Went about 20 mins ago and asked for two #9's which is suppose to include bacon, but the ran outta bacon. First of all...HOW DO YOU RUN OUT OF AN ITEM THAT YOUR RESTAURANT USES TO MAKE OTHER ITEMS???? Secondly, I asked for them "mike's way" which is suppose to include mayo and other condiments. But when biting into the sandwich, they were not "mike's way." The two females that were working their probably didn't even wanna be there...very disappointing because this is my "go to" sub place. I ran into your Glendora Location on Grand Ave & Route 66. This is only my 2nd or 3rd time eating at Jersey Mikes. The store had only a few people inside. Two of the employees were in the corner having a quick meeting (I guess), and one guy was behind the counter. His name is JULIAN. Not only was Julian engaged with the two parties in front of me and entertaining while having the conversation - he genuinely had everyone's attention in the store and had a great energy about him. Older people came in and asked if the table could be cleaned off (even though there were several other clean tables around... Julian quickly responsed that he would be right there and finished taking my order - excused himself and ran to clean the table as he greeted the older couple and asked how there day was going... There was a total of four people working at this time. At some point a guy came out of the back and started making sandwiches (perhaps phone orders) the other two girls finished their meeting and went back to assisting each other at the cash register. Worth mentioning - both of these girls walked by the dirty table first before getting back into the flow f the cash register. Julian would make a great employee anywhere - most people dont pay attention and don't care! This young man - owned it as it was his own! I tried Jersey Mike's for the first time last week. My co-workers brought sandwiches to the office and I ate the roast beef w' provolone. YUMMM! The bread so was soft!!! I was thrilled! ....and that being my biggest gripe with sandwich shops is hard crusty bread! The provolone was also very thinly sliced and it reminded me of an old out of business sandwich shop in Covina called Darios which was AWESOME in it's day! I always tell my husband about my favorite Italian foods from N.J. Boy, was Jersey Mike's a pleasant surprise for some sandwiches. Not all were good, but the five star rating is for the following: - meatball sandwich (It has that sweet sauce taste that I remember so very well!) - basic sub sandwich prepared "Mike's way". This was my first time actually being able to really enjoy this place. I tried a cold sub before and it was really REALLY good. Well today I tried a hot one.... WELL, that was freaking amazing!! First off the young guy that helped me was super friendly, he totally knew his stuff, helped me find exactly what was I was looking for, then he cooked it right in front of me, doesn't get any fresher!! The employee tells us they're "closing early because she can't be left alone". Their meats are freshly sliced, and their bread looks to be freshly baked as well. I had seen other Jersey Mike's in the area but never stopped by. This place opened near where I live. It was not busy like how other people have posted. I would say we had two or three people in front of us and it was on a weeknight around 6pm or 7pm. Anyhow, getting to the food. I ordered the Jersey Shore's Favorite (no I am not a fan of the MTV show) after one of the workers provided me a sample of the meat they put in the Jersey Shore sandwich. Wow! the meat was cut very thin and certainly not like Subway. I loved the taste. After they made my sandwich in front of me (there are some sandwiches that you need to wait to be called for like the Philly Cheese Steak), I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into a Jersey Mike's sandwich. It was delicious and way different from Togo's or Subway. The bread they use is crisp but flavorful. I would love to eat it plain, warm and with butter! After I took the first bite, it reminded me of a eating a similar sandwich many moons ago that I can't pinpoint where or when. But it was delicious. I highly recommend it. I just moved to Glendora from Monrovia and was happy I had a Jersey Mike's down the street from me. The Monrovian Jersey Mike's was awesome and fast. They had a meal deal for $8.95 (Regular sandwich, chips and drink). Went to the Glendora Jersey Mike's last week for the first time and they were so slow and little more expensive. Today I ordered a tuna with cheese and they charged me $1.25 for cheese!! All the sandwiches on the menu have cheese except the tuna. Why charge me? The Monrovian and San Dimas Jersey Mike's never did. I might just go to the San Dimas from now on. read more

