I visited this location yesterday because I was having an issue with my windshield wiper blade(or so I thought). The two men working there were very apologetic about being understaffed and told me it could be a bit of a wait. After only 15 minutes they came over and told me it was a windshield wiper motor issue and referred me to 2 other places that could fix the issue. Not only did they replace my blades while apologizing that this wouldn't fix the problem, they also filled the windshield wipers fluid and checked my tire pressure free of charge. I came right after I got off work which was about 20 minutes to close and Kevin absolutely hooked me up! I explained the issue I was having and how I was temporarily fixing it and he worked his magic and sent me on my way. This place is run by professionals. I had been before to get my oil changed and they had also replaced the headlight of the car for a very reasonable price. This time I was in a different vehicle and had both a heaqdlight and brake light to swap out. They didn't have the head lamp in stock but by the time they had the oil changed a new bulb arrived from the auto parts store and they got them done at the same time. It was a pleasure watching the team work as a well oiled machine (no pun intended.) This is my new go-to for oil changes. read more

I've been getting my oil changed at the Burien location for a couple years now. But after my last experience I will go out of my way to keep doing business with their crew! I had my engine oil changed last Friday and Eric the manager let me know that the transmission dip-stick tube was broken off when they checked the transmission fluid. Immediately I'm seeing dollar signs and let them know that they were the last ones to touch it as they did a transmission service a month ago. Eric and his team said that they would cover it! They ordered a new transmission dipstick tube, and called me when it came in the very next day. I came down Monday morning and they installed the dip-stick tube (not an easy job on a Chevy Tahoe) with a team effort. Eric, Larry, Joe Jesus... the whole team was involved in making it happen correctly while having fun doing it! This location has amazing leadership as you can see the whole team enjoys what they do and that don't happen by mistake. You have impressed this ol dog with stellar customer service and I'd like it recognized by their peers as this is a location that should be emulated by the rest of your company. Sitting in line and not a single attendant came up to say anything, though they had come out. There are two bays but apparently only using one and it's 3:30 in the afternoon with a truck in the bay and two cars in line. Then the lady in front of me starts backing up but doesn't say anything to me like I'm supposed to read her mind as to what she's doing and gets an attitude with me about it when I asked where she's going as both of us had our windows down in the beautiful sunny day. Then finally after 7 minutes, the same guy that has walked out three times starts directing me to follow in behind the lady in the first bay. I said something to the guy about finally someone saying anything to me and he turns around and walks back into the bay and says to the other guys, "we've got an attitude!" So I comment back, yeah I've got an attitude I've been here nearly ten minutes and this is the first that anyone has said anything to me. Not my idea of good and nowhere near excellent customer service!! So I backed out and left! Yesterday I had another poor experience at a different Jiffy Lube in Olympia where the guy looked at me when I pulled up and shook his head. I looked up their hours to find I was 20 minutes to the closing time. I just want to get an oil change but apparently I have to find another place though I have always used Jiffy Lube! I travel with work and drive a lot so I change both my personal car and work trucks at Jiffy Lube. Two back to back bad experiences at two different locations! Time for a change for sure! My car runs great! All I needed was an oil change. Brought it in to jiffy lube because I purchased the discount from Groupon. The next following day my car wouldn't start from time to time and it just kept stalling. I finally brought it in to GMC dealership in auburn and to find out, there was a hole where they had change my oil! Next thing my car was in the shop for couple weeks because they had to order the part! And jiffy lube told me to replace the air filter so I did with them and to find out later from my husband that it didn't need replacing! I would never set foot here again! My Escalade doesn't deserve this type of service! read more

Very impressed! I've been lucky that my dad is super handy and has always worked on my cars, but when he was busy and my car was in desperate need of an oil change I came here for help. I was nervous because I literally have zero car-service-center experience and had heard horror stories of people (especially people who know virtually nothing about cars, like me) getting taken advantage of or talked into paying for a bunch of crap they don't need. These guys were all Super friendly, set me up in the lobby and got right to work on my oil change without a minute of waiting. Even though I knew my serpentine belt also needed to be replaced (something my dad offered to do for me the next day) they just told me about it and then were totally fine when I passed on having them do that work in addition to the oil change. They even vacuumed my car when they were done which was a nice little bonus for this mom of two kids in car seats :) All in about 20 minutes and for $55, can't really beat it! My only very minor gripe is that their little lobby area is boiling hot (like at least 85 degrees)! Oh well...I'll definitely be back! read more

