference between Subway & Jersey Mike's. Subway has that pre packaged (how long has it been sitting there) meat and I'm sure you've seen the veggies section sometimes with either frost on the side from sitting in the fridge all week - month or probably week old veggies depending where you go. Jersey Mikes has fresh meats by the pound (which keeps them fresher, btw) that they cut on the spot for you. And the taste is so much better if you ask me. My old job used to order Jersey Mike's for the entire office when we'd have a lunch meeting and I instantly fell in love. I'm from New York, now living in SoCal so I tend to miss that deli-fresh hoagie or 'hero' and here's Jersey Mike's, bringing me back. (The nostalgia lasts up until I get to the register...only because the sandwiches at the bodegas in NY are only $3.00.) Nonetheless, I always get 'The Italian' from J.M.'s. Giant also. For a few dollars more I get 4 HUGE sandwiches cut from one Giant italian bread loaf. Provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni... geez! Crap, I'm making myself hungry again. I was greeted immediately as I walked in:-). Ordered 13 original Italian custom not mikes way but my way. the staff was very nice and focused on the customers as they enter the store:-). The floor was a little sticky on a rainy day but let me say in the area the food is prepared they clean constantly with five on staff and always moving. I notice customers cleaning tables to sit & not a big deal because the sandwiches rock! The guy working with four women really knows how to sell a sandwich especially for new comers asking questions and solving quickly so his customers can enjoy! After watching a workmate devour one of these subs decided to try one. Seemed a popular place on a Saturday night. Clean place, friendly staff and everything sliced fresh. Had the large classic Italian sub, Mike's way, to go. At around $13 I felt like I was carrying a brick. This is a sandwich to share or for someone VERY hungry. I like Jersey Mikes. I like the taste and quality of the product but I'm not really a fan of the employees. They're forgetful, slow, and inattentive. I work close to this location and find myself avoiding coming here due to their lack of service. Wow Jersey Mike's make the best sandwiches. I first learned of them about a year ago from work, and now my family is hooked. I used to go to the one in Northridge, by Best Buy, but the service there is kind of iffy. Several of the employees don't pay attention. When this location opened right in my neighborhood I was thrilled. The staff here are ALL fantastic. They pay attention to what you ask for!! Imagine that. lol. For $10 you get a sandwich that is quite a bit larger than Subway, or Quizno's, and with a heck of a lot more meat. Plus there is none of that "toasting" the bread, which only dries the bread out anyway. Be sure to get it "Mike's way" and you are in for a treat!! read more

When eating out, especially for lunch, in my tiny brain I weigh the deliciousness of a restaurant versus the cost. The problem with Jersey Mike's is a regular Italian with chips and a drink pushes to ten dollar mark. So while I am willing to drop in once a quarter, The food is no where near good enough to warrant the money. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the sandwiches. The bread is tasty, the cold cuts are ok. The things I don't like are the amount of meat on the sandwich. A sandwich like this should be stacked with tasty cuts. This sandwich gets a thin layer. The lettuce, I hate when a sandwich shop uses three hand fulls of shredded lettuce the make the sandwich look bigger. Lastly, the red wine vinegar is not near as tangy as the stuff I buy at the store. I would rather have half the vinegar and have it taste right. You might think it strange for a pescetarian to write a review of a cold-cut sandwich shop, but allow me to explain.... I order a tuna sub or veggie sub from this place at least once a week. There are two reasons I think they rock. Number one, the staff is really friendly and attentive, and the place is always overstaffed. There are two young guys (one black, one white) that are always there, and they are just really enthusiastic about the work, which you often don't find in males of that teenage-young twenties age. They are really on it! The second reason is how they keep their tuna. I have mild IBS, and BOTH Subway, and Brent's Deli's tuna sandwiches/subs have had me RUNNING for the restroom, and more than once. (Hard lesson learned!) I've neve I would think. This is the only place I can eat tuna besides home, so for service and freshness, this place has got it. Further, it is not unusual for the owner (Mike?) to come out and ask how everything is, if you need napkins, or just to hand you coupons for your next visit. I've never visited any other locations, but this one is really great. The "mini" sub size packs as much food as Subway's flimsy 6-inch, so don't be put off by the fact that it appears to cost more-- you do get more. read more

Great Subs!! You HAVE to get your sub "Mike's Way!" I get the Veggie sandwich every time and its delicious. Oh and they have my favorite chips: Garden Salsa Sun Chips! Woot-woot! Nobody has those! Service was a bit slow but what I didn't like was how skimpy the sandwiches are. We live in Simi and eat at the one on Tapo monthly and get a great filling sandwich with meat actually in the sandwich. We asked for it Mike's way and they were forgetting the seasoning. I have been to several Jersey Mikes, because it is a franchise, the food is just about the same at all locations. What makes this one different is the owners and the people working there. Tom is a guy that genuinely appreciates your business and makes you feel like you are part of his family. He runs a top notch Jersey Mikes. We came in a group, and had to wait for the rest of our friends to show up. We just stood around checking out the menu while the staff stood behind their counters staring at us, asking if we were ready quite a few times. (Just because YOU know the menu doesn't mean I do...gimmie a minute!) After we were ready to order, all the employees seemed to disappear and what once was five people ready to make out food dropped to about two. Where'd everyone go!? Not being a Jersey Mike regular, I just got the Italian Mike's Way, which is only adding like four or five things to the sandwich. Weird. I like my sandwichs with more stuff on it then I can name...Dan's Super Sub style. But whatever. My sister got a turkey wrap, and the guy making it disappeared for a minute and came back with it all wrapped up and ready to go. We get outside, and it has turkey and lettuce...no one asked her if she wanted anything else on it....she did by the way. The staff was young and chatty (with each other, WHILE they served us...not cool) and seemed uninterested in making sure our orders were right or that we were happy with what we got. This place is good, but the gushy over-the-top reviews (perhaps by the owner or employees? I'm just sayin'.) need perspective. Service has noticeably improved since it opened, although there still seems to be some confusion behind the counter. The manager always seems to be teaching something new to the staff. However the service is always very friendly. The freshly sliced cold cuts are the main attraction and a huge plus. I've also had the meatball sandwich - very messy (that's a good thing) but the bread gets a little soggy - it's prepared somewhere in the back, making me thing that there is a microwave oven involved, and it's not up to the standards of San Carlo Deli on Mason. Great place, clean, professional and very tasty! I've been trying to find a decent place in Canoga Park to satisfy my Cheesestake cravings for months, tried Subway, Quizno's, a dozem mom-n-pops - all were crap. Their Cheesestake is like in-n-out's burger, it's traditional and simple, yet delicious! Unfortunately it's not as cheap :) $4.20 for a cheeseburger and fries at in-n-out compare to 6 inch Cheesestake at Jersey's for $8.00+, but at least it's worth it. Staff was very friendly too. Overall - Great Place, a must try! Can't give 5 stars, 'cause $8 for a 6 inch is a bit greedy for a fast food. Make it $5.00 and you will be next sensation, like in-n-out only for Subs! read more

