Came here yesterday during my lunch break with a bogo (buy one get one free) coupon that my work were passing out. It was probably my second time getting these subs and I must say it's quite good and filling. I got the turkey club (bacon lettuce tomatoes turkey) and tuna all on wheat bread. It comes in three option choices mini (5.50), reg (7.75), or large (8.25), but the regular is just the right amount and prices vary which each different kind of subs you want. Service: It was a welcome feeling. The people making your sandwiches try to interact with you and always smiling. That''s good customer service. 3 stars only because Without the coupon I have, the prices for the subs are kind of pricey and another star because if you don't get your sandwich the "mike's way" you probably need to go the grocery store and buy yourself some siracha. read more

This new Jersey Mikes replaces the old Quiznobodyatethereanyhow's. Nothing against Quiznos. I like their menu and items just fine, but man were they depressing and the quality suffered at the end. There is Jersey Mike's on Von Karman that most people use, but that parking lot is even worse than this. This is much nicer in terms of venue. Good Better Best. The Jersey Shore favorite is just that. It's not really, but anything with Cappacuolo is good. Better yet is the Super Sub which add's prosciutto to the Jersey Shore Favorite. The Best is the Original Italian adding salami and pepperoni to the Super Sub. Whether you get it Mike's Way or not you'll love the fresh cut ingredients before the saucing and the bread is good too. The regular is filling and the Giant is what every little boy dreams of. A large sub that will leave no man feeling hungry, probably more in pain from eating too much, or even trying. Not really the cold subs are less dense than the hotties. My favorite philly cheesesteak place is owned and run by Philadelphians, all of them, even the cooks. Philly everything on the wall, it's a little ridiculous. I love them for their authenticity, but Jersey Mike's original, Chipotle and Big Kahuna might be the best franchised national cheesesteak. Gooey, cheesey, meaty, tender. It's in my top 10, maybe even top 5 and for that alone considering what's ahead of them is 3 stars alone. I do not recommend doing this. I am on Lipitor, jk, but the way I eat I'll probably need it one day. Get the Big Kahuna and add the meats from the Original Italian underneath. I know. Don't judge me. Nice clean location, and helpful staff. Have been here several times, and the subs are always fresh. It's nice to see the meat being sliced right before your eyes. Only negative was one time they ran out of water cups. Most recently, put in a to go order, and it was on time and accurate. The original Italian Mike's Way is our favorite sandwich right now. Do not go here if you want good service or expect your sandwich to be made in a professional manner. I'm a fan of Jersey Mike's and have had it many times. I love sandwiches in general. The visit to this store was my first and last. I ordered a regular #8 like I always do. The first prep employee threw the meat on to the sub hastily. The second sandwich prep employee asked if I would like it Mike's Way and I said yes with very easy vinegar. She drenched the sandwich in both oil and vinegar. Again, I've been to Jersey Mike's many times, I know what their standard oil and vinegar looks like. By the time they wrapped up my sandwich it was soaked and mushy with half the meat being wrapped up on the outside of the bread. It was literally falling apart. I should also mention the employees looked like they could care less that they were there. They looked dejected and unmotivated. This is usually due to poor management/hiring practices. $8.79 for a sandwich, almost $9. $9 wasted. Gave it two stars instead of one, because if anything else, they were fast. read more

Went here at 7pm on Friday March 23rd and the radio was so loud that I had to ask him to turn down the radio as he could not hear me to talk my order and he did but was still loud. Jersey Mike's takes advantage of their location to generate a lot of lunchtime business. Unfortunately, those of us that work nearby have very few other options. After I eat at Chipotle for the 4th time in a week, I just have to get something else. Sometimes I come to Jersey Mike's, and I always feel ripped off. Their meat is terrible, the meat-slicer is such a gimmick - it's slicing off peices from a compressed turkey paste log. What is the point of slicing it in front of you? It's already completely processed and no different than regular deli meat. Might as well just score the meat-log and tear off peices like it's a loaf of bread. At the end of the day, the food isn't terrible, but it's so ridiculously overpriced. Coming up on $10 for a regular sub without chips/drink is such an awful deal for some slices of meat paste and sprinkles of lettuce. They don't even have close to the veggie options other sandwich places give. Having fewer ingredients and processed meat should mean the cost of business is low and the savings should be passed to the customer. But they aren't! It's the most expensive mediocre sandwich shop I've ever been to. Honestly I'd even prefer a Subway. read more

