Worst customer service ever! Not only did they have me waiting in the lobby for about 20 min before they even called me, they also tried to tell me I need full synthetic blend! They drained my car without my consent and I was forced to pay them! I should of called the cops or sued them! They guy who helped me out was very rude and demanding! Jiffy Lube has completed the effort to improve the customer service experience. You are welcomed at the main garage, they escort you to the lobby, point out coffee, water, and restroom locations (restrooms are kept VERY CLEAN, by the way.) The lobby is well lit, clean and made welcome by an awesome A/C. They now have a clerk show you thay THEY DID add new oil to the vehicle as a last point of contact with you as a customer. Very cool. He completed my oil change within 30 min, I am completely satisfied with the work that was needed, and the customer service was over the top. Never going here again, took over an hour. Seemed like most workers were just messing around. Guy tells me "10 more minutes" we walked out 30 minutes later. An associate dropped the F bomb while talking to another associate for all the customers to hear. We finally walked in to pay, he told us "let me go check" then left us at the counter for maybe over 5 minutes while he joked around and laughed with the female co worker. Felt like this place really took advantage due to the fact that this is my first time ever going to jiffy lube for an oil change. I went it asking about the discount code they have going on and the guy attending me told me there wasn't any. He agreed he would take $12 off original price so it would be a total of $35. When the lady rang me up inside she said it was a total of $49.48. One other lady has to let her know it was okay and to put down a promo code. Which was really disappointing. She went through with everything that was done to the vehicle like cleaned floors, air pressure, what type of oil etc. When I got inside my car after I paid my floors weren't vacuumed not one bit. I know these places aren't the fastest but this was SLOW! it took us an hour at least to get out of there. There was a moment where I realized my truck was actually done and 12 minutes later they cashed me out. That doesn't seem like a lot but I was on a tight schedule. Avoid this place!!!!! Had a coupon for a $21.99 oil change. Went to pay and the clerk told me I chose a $90 oil change. 90 dollars!!!??? Then when I questioned him he gave me attitude. I told him I wanted what was on the coupon and he said okay and asked me if I wanted full synthetic or a synthetic blend. Turns out these two options he gave me were additional charge in the small print on the coupon but these were the only options I had!! Came in to get an oil change, took about 20mins then I was out. Everything seemed fine until the next morning I found a huge puddle under my car. Assuming it was oil and I had a leak, I took it to the dealership and they said the oil plug was stripped and cracked. read more

One of the only franchise that accept the Groupon I purchased and when I arrived they informed me they ran out of the oil filter for my 2019 Civic Si and then directed me to the closest Jiffy Lube that accepted the Groupon in Downey. When I arrived to the Downey location they were really confused as to how they could run out of one of the most common thread sizes in oil filters, so they've got to be lying to me because no well managed Jiffy Lube would allow that to happen (my comment not theirs, they did call them liers), and they also informed me they do not accept Groupon. Downey directed me to Los Alamitos where they did accept the Groupon and serviced my vehicle. As for the Bellflower location, they lied to me to avoid working in my vehicle for a simple oil change. Granted I arrived an hour before their closing time, however the other two locations were very accommodating and willing to work with me and with less time before closing. Lastly, the Downey location informed me that was not the first that this Bellflower location has sent both a Groupon client and a client who was lied to regarding their oil filter. I have gone to this Jiffy Lube the last 2 times for maintenance on my 2015 Tacoma and the service has been overall satisfactory. Today however I have to say the customer service was "EXCEPTIONAL" and possibly the best I have received from any company/store for that matter in a very long time. Upon pulling in my vehicle, I was greeted by a friendly young man named Tyryce and he introduced himself and said they would immediately get my vehicle right in. Thereafter he told me I was welcome to wait in the lobby area where courtesy coffee and water were available. A little later on Tyryce came in to discuss the service my vehicle needed. He was very detailed and besides an oil change I went ahead with a differential fluid change as I have a 4wd. He also showed me my filters were dirty and recommended replacement as well. At no time was he pushy but rather showed genuine concern. Upon completion of services, Tyryce took the time to go over every inspection that was done to the vehicle and the status. Right after he shook my hand and thanked me for my continued business . In closing, I am a Chief Operating Officer for a healthcare company and have approximately 60 employees, our main focus is always customer service. I have to say that Tyryce receives a 100% in customer service and with his attitude I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes part of the Jiffy Lube management team in the future. I brought my RV in for a Radiator flush and oil change at the end of August 2020. One technician had me look under the hood and explained I had a leak in the thermostat of which I could see so I OK'd the repair for $400 for all three services. As I waited for a few minutes in the lobby, one of their "head" mechanics came in and told me he had "blew it" on the diagnosis and said that my 93 Toyota RV needed a new water pump and timing belt. Before he told me that, he was shooting the breeze with me about why he was no longer a Toyota mechanic and that he had gone to Jiffy Lube because the "grass was greener". He (Anthony was his name) also had told me that he had been brought in to different Jiffy Lubes to help their business and bottom lines grow. So, I reluctantly OK'd the repairs for a new timing belt and water pump to the tune of $1440.00!!! To say the least, I was really unhappy and thought I have to get this fixed because the unit was overheating. So, after going home, I checked my records and found out that the RV's water pump and timing belt were only 5 years old with 10,000 miles on them. I was steaming mad and knew Anthony was only trying to boost the bottom line for this Jiffy Lube, so I went back the next day before the repairs and told them to only replace the thermostat. They refunded over $1000 so I was relieved that I stopped them in time. I have found out in the past, that this particular Jiffy Lube is never satisfied with doing just what the customer asks, they always find some other "problem". My family has for many years brought their cars and trucks into Jiffy Lube for their oil changes. I am a new driver on the road, so this has only been my second oil change (my first oil change was here too!) Anyways Erik worked on my car both times and he is extremely helpful. He explained to be exactly what my car needed and how often it was needed. He even explained more in depth because I know nothing about cars. In general this Jiffy Lube has always had such amazing service and I am so glad to have these experienced and intelligent staff working on my car. I highly recommend getting an oil change here and checking out their other services as well. They work carefully, thoroughly, and the price is definitely worth it (you get what you pay for). AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Took my Honda Accord there because it's close to home and didn't want to take it over to the dealership service... BIG MISTAKE! Besides trying to sell me everything because my (regularly serviced) car needed so much!! Didn't go for it but the second I drove off the lot I noticed that it sounded and drove differently. Took my car back to the dealership service center a month later because I was worried about all the "bad" things they said was wrong. They did another oil chane and said that the cheap parts they use isn't always best for Honda's... And that there were no other issues. The minute I started the car and drove off, it sounded and drove like normal. Will never trust their abilities again. read more