I have been here a few times before work and they disappoint me every time. I always do online order so I can pick it up and leave but they always end up helping someone else that was after me. I tell them what sandwich it is and I see it on the counter but they always make me stand there which is very unnecessary. Why advertise that we skip the line to grab the sandwich when none of the workers follow it? And the last 3 times they did NOT put the toppings I asked for. Went here tonight and ordered the Club Sub that had a variety of meats. They included Turkey, Cheese, Bacon, etc. ... The sandwich itself was okay. What I mean is, it isn't something I will remember and have to go back to order again. The bread they use was something I enjoyed the most (white). The meat, well, they place a hunk of somewhat marinated, jellied Turkey on a slicer and slice it less than paper thin. That in my opinion ruins the sandwich. People would more than likely enjoy (including myself) thicker slices of meat and cheese, therefore making a sandwich that makes you feel like you are biting into something. I personally enjoy a bit of mayo and mustard and not Mikey's way. The herbs they sprinkle can occasionally be too much too handle. Service here was good. The place was not busy however. I don't know what it would be like with more people inside. Personally, I probably will not be back. Meat way too thin, cheese way too thin and they pack the lettuce on. The large is $12, I usually only come here when I have a $2 dollar off coupon; if you want any extra meat or cheese they only charge a dollar for the 18". The bread is good, the meat could be higher quality; the toppings are fresh but if you get it "Mikes Way" they never get enough oil dressing on the 2 end pieces (they cut the large into 4 servings). I suggest if you like the dressing; ask for extra, it does get crowded so you wanna go when your in a patient mood. I wish they sent out those coupons more often because for 10 dollars it is a heck of a good deal. read more

I love jersey mikes. However!!! Tiffany the girl working there really made me feel unwelcomed. I ordered a giant #17. After not even saying hello she took my order. She worked the grill then she wrapped it. I said excuse me may i get it mike style. She said " what do you want on it" i said eveything except pickles. In love with their Original Italian Mike's Way! However, this is the second time in a row that the workers didn't ask if I wanted white or wheat bread. Before I could even ask for wheat, thinking they would offer the option first, they had already started making the sandwhich. Their white bread seems to also be tougher than the wheat. This is their reason for one star off. The male workers here are usually very welcoming! The one working today asked me about my day etc. The lady working at the register, who apparently was training, did not have a cheerful outlook whatsoever. I really do not see the hype over Jersey Mike's. I've eaten at this location a number of times and not a single time was I ever impressed. First and foremost; everything is expensive. The subs cost a lot and you really don't see the price go into anything for the food. I've had the Chicken Parmesan and Philly Cheese Steak before. Both were more bread than anything else. All filler and no thriller if I must say so. I like Jersey Mike's sandwiches. They have good bread and fresh ingredients. When this place first opened we would get coupons for a free giant 14 inch sandwich with the purchase of another giant of equal or lesser value. It was worth it considering that after taxes a giant will set you back somewhere between 13 and 15 dollars. With the coupon you could get 28 inches of sandwich for 15 dollars. Now that the store has been there a while we no longer get those coupons. They do give out some coupons but not for very good deals. For me... based off of the price, I only come here maybe 3 or 4 times a year. The service is ok but the sandwiches are too pricey to eat here any more than that. If you are willing to put out the money, then I would say this is a solid choice for a pretty good sandwich. read more

Meh. I really do like Jersey Mikes, but something is different about this location. The La Verne one is great, the new one by Costco in San Dimas is great, but this one is off. I can't quite place my finger on it, but the staff does not seem as friendly or similar to the other locations, I think it's a management issue. I know it is a franchise but I'm pretty sure a significant amount of training is needed before becoming an owner and therefore they should all be on a similar page. I think that for almost $13 for the tuna sub, it should have a decent amount of tuna on it. They even try to suggest that it'll cost extra for a tiny bit more tuna to fill in all the gaps on the bread that they missed. read more
