    #6 Roast Beef and Provolone

This was Unbelievably Discusting. I got a Roast Beef sub dry!!! The lady that took our order wasn't that nice. The restaurant smelled a lot.

Although the sandwich is tasty. The portions for a regular is pretty small. I cannot even imagine what the small size sandwich contains. More than likely it's two bites at best. Ordering is easy if you are doing it via app, the approximate wait time is around 10 minutes. The Italian sandwich #13 is usually the go to...but, at the price vs. portion, might not ever come back. For almost $12, i might as well just make my own sandwich.

My wife and I were looking where we could get a nice sub sandwich, boom The Colossal feeds 50-60 we needed 2 for the party. Fast forward I called in today gentleman answered, put me on hold came back and was greeted with "what do you want?" "Yes can I place an order for 2 Colossal sandwich's." Before I could say what kind I wanted I was rudely interrupted "I said what do you want? What kind of sandwich!?" I repeated what I wanted He repeated "what kind of sandwiches do you want? I said can have it with Turkey Pastrami and Turkey. I was told no repeatedly on the turkey pastrami. -First the Turkey pastrami is too expensive it's an added $50 I said that's fine and he continued to persuade me to not get it -Second because now it's too much work to put on a sandwich because you know The Colossal is pretty big. (Seems like the works too much for them) So at the end of the day I went with the big corporate sandwich shop because I got my questions answered, they weren't rude, actually tried to upsell me instead of telling me no it's "too expensive" Lesson learned: teach your employees how to talk to customers. Thanks for the time and the so so service.

She right away knew we were newbies and did her best to help us out with our options! I went with her suggestions and they did NOT disappoint!! I got the brisket sandwich, it... was... amazing!!! A little small, but quality I feel is more important! I also got a side soup, looked like a veggie meatball soup, it was delicious as well! Needless to say, I can't wait to be back!! The bread is soft and has a great chew. the service is good and reasonably quick. I ordered a pastrami and via verde sandwich . the PASTRAMI is generously piled in this roll with aïoli garlic, mustard, coleslaw & pickles. Delicious! It also comes with onions and cheese which I opted out. The 2nd sandwich was the VIA VERDE. OMG! even better than the pastrami. This sandwich had pickled jalapeños, tomatoes, garlic, aïoli, avocado, and a ton of green chili shredded pork - double delicious!! These two sandwiches were a good 6 inch long filled to the brim with meat, topping and sauces for 2 sandwiches under $26 total with sales tax. I highly recommend Papa's Sandwiches in San Dimas.

Larios Market was recommended to me by a wonderful fellow Yelper. You know who you are. Thank you!…read more I wanted to get guacamole, salsa, and chips for a team potluck lunch. I got rave reviews on these items that they are super good at Larios so here I am to confirm. This market is located at the corner of Barranca Ave and Arrow Highway in Covina. It's actually a meat market, but they sell produce and other food/dry items plus hot foods. It's a very small place with maybe 3-4 tight aisles. I went straight to the refrigeration area. I saw lots of different salsas and a handful of guacamole. At first glance, the appearance of the guac did not look appealing to me. It looked brown and kind of watery at the top. I was hesitant to get them, but since they were recommended, I got 3 of them. Now looking back, I should have only gotten one just to try them. It was not that great IMHO. Maybe they were not made that day and have been hanging around for a day or so. However, the roasted red salsa was really really good... I would highly recommend this one. Pico de gallo was decent. Crab ceviche was just okay... too much of the V8 taste. I ended up buying 6 containers and spent over $50 on guac and salsa. Probably more than I need. I didn't bother with the chips as they look more on the oily side. Anyway, staff was nice and helpful. Check out was fast as it wasn't super busy at the time. Parking is limited. They do have a few tables and stools outside in front of the market for those who want to eat here after their food purchase. I'm not sure if I would come back for the guac, but I may come back for the roasted red salsa and possibly their tacos and burritos.
