    Choices for non soda drinkers
    Michelle J.

On the day that I stopped in every employee was practicing great customer service. I had 2 different employees offering to make my sandwich. I selected the #7 which is turkey with provolone. The sandwiches at Jersey Mike's come in mini, regular and large. I selected regular. If you prefer or need gluten free bread they do offer it here. If you select gluten free there is an upcharge of $1.50. I was so disappointed in my sandwich. I'm not a math major but by my guestimation I had 90% bread, 10% meat and toppings. That made me unhappy. They were not very generous with the turkey at all so I took off the thick bottom half of the bread so that I could actually taste my turkey. I do like the drink selections since I don't drink sodas and I love tea. They have a raspberry lemonade that I decided to try. It was a good choice. It's just the right amount of sweet so that was good.

This place is great!!! I've been to Jersey Mike's before and loved it but this location now takes on the favorite location thus far. It's clean inside, smells good, I was acknowledged right away, and the customer service is outstanding. Josh made my food and omg the best #13 Italian I had thus far. It had the same ingredients I always get, yet Josh added his own touches and it was great. Cory was my cashier and awesome. I forgot put in my points and he figured out a way to help me as well. I will definitely be returning. If you have had Jersey Mike's before check out this location. If you haven't had it this is s great location to try it at. Love it, and Josh and Cory made my day!

#43 Mikes way with pickles and banana peppers
    Daniel B.

Chipotle beef cheese steak with banana peppers and served Mikes way... Delicious!!!! Staff is always friendly and attentive.... They pile on the meat and veggies and its almost always cooked perfectly. The have a great selection of normal subs too but to be honest in the 7 years of me eating at Jersey Mikes... I have never deviated from my cheesesteak... I am from the east coast so don't think I am delusional about eating at this location for 7 years lol I will be eating here this week... Hopefully sooner than later... Sincerely, Daniel B.

Josh was a bright spot on this chilly day, clearly loves his job and made one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. 10/10

Some of the best subs I have ever tasted, pricey, but the taste is quality and the ingredients are fresh.

Rude staff last night before closing. Had a attitude and didn't speak. I guess they were so ready to go and clock out. Bad experience.

Yes it's a chain, but it's pretty good and miles ahead of other chains (e.g. Subway, Lenny's, Firehouse).

I was always greeted immediately upon walking in and the staff was very nice and helped me with placing takeout orders. Service was always fast, and the food was so good. Over the days, I ordered a Ham&Cheese, Reuben, Club, and Patty Melt. The Reuben was my absolute favorite. I liked that the corned beef and pastrami was not too salty. The rye? bread that was used was sooo soft and fluffy which is what made this place memorable to me. Side pickle was also crunchy and tasty and I liked the potato salad! Thank you for making my court days a little bit better. I'm glad there are other locations so I don't need to return downtown to get a great sandwich again!

Heading towards Dallas, I asked Mrs. K. if she wanted proper smoked salmon for breakfast and she was all in. As we're in the area for the Sixth Floor museum, this was an easy stop once we found and paid for parking. A small storefront with a large dining room that is decorated with some New York themed photos, we seated ourselves and a waitress brought over menus followed by coffee. We placed our orders and about ten minutes later, breakfast arrived. Mrs. K.'s platter included a good portion of thin sliced salmon along with ALL of the fixings including capers, cucumber, tomato, red onion and cream cheese. The toasted everything bagel was very good but not quite "New York style" perfection. Hey, it's Texas. You get to slide. My nova, eggs and onion plate was excellent with a huge portion of home fries. Cooked properly and with plenty of salmon mixed in, I enjoyed it very much. The biscuits were excellent, the gravy was a little thin on sausage but still tasty. Five stars because it's great service and great food. This is as close to New York style as you'll get when you're 1400 miles from Brooklyn. [Review 394 of 2026 - 709 in Texas - 25578 overall]

Normally, I don't consider people from St. Louis to be credible deli evaluators, but I was desperate and made the hour drive to Grapevine. We got there at 11:15 and the line was nearly to the door. Within 30 minutes, it was well out into the street. That was a promising sign. The sandwich menu covered the entire wall over the counter. Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.

A coffee, mocha, and chocolate. Unfortunately, the coffee and mocha cakes were extremely disappointing. Both had a strong taste that reminded me of some type of cleaning product. I can't say for certain what caused it, but guessing maybe something from the display case, but the flavor was so HORRIBLE that I only managed two bites of each before throwing them away because I didn't feel comfortable eating any more in fear of getting sick. The coffee frosting also had an old, stale coffee flavor. The chocolate cake was better. It was good, but not great. The cake itself wasn't dry, but it wasn't super moist either. One detail I did appreciate was that each slice was wrapped with paper along the sides to help keep it fresh, and not drying out in th I would have gladly taken the cakes back, but I had purchased them to go and was already too far away by the time I tasted them. As someone who absolutely loves cake, I truly wanted this place to become a favorite. It was disappointing because I had such high hopes based on the reviews. While the atmosphere and customer service were wonderful, the cakes simply didn't meet my expectations.
