After hearing a bunch of friends rave about Jersey Mike's we finally decided to give it a try today. Found parking on the street then saw a sign on their door stating that they offered parking in the rear. Since the US womens world cup was on, it was nice to have been able to watch while eating one of their subs. I ordered the original italian sub of course Mike's way (minus onions). The sandwich was good but I could not really taste of of the meats. It was decent but did not meet my expectations. Yes the ingredients used to make the sandwich were fresher than what Subway would offer but I would rather head to Claro's near my work for an awesome cold sandwich. read more

Normally, I wouldn't get so mad about a messed up order, except this time it's personal. Been to Jersey Mikes, worked at Jersey Mikes, and have been a shift leader at Jersey Mikes. This location is gross. Meat case wasn't stocked nor nicely presented. Meats that were prepped for slicing in the meat case were sloppy and just thrown on the tray. The slicer didn't change the setting between slicing the cheese and the meats (getting ripped off on my sandwich), the lines was a MESS. Also, my sprinkler was rude and didn't do Mikes way properly. Sad store that gives the company a bad name. Your attempt to rip me off, failed. You only get two stars cause the slicer was talkative along wth the cashier. I have only ever oreder online from this location but this afternoon me and my wife came across a wonderful crew with a great disposition. Managed by an incredible sandwich Artisté (NOT to be confused with those "sandwich artists") named Deaje. I saw how she made the sandwich before me and instantly knew the talent I was dealing with. I had a horrible experience at the 122 Lake ave Pasadena store I chose to eat every day , I might skip a day or two a week , the manager Deja disrespected me by violently grab the meat off a sandwich due to her misunderstanding what kind of sandwich I wanted something she clarified by saying she didn't hear me because of my mask but the damage had already occurred , she and other employees refuse to tell me she is actually the manager and when I Got home my tuna had heavy mustard in it when I never asked for mustard and I believe that was malicious done to me ! Tonight is my FIRST time ordering Uber Eats (7:40 pm) and after I placed my order, I called the store to verify they got the order and to ask for light sauce on my wrap sandwich. (Expected delivery time: 7:55 | Latest delivery 8:10) The guy that answered verified the order and said he was making it. It was supposed to be picked up by a girl, Jessica, and I saw on the app that she was waiting on the sandwich and after 15 min she was no longer my deliverer. I called the store at 8pm to verify the order left. The same guy answered and said "the wrap hasn't gone out yet". Weilin was my now new delivery guy and it was finally delivered at 8:23. When I got the order and opened it, it was the wrong sandwich. ‍ I mean, c'mon Jersey Mike's! I've never ordered from Uber Eats before and decided to go with Jersey Mike's, which is 1/2 mile away and I have only eaten Jersey Mike's 3 times in my life. I called twice to verify my order and it was late and still wrong. Not ordering from Jersey Mike's or Uber Eats again. Addendum: I took my incorrect order to the store just before they closed. I could see exactly what the problem was. There were 3 guys there and was 1 guy working (making sandwiches and serving customers) and 1 was taking his time cookin a sandwich and blaming another wrong order on the guy making sandwiches. Then there was another guy that initially was chopping up meat with 1 glove on and then once he was done, he leaned against the cutting board and stood there for 10 minutes doing nothing while the main guy helping customers was doing, what appeared to be, his best to keep up with the 6 customers in the store. Its raining today, so stopped for a quick sandwich to go, thinking I could be in and out in 5 minutes. No such luck, it took 23 minutes to get a sandwich to go! I work 1 block away, eat lunch out everyday. I won't ever go back here. The team was working hard, but 1/2 the sandwiches they were making were for "to go" orders. Pretty clean place Funny, quick workers Bomb bangin' food! Bf and I ordered their Chipotle Cheesesteak..mmm. We were both going to get the regular size, but the worker insisted us to get their giant sub (15 inch) and split it in half. Cheaper, and a tad bit bigger sized. I'm definitely okay with that! We also got it on wheat bread, and it went perfectly with it. Loads of cheese, onions, and deliciousness! We also ordered their chili, and it was..okay. Nothing amazing. They asked if we wanted cheese and onions on top..and of course we did, psh. The cheese was ridiculous to try to chew off while eating the chili! The cheesesteak itself was of course yummy. They roast their own beef in the store a nice med-rare, not that pre-cooked stuff that tastes of chemicals you find in most shops. I like this place because of their fresh cut meats and fresh bread.....I also like that's its simple and it's tasty. You can't go wrong with a sandwich but you can always PIMP a sandwich- meaning it could use more than just lettuce and tomatoes!!! I love that they put oil/vinegar salt/pepper... but remind them to just put a small amount of oil...or you will have oil running down your elbows!!! So far, I'm not impressed with Jersey Mikes -- which is disappointing because I'm from Jersey and I miss good sub sandwiches. The sandwiches are good, but pricey. It's really the customer service that I've had a problem with. My biggest problem with them is that they advertise free delivery. Yet the three times I've called, I've gotten three different excuses about why they won't deliver. The last time I was told that there is a $50 minimum on delivery. When I pointed out that their menu makes no mention of such a minimum, the person on the phone asked the manager and responded something to the effect of "the manager says that's the rule now." It's bad enough that this business advertises something it apparently has no intention of delivering, but to be rude on top of it is absurd. I hope this place gets its act together because I want to keep going there. read more