These sandwiches are yummy, yes. We have tried the Philly chicken and steak, and the chicken ceasar and they were good sandwiches. Do we eat here often? No. Honestly it's just not enough bang for the buck. For my husband and myself to order two small subs, 2 chips and two drinks will run us almost $20. Not to compare...but I can get that same meal at Subway for $11. Uncle ernies has subs for cheaper and still fresh and hot. So I tried to call in and place my order ahead of time since they were 45minutes from closing to help them have a quick transaction but they told me they stopped taking orders at 7:30. An hour and a half before closing. This struck me as odd but whatever. I get in half hour before closing and I am rudely greeted and the guy yells for someone in the back as he his cleaning the grill. Kanye is blasting on the speakers and the song is dropping f bombs and talking about blow jobs. Also whatever, I'm not going to complain to them. The guy who came from the back was nice, but as I place my order they are obviously rushing me and trying to get me out. Now I am slightly annoyed but whatever. I worked in the food industry so I get how annoying it can be when you are trying to close EARLY. However I just got off a 14 hour shift at the hospital and I'm starving. I ordered mikes way dry with oil and vinegar on the side but they forgot that, and gave me a dry sandwich which I didn't notice till I got home. I need to disclose that I am a huge sub fan. I love sandwiches and could eat them every day. Having said that, I really liked Jersey Mike's. I think I've been to one in the past but don't recall. This trip I ordered a Giant Italian sub on white. It was so huge I ate it for dinner, breakfast, and lunch the next day. Most their subs are some form f an Italian (similar meats give or take a salami or pepperoni, etc) but they have hot subs and traditional subs as well. I've had the Carls' Jr. and Jack in the Box and McDonald's and such in the area, but those are chains and generally pretty consistent (though the tea varies WILDLY from one Jack in the Box to the next). I know what Togo's and Subway and Quizno's have to offer, so Jersey Mike's it was. My first impression was favorable. I walked through the door and heard the workers chatting and joking with the customers - most of whom turned out to be regulars. The meats looked fresh and everything seemed in order until I got in line. There were five of us in line and most of my lunch break was consumed standing there. It was not the fault of those making the sandwiches, they were on their game. I likely could have been in and out in minutes were it not for the cashier. Watching him plod slowly through his job, all I could think was "WT...? Dude's gonna cost me my lunch break and I'm gonna end up eating this sandwich at my desk while I work." I ordered a hot sandwich when my turn arrived. BIG mistake. The bread was soggy and I had no option of what was put on my sandwich. Could I add lettuce and such? Don't think so. Wasn't asked. I found a seat at a little counter area and ate my soggy sandwich. Now, do they deserve a second chance? I don't know. The employees seemed nice enough and the sandwich was okay, but it made me start yearning for a sandwich from the Smiling Moose. I put this place on par with Quizno's and Subway and a little above Togo's. Have I had better? Damn straight I've had better, but a trip to Colorado for a sandwich just isn't in the cards. read more

If Jersey Mikes allowed people to live in the restaurant, this would be my place. This place along with The one in Northridge are my favorite ones. They know me by name and remember my sandwiches which is good because they also remember my fiance's food choice. He will always tell them to surprise him and they do. Its like a new sandwhich every time which he loves. All the employees are friendly and nice. They love to start up a conversation and remember to remind me to use my Jersey Mikes saving card thing. The card by the way is great if you go a lot because you can get free sandwiches! Overall the prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for. I order from this location on Postmates about once a week and sometimes I come in and I have never once been disappointed as long as I've been coming. My order has never once been made incorrectly and the quality and taste are always consistent. Great customer service when you do come in as well. The sandwiches are always good. Solid. Etc. this review is actually about the concept of ordering and paying ahead of time and going in for pick up. I do this at multiple JM locations. I have never been reprimanded for arriving early. It's this portly blond female who prides herself on being in charge. It is so rude. And unnecessary. I have heard her do this to other guests. Strangers. Who have also arrived a bit early for sandwich pick up. I don't understand the need to put a guest in his or her place. It seems to be this employees pattern and I don't understand it one bit. Bad service makes good food taste bad. Jersey Mike's should be aware. This employee's attitude shouldn't dictate the vibes of the yummy sandwich establishment. She clearly needs to be relocated to back of house duties ASAP and then maybe retrained. read more
