After arriving they had me pull into the bay myself. I was told to wait inside a minuite for someone to come and I waited 30 minutes, and couldn't find anyone. Finally someone came in and started the process. I don't know of policy has changed, but after it was done, they didn't go over what was actually done to my car. I went out to my car and none of the windows were cleaned, and the front windshield looked like they put water into it and didn't finish. After I went into ask what else wasn't done that said completed on the final receipt, her response was "I can clean you windows now if you want." Completely avoiding or ignoring the question. And then informing me I had a washer fluid leak. Total time with no explanation and 1 other car 1 HOUR 30 MINUTES. read more

I had a very positive experience with this Jiffy Lube location recently. On Wednesday March 24, 2020 I was in need of a battery for my Nissan Versa Note (odd size battery). Called AAA Battery Service first and they don't even sell the battery. Richard (Manager) checked my vehicle and determined that he had a battery in stock and could take care of me. Mario installed the battery quickly and I was on my way. Happy with the service, attitudes and price. Will go back when I need my next oil change. been taking all my cars here for years. Just recently a tire place told me that there was something wrong with the oil pan/plug when they had it up on the rack, and that i should take it back to who services the oil changes. Went back to Jiffy Lube, the refused to take any responsibility, all they would say is "i don't know man". Looks like they lost the original plug, and stuck a larger plug in there, damaging the oil pan and causing an oil leak. The cost to keep a loyal customer has to be less than losing one over an oil pan. read more

I googled the nearest jiffy lube and ended up at this Burbank location. They were great. Friendly upon arrival, completed the oil change quickly, replaced my cabin filter, topped off my coolant and took my coupon no questions asked. This is a really great jiffy lube! I'm usually waiting about 40 minutes for an oil change but I was in and out of this place so fast! They were so kind and let me know everything that was happening. NEVER GOING TO A JIFFY LUBE AGAIN!!! I never felt very sure about using Jiffy Lube, but I decided to try it. When I got there I asked for the prices for oil change, and the guy at the desk told me that depending on the type of oil that I wanted there is different prices, he said that synthetic oil is recommended for my car since it is a 2017 Kia Sorento, and of course that was more expensive. He said that it was going to be $75 for synthetic oil, I told him that I had a coupon for $13 off and asked if I could use it for that service, he said yes and that it would be $75 less the $13 off (which would come down to $62). After about ten minutes they told me that my car was ready and that it was going to be $54, I said wow they discounted even more than the $13, but then I noticed that the invoice was for conventional oil, not synthetic as we accorded! Guess why?? Most likely because they didn't want to honor the coupon so they just added conventional oil and charged less!! Also, in the description of services they said that they cleaned all the windows and they didn't, they also marked that they checked for the radiator overflow tank, which according to them it was "full"; I checked the coolant tank and it was almost EMPTY!! In the tire pressure they marked 35 PSI, which was also not true because one of them was 30 PSI. They also said that they added windshield washer fluid and it was not true either! Those are the things that I'm sure they lied about, but now I'm not sure at all if they really did all of the things marked in the invoice, like replacing the oil filter. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I'M NEVER USING THEM AGAIN. read more