Not dependable. Horrible experience. Ordered giant subs for a school event for non profit. Needed the sandwiches to be sliced in a specific manner. They agreed and promised to have the sandwiches prepared and ready. We got there and they did not cut and wrap as promised. The answer was we they were busy. Sorry but I can assure you I will not come back and will tell others to go to another shop. The experience left me stressed and needed to scramble to have it wrapped. If I could give this venue 0 stars I would. Food is average not great. My issue is with the staff. I went there on 04/22/2015 at 3:10pm. My 4 year old needed to use the restroom. He went into the single user men's restroom by himself as the door was unlocked. 30 seconds or so later a man walks out of the same restroom. I was shocked. He tells me the lock on the door is broken. He walks to the counter and tells the manager on duty the lock is broken. She responded to him, oh its been broken for about a year." And then giggled. He was just walked in on using a private restroom. He left. My son comes out and we go back to our seats. A few minutes go by and I begin to steam. It is okay the lock is broken. I would never let my young son go into a restroom alone. Thank goodness that nothing happened to my son. We had a long talk about safety in those situations later that night. As I got more upset about the event. I asked the manager for her manager's contact information and explained why. She refused to give me any info, not even a name or email. She said the best she could do is tell me to call corporate. I've called twice and have yet to get a live person. I left two messages. How many other patrons have been violated being walked in on at this place, the locks been broken for a year! Also there is no sign on the door saying the lock is broken. The Quiznos that preceded this place was one of my least favorite eateries of all time (you can still find the review on Yelp if you look)... so Jersey Mike's could only be an improvement. Generally speaking, when I want a quality sandwich I go to Harry's Deli a short walk around the circle (or Specialty's if I'm craving a Caprese and feeling up to the miserable parking)... but after Harry's recent fire, I've been left to get my sandwich fix elsewhere. I'll say this... Jersey Mike's definitely does some sandwiches better than others. In fact, my assessment with their various offerings ranges the gamut from jubilant to disgust and regret. The sandwiches I've tried so far are: The Original Italian, the Tuna, the Philly, the Big Kahuna, and the Meatball. The ITALIAN is pretty damn good... which I credit to the laudable quality of their ingredients. The tomato is sweet and ripe and red where filth-slingers like Subway would give you a bitter, green disc of soggy, rotten tomato. And ordering it "Mike's Way" really does make all the difference... the herbs really make the sandwich. The TUNA is decent. As far as Tuna offerings in the area go, this is among the best... but a truly amazing Tuna sandwich is an easy thing to make at home (especially with a little fresh bread from Black Market Bakery), and this one pales in comparison to my own (the secret, beside quality bread, is homemade mayo and just a pinch of curry powder/garam masala). Now the CHEESESTEAK... that is absolutely delicious. It's a hot, gooey, cheesy, generous gut-bomb of awesomeness. And by that token, so is the BIG KAHUNA... which is Jersey Mike's original cheesesteak with double cheese, mushrooms, and jalapeños. The Big Kahuna is by far one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had (I don't say that lightly). So far, this sounds like a four-star review... so where's the other star? Well, let me tell you about that MEATBALL Sandwich... It's awful. Really, really awful. Jersey Mike's has great bread, great cheese, and their marinara sauce is even good... but those meatballs taste like the cheap, nasty bottom-of-the-barrel cafeteria food. They're worse than Subway... they're worse than IKEA... don't order it. So let's recap: Quality ingredients. Great bread. Passable tuna. Order and revel in any of the outstanding cheesesteaks (especially the Big Kahuna), but AVOID THE MEATBALL AT ALL COSTS. read more

I came here the other day with a friend of mine around noon. It was packed with business people from the surrounding area and the line was out the door. Luckily, it moved at a reasonable pace and I got to order in about 10 minutes or so. I ordered a gigantic philly cheese sandwich for about $13 and a soda. Total was just under $16. The sub was HUGE and I finished about half for lunch, and then the rest for dinner. They made it after I ordered it so it was steaming hot while I was eating it and it was delicious! I opted for the regular white bread which had a nice soft texture. Someone once told me that its the bread that makes the sandwich. I don't necessarily agree but their bread was decent. Anyway, this is one of the better subs I've had. It tasted great, was made fresh, and had generous portions. I'd go here over subway or quizno's any day. read more

