I will not be taking any vehicle here again. When the tech informed me that my truck was ready, I asked if the air filter needed to be changed. She told me that she could not access it because they didn't have the proper tools. But, if I had the tools at home it would be easy to check...... WTF??!! And I was told this after they were finished with everything else, so I had no choice but to pay. What kind of an oil change place can't get to your air filter? That place! I appreciate that the tech was honest as she could have just said it was fine. But do yourself a favor and go anywhere else! read more

I was because my oil light came on. This was my first time at jiffy lube but i expected the same upsell pressure i got at the dealer. I was greeted by a young lady who escorted me inside. The young man Chris helped me select the right oil and went over other things recommended for my car. He gave me no pressure while explaning the importance of the services. He was very courteous and professional. I didnt have the money to do the extra services but will definitely be back. Chris gave me hope that not every lube shop is the same. I got my oil changed here about a month ago. It went quickly and was satisfactory. Yesterday, my car's splash shield got torn and was dragging, making the car basically undriveable. Had the worst experience at this store! A day after the first oil change in my new car, the skid plate covering the oil pan fell off and was dragging under the car while on the freeway! I was able to exit the freeway and found a mechanical to examine it. He found the oil drain plug was loose, oil was all over the bottom of the engine, the clips holding the skid plate were missing, and the oil was a 1/2 quart low. When he looked at the top of the engine he found the oil cap loose and oil spilled all over the engine compartment. I had to take the car to the dealer to be fixed. They also examined the car and said it was the worst workmanship they had seen. When I returned to Jiffy Lube to speak to the manager I was told he was out and would be back at 1:00. I returned at 1:00 only to find the store closed and a "gone to lunch" sign in the window. Despite the posted hours being Open Until 5:00. I completed a Jiffy Lube online survey and was then contacted by an Area Manager. He said he would refund the cost of the oil change. I phoned him later saying there was still so much oil all over the engine I needed to get it cleaned and asked they cover that. I have yet to receive my refund or hear back from anyone about the cleaning. read more

The guys working here are great! I came in about 5 minutes before closing expecting to be turned away for coming in so late in the day. But no, they all had smiles and got right to work on my car. I had never been there before but they got me set up in their system in no time. They didn't try to upsale me on any parts or anything, helped me choose the right oil without pointing me to the most expensive one like other places do. They were very friendly and professional. We stopped by this Jiffy Lube on a busy Friday. We were served very quickly and kindly. I went in for an oil change and due to the model of my car they did not have the appropriate filter. But they said we can purchase it from an auto store and they can use that to complete the work. So we did that and they took off $15 from the oil change since I brought my own filter. It took less than an hour to get everything done and have me on my way. I would definitely go back! read more

On Apr 7th I had a full service oil change (premium synthetic) and a couple of weeks out I started noticing an oil spot in my parking garage. I live in Northridge so I went to the Jiffy Lube in Northridge (Reseda). They checked it out and said that the 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan's have a plug that has to be replaced and the other location (Burbank) had not replaced it. They said they would fix it but they did not have the plug and suggested I take it back to Burbank and talk to the manager Chris. They said they tightened it in the mean time.....I look under my suv again and it is leaking oil, so I called to talk to Chris and he was out so I talked to Ruben. Ruben was very nice and said to bring it right in. I took it in on Sunday and told the female intake person the brief version.... while waiting, one of the techs brings me a bolt that has two metal washers on it and he tells me that the plug is new but someone put in metal washers instead of rubber. Hmmmmm? Considering the initial service was performed in Burbank and all the Northridge store did was tighten the bolt...I would say this store (Burbank) used the wrong washers. Either way, this should not have happened at all if your technicians were on top of the differences and needs of my SUV. I am going back to Volkswagen. All of this was time and frustration that should not have even happened. read more

I went in for an oil change and the manager took it upon himself to install a $30 air filter without asking. Not right. They also didn't check my tire pressure, clean my windows or reset my oil life reminder. I had to drive back down there to get them done. I hope they remembered to change the oil. read more