Gave the cheese steak a try. I normally, don't try cheese steaks outside of Philly. Well, I probably won't be ordering one again, but I'm probably pickier than most on this. Stopped in for lunch with my wife. I wanted a Jersey Mike's #13, but my wife wanted to go next door to Lemonade, for her meal. Even though I was in line ordering my sandwich, the girl behind the counter did not want me parked in their lot because my wife had walked out the door. I really appreciate the employee's concern about preserving the sanctity of their parking lot, over serving a customer (FYI: that was sarcasm). Anyhow, the 1-star is deserved (over no stars. Good for you, that I am prevented from even that), because I was ultimately re-directed to Lemonade for my meal (of course, after removing my car from Mikey's precious parking lot). It turned out that Lemonade has much fresher fare, and Which Wich across the way has much better sandwiches. Plus, there is free 90-minute parking across the street. read more

I always saw commercials on TV for this place, but never knew they had locations in LA until recently. While walking around Pasadena, I was happy to have come across this Jersey Mike's and excited to give it a try. We got a mini Jersey Shore favorite "Mikes way" and a large Jersey Mikes famous Philly. Both were good, but I recommend the Philly. The only downfall are the prices, a bit steep compared to other places. I don't think I would drive out of my way to eat here, but if I'm in the neighborhood I might consider stopping by. read more

Jersey Mike's looks like a promising option for sandwiches, with a friendly staff, largish menu, and seemingly fresh ingredients. The cold sandwiches come "Mike's Way" by default, which means lettuce, tomato, onions... and LOTS of oil, vinegar, and spices. I watched them really douse several sandwiches with the O&V (to a point I deemed excessive), but I suppose "Mike" is the expert... I'll have to try it before making my judgment. Unfortunately, I opted for the #18 Chicken Parm instead. I'm a big chicken parm fan, but this really wasn't my style... instead of a chicken cutlet, the chicken was cut into very large (1.5"-2") cubes that didn't lend themselves to eating in a simple manner. Because there were only a few large cubes of chicken in the whole sandwich, most of my bites were just sauce and bread, while those bites containing chicken were tough to wrap my mouth around. Maybe I'm not used to the Jersey style, or maybe Jersey Mike's just doesn't specialize in chicken sandwiches--I'll have to update my review after trying a cold sandwich instead. The quality of the bread and meat was fine though, and I saw enough good looking sandwiches go by while waiting for mine that I'd be willing to give them another try... ------------------------------------------------ UPDATE: I went back today for a cold sandwich (#13 - Italian), and I'm very glad I did--I enjoyed this sandwich much more than the chicken parm. The italian had good portions of thinly-sliced meat, fresh produce, and delicious seasonings... I definitely recommend going "Mike's Way" on any cold sandwich! The O&V aren't overdone at all, and it added a nice flavor to the medley of meats and cheese going on in my sandwich. Came in twice now. Got the Philly cheesesteak each time. It's a great sandwich. Place is clean, employees are friendly... But either clueless or just trying to act natural when customers have been sitting around for 25 minutes to get a sandwich. That is the big problem with this place. The first time I visited, I waited for a little more than 20 minutes to get a sandwich. The second time I visited, it was a little more than 25 minutes. On my second visit, other people who ordered after me were getting their sandwiches before me. I sat waiting like an idiot with absolutely no acknowledgement from the cheery employees. Good food, very slow service. If you're on your lunch break during the week, head over to the other sandwich places across the street, I forgot the name. Horrible, horrible place! We made a large order to be delivered and they totally screwed up our order. When we spoke to them, all they could do was continue to blame the driver for our screwed up order (really?) I had to go back and pick up the rest of our order and it took me nearly 40 minutes to find a parking spot. When I went inside I asked them, "did you get our order right this time?" They said "yes", I went over item by item if it was in the bag, they said "yes and yes." I left and came back to the office...and the order was completely wrong missing two sandwiches...no apologies, nothing! I will NEVER go back to this place again. I've seen a branch while I was in Westwood a while ago, but never really entered, just because one look at the price and I was running away to Pastagina (which is now closed..) I was craving something different, something new, and decided to give this place a try. And for some reason, I always thought Jersey Mike's served different kinds of sandwiches, and for some other random reason, I always thought they had a po' boy sandwich, which made me want it even more. Walked in and saw no po' boy sandwich, so I ended up getting a random sandwich off their best seller, the Chipotle Turkey sandwich. Price was a little steep, about the same price as a Vons sandwich, and about the same size. The pro: they cut the meat in front of you, with an actual deli slicer. The con: VERY limited to what you can add onto the sandwiches, in terms of vegetables, and I usually load up the veggies. Overall, not too bad, but I would probably prefer Subway or Vons. read more

Yum! I'm definitely a fan. I've only gotten one sandwich from here (because I can't stray away), the roast beef, turkey, bacon, made "Mike's way" with banana peppers. The meat and toppings are always fresh, but I wish the bread were consistently fresh. I've had it when it was soft and fluffy, and again when it was stale. Also, I wish there were organic soda and juice options, or perhaps vintage/nostalgic sodas. Just a thought. read more