We've been to this Jersey Mike's (JM) a couple times now. Dont get me wrong, we love JM! Our favorite is the Original Italian (#13)! The 3 stars is strictly for the taste... The -2 stars is for the service. We were in a rush on a Friday night and just wanted something fast. Knowing that the hot sandwiches usually take a while, we elected to get a couple of cold sandwiches. There was 1 person in front of us...and the worker was helping someone check out. it took him 5+ minutes just to help the guy in front! And then another 5 minutes to help us! If i knew it was going to take 10+ minutes just to place our order, we wouldve gone somewhere else! And on top of that, we asked to cut our sandwich into 5. First 1 got cut into 4s...and then we reminded him again. Second sandwich was cut so unevenly, the fifth "piece" was literally a bite! I am usually a pretty patient person, but it was just too slow and the service was just subpar (very unJM like!). If we go back to a JM, it will likely not be this one. read more

I like jersey mike.Never any problems I want staff to be aware of food safety practices. After the lunch day part today, one of the staff was wiping down the prep area including the sandwich board and the drop area beneath the ingredient trays. But sandwiches were being made just then. Please don't use the same rag to wipe counters and environmental surfaces and then move to food prep surfaces and ingredient trays. Never ever again let me see you drag the edge of that rag through the sliced onions. Aesthetically gross and you'll make people sick. The nonskid mat under the plastic sandwich board is covered most of the day and likely moist all day. That is not a food-safe surface. Don't wipe that area with the same rag that you use to wipe the sandwich board. Don't touch the cash register with gloved hands. Gloves are to protect the customer not the register In fact, don't make sandwiches while they are doing wipedown. Fortunately the guy making my sandwich picked mine up through all this and assembled it in his gloved hands and on a fresh paper. Thank God he had the presence of mind to realize what this other person was doing and what was going on in my mind Clean from sensitive areas (i.e., food prep) to less-sensitive (i.e., drops and counters). Never go the other direction. Change rags for different areas. Use a clean rag for food prep only. Clean means new and fresh, not wet and who knows what. read more

I was just doing nothing but to watch. I was so upset because I did mot have time to wait. I complinat to the manager but he said he had to make to on time for online orders. What about my time???? I got the Classic Mikes' sandwich and enjoyed my meal but it was smaller than a footlong Subway for the same price. Apples to apples, I'd choose Subway since you get more bang for your buck. They slice your meats and cheeses as you order so they are fresher then your Quiznos and Subway. They also hand slice their veggies too! They are on the upper end of my lunch budget but I do enjoy their quality and freshness so I am willing to bump the budget for them. read more

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with Jersey Mikes. We ordered food for our drivers this weekend. When I got to work Monday I was told the sandwiches did not have the dressing on it, minimal meat or lettuce. When I called to discuss this experience with the manager Juave all he could say is we should have called Sunday. Had I been at work on Sunday I would have. He was completely rude and defensive. I eat at this location approximately 3 times a week as it's very close to work and I love the tuna sandwich. That being said, if you're a fan of the tuna, I would recommend calling ahead and making sure they have some prepped because in the last 6 months, there's been 5 separate occasions where I'll get there and they are all out. One of those days was Good Friday, a day you would think they would have extra tuna prepped. This brach just opened last week. Crazy long lines due to $1 subs offer. Anyways, to be honest, the taste is comparable to Quiznos or Subway. Regardless of anything they put in it. I can't find a distinct taste that separate them from other chains selling subs. The branch is definitely clean. Table and chairs can be quite limited during lunch break. So my family likes to frequent Jersey MIkes, and boy were we excited when one opened up in our neighborhood! Super convenient and close by - woo hoo! Unfortunately, it seems like this establishment doesn't value the art of listening and following instructions, or upholding standards of service. Of the number of times we've visited this location (let's say upwards of 15 to 20 times since they opened ), the number of times our orders have been messed up, made wrong, and have even been something completely different than what we originally ordered is ridiculous. How ridiculous? Of those 15 to 20 times, I can count perhaps two (yes TWO) times we got what we ordered. I mean, how many times can you say "I HATE bell peppers. I just hate them. Don't put them on my sandwich. I can't eat them." ? Makes me wonder what would happen if I'd said I was allergic. To their credit they'll always replace a sandwich that's been prepared wrong. and we've given them plenty of chances to do that with our repeat visits. However, I have yet to hear the manager take responsibility for the problems. Yes, I'd like to hear that you're going to talk to your employee about it besides just telling me you'll replace my sandwich for free. Then again, it's entirely possible that the reason Mr. Manager hasn't copped to it is because he doesn't plan on changing a thing. We are done. Unless you are willing to stand at the counter watching every single tiny step the person making your sandwich takes, AND then take your sandwich apart before leaving JUST to make sure - just go somewhere else.
