Welp, unfortunately I'm leaving this review. This location has been the worst location in my experiences with Jersey Mikes. I have tried countless times calling in a phone order but the the phone goes unanswered. Even tried to place a large catering order for a few meetings. The times I have actually gotten through and picked up my order, have been very blah experiences. Customer service doesn't seem to be on their priority list. Love jersey mikes but this experience kind of grossed me out :(. We came and ordered our sandwiches and the girl that was at the register had gloves on and was handling money and touching the screen on the register and then did Not change the gloves at all and started preparing a sandwich . I was just watching her the whole time watching every single thing she was contaminating and she did not change her gloves once the whole time we were in there. 3 ladies were working in this day 1/29 at 7pm. One lady had their child there which is fine, but a bit unprofessional since this location shouldn't be a day care. However, this same lady who also didn't pay attention to us while making our food started to eat directly behind the counter while asking people what they wanted to order. Take a break sheesh. The employees need to learn to listen. 3rd time in a row they couldn't figure out that oil is not fucking vinegar. How hard is it realistically to do the one job you get paid to do. Take an order and get it ducking right. Will never go here again for lack of employee listening skills. read more

Eh let's face it...its a sandwich shop. Big whop. I mean if you have no time to make a sandwich yourself then yeah head on over here...Prices are ok for the amount of meat they always put on mine, and the bread is pretty darn fresh. I was a little hesitant when I asked for guac and they ended up putting some pasty mush onto my sandwich and I had to tell them TWICE to put the bacon on because they totally were not listening to what I wanted. I told them SEVERAL times the same thing over and over (honestly I should have just signed to the chick because she was totally not listening.) Then it took the girl 8 minutes to CUT, WRAP, and BAG my sandwich...yes she was having SERIOUS difficulties....Will I go here again? Customer service is terrible. A young woman and man were no smiles today no greetings and rude. That's how most employees are here everyday. They looked annoyed and impatient and they always forget the bacon and you have to remind them every time I come in when I order the club sandwiches or tubs. I asked for quac and it was DARK DARK green it looked days old. I asked if it was fresh the man looked up at me with an irritated look and said yes very shortly. It looked and tasted disgusting. You know I really don't understand all the hype? Seriously. It's good but it's not that great. I know the draw is that they slice the meat and cheese right in front of you but that is not enough to keep me coming back. They have like 3 staff members to make your one sandwich. They don't have that many options to to choose from or toppings to even put in your sub. We went in there the other day a spent close to $30 on a couple of subs. WHAT?!?! At these prices I would rather just go to the supermarket and get myself some quality meat and cheese and make myself some good sandwiches for the WEEK. I really like Jersey Mike's. I have only been maybe three or four times but everytime I have been served by friendly employees very quickly. I love how fresh the ingredients taste, 100% better than subway/quiznos and I also like all the options they have on their menu. I have often found myself craving a Jersey Mike's sandwhich but then having an inner battle if its worth the $$$$. So my only complaint is its a bit pricey for a sandwhich but I know I will still be back often read more

Jersey Mikes has a decent Philly Cheese Steak. The food isn't that bad. Here's the gripe. The prices are RIDICULOUS!! A Giant Sub is almost $13. UNBELIEVABLE. The Philly Cheese Steak is NOT WORTH that price. You get a mediocre amount of meat. I also tried the Tuna here. It was ok. Not worth the wait in line. read more

4 stars for the bread. It was heavenly--soft and tasty. I can't say the same about the inside of it. I ordered the #20, Grilled Reuben. I like hot sandwiches frankly and what can I say? It didn't have any taste, aside from the Thousand Island dressing. The sauerkraut was not that much--I barely tasted it. I have to ask the hubby what a Reuben tastes like--naturally bland maybe? Well, the food is good. But the place needs a manager or something... 4:10 on a Sunday. My wife and I walk in, doubling the number of customers inside. There were as many employees in the place as customers, yet the tables were not cleaned! Each table we looked at was covered with crumbs, rings from the soda cup, or hardened, dried, melted cheese. The kid at the grill seemed brand new, but he was at least friendly and trying; when more people came in he had to call for help. C'mon - 4 employees in the place and 3 of them hiding? Nobody wiping tables? I've done my time working fast food when I was younger, and this wouldn't have been allowed any place I ever worked. read more

