Yesterday was Wednesday, 03/27/2024, the chosen "Day of Giving" for Jersey Mike's to donate all their sales proceeds to selected charities. How generous and cool is that! Thank you Jersey Mike's for your kindness and generosity!! Keep doing what you do best!!! I love to donate and I wanted to be part of this great cause so I came here at their Pasadena location on Lake Ave during lunch time yesterday to offer my support and patronage. I have never gotten the Giant that is 14 inches worth of goodness. This was the perfect time to get it and I did just that... one Giant Turkey & Provolone... Mike's way with pickles and easy juice LOL! A co-worker of mine said he liked their Mike's Chicken Philly so I thought why not... I'll give it a try... one of those with everything on it please! LOL Mike's Chicken Philly on rosemary bread was very good. It had great flavor. Lots of chicken and cheese. Love the bell peppers! I will get it again. Turkey & Provolone on white bread is my favorite sandwich at Jersey Mike's... always sweet turkey meat and fresh lettuce & tomatoes... no complaints here. However, I didn't eat the Giant right away so the bread and veggies got soggy by the time I got home... my fault and that's okay... a little toaster oven action will give it a jump LOL... it won't be 100%, but it'll do. Staff was attentive, but I didn't get many smiles. I understand it was busy, but a smile goes a long way... trust me! Grilling took some time so I had to wait a little bit for my entire order to be ready. Ambiance was quaint especially the wall art. They do have inside and outside seating available. The next time they have another "Day of Giving" event, I'll definitely be back. Thanks again Jersey Mike's!!! We need more of "Day of Giving"!!!!

Just ordered my first number 4. Perhaps someone in corporate needs to review the menu.. this is not prosciutto

Former Jersey Mikes supervisor here, 2009-2010. I got totally ripped off here. There's supposed to be way more produce, there was no juice or oregano. It might have been someone who was new or a lunch rush, but the first week of training is dedicated to making a sandwich right. At the end of the day, that's all that needs to be done, a proper sandwich. Yikes.

Eager workers to build your sandwich to your specifications. I usually request everything. Girls before were so picky and specific, the workers were more patient than me. Sandwich lasted and had a bunch of turkey meat. I would not go out of my way to get one, but if I need one for a late night snack, this place will do.

    Not what I ordered.

I ordered 3 sandwiches, that I believed were simple orders. I got the #13, chipotle, and tuna sandwich. At least they got 2 out of the 3 sandwiches correct. Unfortunately, it was my sandwich they got wrong. My original sandwich that I saw them make was a mini tuna with mustard, added cheese, lettuce, and tomato. I ended up with someone else's order. Which was plain and a ton of onion. I took 2 bites and through the rest away. I thought I would be able to pellet it but the amount of overwhelming onions was too much to take. Waste of money! Between 3 works, I still couldn't get the sandwich I ordered or was craving. Disappointed To top it all off, when I tried calling, the number that is provided. Don't bother calling it doesn't work.

So good that my wife traded me sandwiches after one bite. (That's love to will the others good even in a sandwich). The veggie supreme was a good combo with the TTC. Everything tasted fresh and it was the best sandwich we have had in a while. Nothing beats a good mouth watering sandwich, watching the kids play and seeing the "Kevin's" at the Arboretum. I've been married to an Italian woman for years and have eaten sandwiches from Little Italy's all over the states to many in Italy as well, so I was definitely interested to order some sandwiches and giving this place a go. This small shop doesn't have much seating, but it does have a counter to sit at as well as a small section of pasta, sauces, drinks, and various other things for you to purchase when you walk in. The menu here isn't massie, but you don't really need it to be at an Italian sandwich shop so who cares? I ended up ordering the Chicken Confit which description is "Our newest sandwich! Dark meat chicken sourced from Cream Co. Meats, confited in olive oil, then tossed it with an orange-Calabrian chili agrodolce spiked with fennel seed and garlic that's bright, deeply savory, a touch spicy, and a little addictive. It all comes together with spicy arugula and tangy pecorino Toscano on a Bub & Grandma's baguette.". The sandwich was about $15 and I gotta say, it's not very big and it didn't really do the job of filling me up and neither did my wife's. The flavour wasn't bad at all, it was solid enough and I don't have any complaints other then It was simply kind of small for the price. Overall, Ferrazzani's Pasta & Market is fine. I didn't leave blown away by anything, and in fact I was left still kind of wanting to eat. The sandwich was fine, but I don't think the amount of food matches the price and I can't really see myself driving back to Pasadena to give this place another go, but hey, this may be the perfect shop for somebody.

It was always a real treat. As a teenager I dated a couple of the girls that worked there so I was there on the regular in those days. In my 20's I lived right up the street and hit them up quite often. I don't get there as much as I'd like nowadays but when I do, it is always consistently great. Times have definitely changed but Connal's quality food and super customer service has not! I am a huge Combination Grinder fan and have not ordered anything different for well over 30 years. They are always stacked with lots of high quality cold cuts and delicious Provolone, crisp shredded Lettuce, thin sliced Onions and Vinegar and Oil on a delicious French Roll. In my teens and 20's I did try many samplings on their vast menu and as memory serves, everything was always delicious. Today's Grinder absolutely hit the spot! It had been a while since I last tasted one but the Combo Grinder most definitely never disappoints. I went for it, and got Zings (Zucchini Sticks and Onion Rings). Super hot, crisp and very tasty, especially with some Bleu Cheese Dressing. Jesse took my order and he was very personable and showed me some excellent customer service. If you are looking for some great grub, you cannot lose with Sandwiches By Connal. It is not the original owners but they have kept the same quality and standards over the years.

Once upon a time, we lived dangerously close to this establishment, and I've honestly thought about it more often than I'd like to admit ever since. So when I found myself in Pasadena a few weeks ago, you better believe I was coming back. I ordered my usual: an unbelievable burger, fries, and a Coke--of course. But the crown jewel of the meal, as it has always been, is the fried zucchini. I have never found better fried zucchini, and trust me, I've been trying for years. Service at the window was just as friendly as I remembered, and we grabbed a spot tucked under the patio instead of staying inside--perfect for people-watching as folks came and went. There's something really special about being welcomed back by a place that tastes exactly like you remember. Connal's still delivers.

It consisted of lettuce, avocado, corn, black beans, jicama, tomatoes, onion, quinoa, krispies, kale, cilantro, and cotija. It was packed with flavor even without the chipotle vinaigrette (relieved I got it on the side because I wasn't s big fan). The avocado was very fresh and plentiful. I added chicken for extra $4.74 and it was very tender! Overall, I enjoyed the salad but a bit pricey so it was a good one time experience! The Chicken Pesto Caprese ($14.10) was pretty good. It consisted of chicken, mozzarella, red peppers, pesto, and mixed greens. The greens were very fresh and the sandwich was packed with flavor. The chicken was a little dry but not a big deal. There was a lot of red pepper and it was a bit overwhelming so I wished there wasn't so much. Really enjoyed the pesto since it it wasn't too salty and was the cherry on top to the sandwich! I also really liked that the bread was soft and fresh. Got the "Not so Fried" Chicken Sandwich ($13.68) - 1/2 portion and it came with a side (paid extra $1.26) for tomato basil soup. It consisted of chicken, krispies, mustard pickle slaw, tomatoes, onions, and herb aioli. The bread was very fresh and soft. I'm glad I got this in half portion because I thought this was just ok and nothing special. The tomato basil soup was very oily and salty so wasn't too enjoyable.