I drive a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP with around 89,000 miles. I took my car to the Burien, WA Jiffy Lube for an oil change and the associate told me I should get a transmission flush because my car was 30,000 miles over their recommended mileage to do so, which is bad for the car. Being that I know little about cars and assuming I could trust his recommendation as a paid employee, I agreed to get the transmission flush. Around 10 days after the visit, I was driving my car on 1st Ave. and all the sudden it stopped driving in drive. It will drive in manual (slowly and you can tell it doesn't want to) and reverse, but not in drive. Because my car NEVER had any transmission issues prior to the transmission flush, I drove it slowly in manual back to Jiffy Lube and asked them to take a look and make sure it was correctly flushed and taken care of. The associate this time let me know they did everything correctly, but sometimes transmission flushes causes transmissions to basically stop working. If this was a known possibility, why was I not informed BEFORE I agreed to have it done? I would have NEVER agreed to do it! The Burien location filled out paperwork and let me know that the problem is now in corporate's hands, and that corporate would contact me on Monday (7/21) to schedule a 3rd party transmission specialist to take a look and determine a solution. It was a Saturday when it stopped working, so waiting the weekend was understandable. However, Monday passed and despite calling them repeatedly, I have yet to hear a solution from corporate 10 DAYS after my transmission stopped working! That is 10 days I have had no car to go to work in Fremont, go to the gym in Westwood, go to the grocery store, run errands, or live my normal social life. And on top of that the Burien store told me the company does not provide rental cars, even though I am without a car because of them. Corporate hasn't even called to let me know where they are at in the process of scheduling the specialist! They only called once to ask questions I already provided to the local location - nothing more. Needless to say, they took advantage of me. It was an expensive service and now my transmission doesn't work. *UPDATE* Once I posted negative feedback online they finally contacted me and gave me a rental car, while they towed my car to be inspected by a transmission specialist. But today I received a call that said that their 3rd party specialist determined it wasn't their fault (keep in mind my car had NO transmission issues before I had it flushed). If my car was leaking transmission fluid when I brought the car in, wouldn't the team who changed my oil and flushed the transmission fluid have noticed and notified me?! When I demanded to see the review from the mechanic so I can have proof they actually had someone look at it and confirm with my step father who is a mechanic that their findings were appropriate, they said I was not allowed to have it. SO I HAVE NO PROOF THAT ANYONE EVEN LOOKED AT MY CAR. And ever since they towed my car it has been sitting in the same spot at the Jiffy Lube location, so my suspicions aren't unjustified. I was given a manager's number at the warranty department, Doug, but he has not called me back yet. Now I have been cheated, ignored, potentially lied to, and am out a transmission. This is an update on my previous visit. Read on, and you'll see why. Donielle (the manager), though super nice, really, really needs to go into another line of work. She told me I had a crack in my radiator, but two months later, there still is no such crack! (And I'm just dying to tell a joke about being on crack here, but will refrain.) That could have been an expensive and unnecessary fix. Now, when I got there (in Sept.), her employees were doing an oil change for someone who only wanted a top-off, so I knew there was some disorganization going on. They did a short and sweet inspection, filled my coolant level, and showed me of an air filter that needed replacing. This is the only jiffy lube I come to but the last two times, it has been a disappointment, they always change my oil or head lights blinker, along with a little clean up, but now out of 6 on staff today they did not have skill level to change my head light on my HHR. Two weeks ago they gave a bill with no total did not wash my windows or vacume after changing my oil but noted they did.....they lost a customer of 4 years or more today. The Customer service was good I also didn't have to wait long for my car to be done. However, the following week (today) I had a check engine light come on. So I looked under my hood and I noticed that the coolant cap was missing. Also there were screws that were not screwed in properly. I was shocked and upset that I spent my money and time at this location. This oil change was not cheap either. read more

We stopped by for a potential oil change but actually only needed a top off.. there were a couple cars ahead of us and the woman was so nice of us to give us a couple recommendations for places down the street if we were in a hurry. After quickly checking the oil however, to clarify my slight confusion on how much was actually needed, she kindly offered to provide a quicker, cheaper and more convenient option of being able to provide the services here without having to go elsewhere. This is my usual Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed, I go there every three months right as they open because I need to get out before 8:30. As I was cleaning out my car, they don't open until 8 and I got there at 7:50. They let someone drive right in. I was there first but no one came out to my car, no one told me to pull right in and there was still 7 minutes before the place was even open. I've been going there for 4 years now to get my oil changed, highly dissapointed. I have to admit that I rarely see the same employee twice so I'm sure their turnover is quite quick. Usually the service is okay but today I just left, I can't afford to be late to work because someone thought it was okay to cut in front of me and the employees allowed it as well. read more

I get that your job is to up sell me on services, but when someone tells you flat out, "I'd like the bear minimum oil change," that's usually what they mean. The guy helping me tried to guilt me into getting like three different kinds of flushes. And it was more expensive than I was quoted online. He also told me I needed my tires rotated... i bought brand new tires less than a month ago. Every time I go to jiffy lube I feel like I'm getting scammed.