I've been to Jiffy Lube a number of times just not this location so I'm not sure how good the actual work would've been because I left before getting service. A gentleman welcomed me and told me it would be about 45 minutes which was fine because I noticed a few shops across the street and figured I could walk over there for a bit and the same gentleman pointed to another guy and said he'd assist me with getting signed in. This guy seemed flustered and told me to go in the office. After a few moments he never came in to assist so I walked across the street and then I thought perhaps I should call back to confirm the type of oil that I wanted for my vehicle and the young lady told me I need to come back and sign before they would do anything. Of course already bothered I walked back over only to be ignored again so I opted to take my vehicle and leave. I understand that there were about six cars there at the time and the wait period wasn't an issue at all but they need to have a better system to communicate with customer because this left me with a bad taste for this location. I got lubed all right. Good and lubed. This morning the car started acted strangely. And it got me to thinking. When was the last time I checked the oil and jeepers if I just couldn't remember. She was shaking a little at first then the damn light came on. Yep. She's thirsty. And how. I was running errands for the boss man and I see Jiffy Lube. So I pull on in. No line, no nothing. Stopped in for a quick oil change and after the tech asked me if I wanted the interior cabin filter changed for $30, to which I said no, it seemed that all other usual protocol on how paperwork during final check out is done was just tossed aside in order to get me out the door. I stopped going to this Jiffy Lube a few months ago (after having gone here for years) when I found out that oddly enough, the Ford Dealership was way cheaper than Jiffy Lube. How sad is that? My truck would cost me on average, $85.00 for a simple oil change. At Ford, only $29.99 and they rotate the tires, check the brakes and top off the fluids. The best part is, the dealership actually does those things! More often than not, the Jiffy service technician will run through the 40+ items they supposedly did for you as part of the "Signature Service" package. In case you don't read the descriptions on your receipt, those items include: over inflating your tires, topping of your fluids with the wrong type, smearing road grime and bugs on your windshield in an attempt to clean it and leaving dirt stains on your seats and carpeting. My favorite part of the Jiffy experience? The predictability of it all. Once in the waiting room, you can almost countdown to the exact moment when the tech comes in and asks you to follow him/her outside with them. They then show you your vehicle and attempt to explain why your particular manufacturer recommends the following bogus service points. If you politely say "no thanks," they try and scare you with what will happen should you elect not to service said items. One time, they showed me a dirty paper air filter and explained that my engine could blow up if I didn't replace it right now. They also were kind enough to drop the price to $25.00 -- installed. The only problem was that I have a reusable K&N air filter in my truck (so obviously, the filter they showed me wasn't really mine). Once I called the tech out on the "mistake," he tried to back pedal. I can only imagine how many people get ripped off daily by this place. The staff is generally disinterested and could care less about your experience and/or vehicle. If you are car-savy enough to do your own oil changes, then I would consider looking for a more reputable service center outside of the Jiffy chain. I'm done getting lubed by them. 1-star: "Eek! I always, ALWAYS go to a mechanic for my regular oil changes, but this one particular time, I was in a rush and wanted to get it done quickly, so I stopped by the neighborhood Jiffy Lube. I was in and out and on my way pretty quickly, driving off into the sunset in my trusty old buick... Everything was fine until about a week later, when my engine started smoking on the freeway! Don't get me wrong, the buick is old but it sure as hell wasn't fucked up until after my little Jiffy Lube visit. I had to get it towed all the way from Hollywood to my regular mechanic in Burbank, who discovered that there was a mysterious HOLE in the bottom of my radiator, hence the smoke. He didn't even know how it was possible, but guessed that some kind of tool had possibly been left in the engine. So...even though you were initially cheap, you ended up screwing me over with ANOTHER bill from the mechanic. WTF, Jiffy Lube, WTF! read more

Went to Jiffy lube for a very overpriced oil change because my truck was having problems and I wanted them to check all the fluids and make sure everything was alright. The guy didn't listen to what problems I had or answer my question about what type of oil he was going to use. Ok I thought it's an oil change where he checks a few dipsticks it's not a big service he can't really screw it up. Wrong! My car takes 5w-30 oil until it reaches 100k miles then 10w-30 after. My car is at 135,210 miles and he puts 5w-30 in it. not a big problem I know it will work fine with either. he gives me the sticker for my window that says my next oil change is at 133,454 miles??? alright whatever I have a sharpie and correct it. I go home and on the way home I am having trouble with my transmission, first second and reverse are going out. I take it in to Homer's in Monrovia and they check my oil, it's overfull, they check my transmission, 3 quarts low!!! that's enough to do serious damage. they don't have the special toyota type 4 in I need so they give me something that will work to get me back to jiffy lube so they can fix it. I get back there and the manager is very rude, he says my transmission is full, I show him the reciept from the other place that says it was 3 quarts low and tell him I want him to drain and refill my transmission with type 4 toyota fluid. he says he can't do that or give me a refund now and he'll review the security footage to see if they made a mistake. He never gets back to me so I go back. this time they say they still can't fix it and a manager won't be in for another 5 days. (I know this is a lie but I leave anyway) So I come back and talk to a manager no help no apologies he pretty much accuses me of lying and trying to get free service and emptying my transmission myself. Now I'm pissed tomorrow I'm showing up and telling them that I'm taking them to small claims court, wish me luck! read more

I've was a Jiffy Lube customer all my life back in Florida, and I was looking to continue that tradition over here... but not anymore. I've been meaning to get my oil changed for a while, and decided today was the day when I saw their special: "Memorial Day Special! Receive a Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change for $19.99. Offer expires May 31st. Mention Code: YELP19 " So I head down and mention to the mechanic that I would like the Yelp special. He hadn't heard of it, so he asks the manager about it. Manager hasn't heard of it, so I pull up the exact Yelp special on my phone as proof. Now that they can't argue that it doesn't exist, they change their story and state that I need to have a printed coupon. I inform them that the special does not state that a printed coupon is needed-- all I needed to do was mention the code, which I did. The manager tells me that he can't give me the special without a printed coupon for invoicing, but he could give me $9 off the regular price. I decline and tell them that I'm taking my business elsewhere. Looks like this is just a bait and switch deal, further justifying all the other negative reviews of this location. I definitely recommend avoiding at all costs if this is how they try to lure in customers. read more

Do not come here. They are predators. I watched the cashier bring up the pre-generated order for my car year/model, and it said $83.59. I was like "dang that's high for an oil change." But I googled it and the type of oil was correct so I paid for it. When I got home and looked up some specs, I saw my car only takes 3.8 quarts of oil, and they charged me for 5. They also charged $11 for "Oil beyond fill capacity" which is insane because they SELL and make money off the dirty oil removed from your car. All in all, they over-charged me more than $20. Bottom line: They are not worthy of trust. They give car shops their bad name. read more