First time going here, so here goes my review.....The line wasn't too bad, about 10 minute wait. Got up to the register and of course ordered what they are famous for I.E. Philly cheese steak sandwich. I believe I ordered the large which was about $13 bucks not including drink. The sandwich was good, coulda used more meat, the bread was the best....Wow...not your ordinary sub bread, this was actually really good bread... I can see myself going here again..... read more

fresher ingredients than subway's but slightly more expensive, i come here to take advantage of their coupon mailers and to support the local schools. clean and new inside but it gets awfully hot if you're eating in during lunch since the place is mostly windows. read more

This is our first time here. I ordered #13mini and my husband ordered #8 reg. both of we're impressed with the amount of meat they give you. Subway gives false advertising on their tv commercials. Their sandwiches look great on tv but when they make them there is hardly any meat. Mikes is a little more expensive but it was well with the price for us. I've driven past Jersey Mike's in Monrovia and have wanted to try them, so needless to say I was excited when this one opened so close to work. The advertising states that their sandwiches are Jersey style so I had to take some home so we, an original Jersey family, could check them. Overall, they weren't bad; service was a bit lacking--I did an online order but no one bothered to fill it (good thing I got there a bit early and was the only one in the store). The staff were very friendly, which is a plus, and enjoyed talking with me about being from Jersey. They wanted to give some tips to the manager to make the place more authentic, but he didn't seem interested since it was time for him to go home. I'll go back, and I'm still willing to try one of the other locations. I will stick with Gandolfo's in Rancho as my primary. read more

This Jersey Mikes used to be the It's A Grind coffee shop a few years back. I like this place. It's small but workable. Lets state the obvious, though. It's a sandwich shop. You can get the same at Quiznos or Subway or Vons. It's just a question of what you prefer. I prefer the cold sandwich over the hot ones here. The hot ones are too gloopy/messy for me. $$ is comparable. $7 for a regular (8 inch). Fav is the Original. Such a big sandwich I usually only eat half! Think of Subway cold cut combo but with way better meat and bread. Recommend that you tell them to take it easy with the oil/vinegar unless you like it wet You can join their e-mail/text club and get coupons. First one is to get free chips and drink when you buy a sandwich. Have also gotten coupons which give you full meal for price of regular sub or buying equivalent of a 3 foot sub for $25 (buy 2 giants and get one). read more

To start off my husband and I go to this location at least twice a month. WE have been going here since it opened. Most of the staff knows my husband and what he orders We have never had a problem especially with customer service . So I go in this was 2 days ago and go to order our usual. My hubby always gets a giant 13 and substitutes certain meats and this is how he orders every time. So I go up to the counter and there is a girl with a rude face on her doesn't even greet me nothing. I tell her our order and she starts making the sandwich . once she starts I let her know what I want on it and how I want roast beef instead of salami. She straight up tells me no you can not do that. I said excuse me I get that sandwich that way all the time. so goes on to tell me that they cant do that because their is no option to ring it up. that's funny because I come here all the time and you guys just charge me extra for the substitute. she then goes and tells me no we have to make it the way its comes on the menu. she was completely rude and had so much attitude . I walked out and said then I don't want it and you need to learn how to do your job. cant believe how she treats customers she doesn't even look like she wants to be there, her name Is Lauren by the way . will not be going back there as long as she is there . so disappointed they need to train their staff better customer service. later on the hubby went in and talked to the manager which she knew him by name . apologized and said she would talk to her .Her excuse was that the girl got confused about the word substitute which is a bunch a bs . she was just being lazy. I gotta say, the portion was not what I had hoped for even though I purchased "extra meat" on my cheese steak. The fact that their "standard" cheese for that sandwich is American is an instant turn off for anyone from the east coast...