This Jiffy Lube was good. The mechanic Jim was very helpful. I was at one Jiffy Lube that couldn't do the job because they didn't have the proper tools, so I went to this one which was very helpful. When I explained the situation to Jim he was very helpful in completing the task and making me feel better about the situation. Jim was very helpful and informative. The rest of the workers were helpful and warm also. Despite the long wait due to another situation Allen the manager and Jim the mechanic were very apologetic and nice. Will be returning. read more

Stopped in and checked in... only two cars in front of me both being worked on in the bay. Went to waiting room and about 25 minutes later, still had no update on my car. Looked outside and my car is still in the same spot and both cars are still in the bay. No one seemed to be doing anything on either car in the bay. I am leaving and the lady who checked me in did apologize, but really seemed like she could care less that a customer was leaving unhappy and with no work done. If the wait time is going to be closer to an hour or more, wouldn't it be good customer service to let them know upon check in so they can decide if they want to wait that long? read more

I came here for an oil change and a tire rotation with my fleet vehicle. They tell me it's all done and I read the work scope and they used conventional motor oil instead of the synthetic that the owner's manual requires. I get home and realize they also didn't rotate the tires. I call up and there is no manager in the store today. Their explanation was that their lift could not handle a stock pickup truck. They thought for sure someone must have told me. I will not return to this store when I have to change my oil early because they used the wrong type. They waste my time. read more

Do not under any circumstances take you vehicle to this shop, after having an oil change, transmission service, new plug wires and a new set of spark plugs installed, the gas millage dropped from 22 mpg to 16 mpg, while watching the "mechanic" install the plugs, I asked how long he had been in the business and he replied "I'm in training, but this is what I do", apparently he did not check the plug gap and when asked if he did he replied, they come pre-gapped", I explained to this young man the box clearly states, to check and set the plug gat to manufactures specifications prior to installation, apparently this was not done. So....I called the shop back and wanted to have the vehicle plugs removed and the gap checked and re-installed and was told the mechanic was not in until Thursday, but they could do it, when asked if there would be a service charge since the repairs were not done the first time the asst. manager said I would have to speak with the manager who wouldn't be in until Friday. I then asked if the mechanics certificate was posted for inspection as required by the state, there was dead silence from the asst manager, so I asked is the certification posted, I asked if he had any comment about my request and his response was "No sir, have a nice day" and hung up the phone! So... the BBB and the state licensing board need to get involved to put a stop to this type of "shoddy repair" services. Not Happy at all about this, use common since before using this business!!!!!! read more

This was the last time I ever go to this place as the customer service stinks at the counter and the time that it takes them to do a simple oil change has become way to long. I think the thing that really gets me mad is they told me there was a oil leak/fluid dripping and I park in my driveway with no marks ever so why lie to me. Way to lose a customer bye bye read more
