Blah customer service. Not bad but not good. Also really inappropriate music playing in the lobby. Not customer friendly.

I was the first car in and no one else came in while I was there. The person I spoke with - Derek - was rude! He got annoyed when I was not interested in any of the upsell. When he "cleaned" my windows, he missed spots and, when the paper towels were dirty, smeared the rest. When I called the bad work to his attention, he became very defensive, assigned another employee to fix the problem and stormed off into the office, slamming the door behind him! He said it was "just" windows, not understanding that if the work I can see is shoddy, it does NOT give me confidence that the work I cannot see is proper! I won't be back! read more

I went here to get an oil change and I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was kind and I noticed everyone worked together as a team. They were super fast, vaccumed my floor, changed light bulb, cleaned my windows and they did a thorough job. thanks jiffy lube team! read more

You can believe all the one start reviews this place has. I drive a 2007 Mazda 3, I've been to this place twice for oil changes, and they've screwed it up both times. The first time, they somehow managed to forget to ratchet the oil plug back in. So I wound up leaking oil all over the place for a day or so before I noticed it. I wriggled under the car (good think I'm skinny) and found that the oil plug hadn't been tightened, just loosely put back in the oil pan. I fixed it myself, and then called them to complain. They were very apologetic, and said they would make a note of the people on shift when the oil was originally changed and address the problem. Second time was earlier today. There's a skid plate on the front end of the car, and they for some reason needed to remove it. When they put it back on, they only put bolts in for one side. Halfway down the block as I was driving away, it came loose on that side. It made a terrible racket, scared the hell out of me, and very easily could have caused an accident. I had some zip ties in the back, so I zip tied it loosely into place and went back to have them fix it. Again, they were apologetic and didn't get in my face when I yelled at them. Glad it didn't cause any serious damage. So attention to detail is apparently a foreign concept at this place. When working on cars, it's kind of an important thing to have. I'm no mechanic, but replacing bolts and tightening them properly seems like mechanic 101. These guys apparently failed that class, and were offered jobs regardless. Stay away. read more

Went to this particular jiffy lube in Burien and was more than pleased. Ronnie was my tech. Unfortunately they were trying to replace a part and it cracked. Ronnie was MORE than accommodating! He was honest and told me it was his fault, but they would go down to the dealership and get the replacement part, because they didn't have the right one there. I found his honesty and integrity EXTREMELY refreshing. Thank you to all the guys there for not letting me go with a broken part. read more

I don't usually go on negative rants like this, but I had a bad experience here and some of you may be interested in hearing it. I stopped in for an oil change about a week before Christmas. The next day my dog and I set off on our annual trip to California to see Mom for the holidays. About 20 miles outside of Chehalis(on Hwy 12 due to train derailment) I was forced to pull over due to extreme low oil pressure. There was no cell coverage at the car. I had to walk half a mile to a gas station to speak to anyone. I called 5 different mechanics and none was willing to look at the car before Christmas. I finally got one to agree to keep the car until they were able to look at it. I had to wait 3 hours at 37 degrees for a tow, then had a $100 uber in the wrong direction in order to get a rental car. A few days after Christmas the mechanic calls and says the problem was a loose oil filter. I contacted the local office with the details and was told I would be contacted by a district manager. That was 2 weeks ago and no one has called. I sent a detailed explanation to the corporate legal department requesting to speak to someone on how this might be resolved. No response there either. I know the fallout for the mistake was not Jiffy's fault directly. I would have hoped, though, that someone there would at least talk to me about it. I am still waiting. Now I will be forced to pursue this in small claims court, which I never wanted. It is disappointing. If anyone else has a similar problem, make sure you read the back of your receipt very carefully. If you not opt out of Jiffy's mandatory arbitration you will be severely limited in what you can claim in damages. read more

I came with my husband on Friday about 4 pm a guy came and told us they are closing for an emergency and we left. Today is Tuesday after 6 pm we thought we would get our vehicle serviced that is oil change etc a guy came and told us again sorry they are closing .I told him you are the same guy who told us last week you have an emergency. He quickly responded no. As we turned to leave we saw about three guys whom are workers having a cuppa - I think you should have your closing time as 6 pm and not 7 pm. read more

I only write reviews on Yelp when the service is overwhelmingly good or bad, and today Jiffy Lube exceeded my expectations. Rio was very friendly and informative in walking me through the couple different options for oil changes, cabin air filter and a couple other things. I knew what I wanted when I walked in and even though she mentioned the upsells she wasn't pushy when I politely declined. The oil change was quick and painless but what really got my attention is when I saw Chad vacuuming the front carpets in my Mazda. I've paid for my good share of oil changes and never have I seen someone do any type of cleaning of the interior. Then I watched Rio grab a squeegee and wipe down my rear window and windshield. This was a complimentary service and by no means was it expected, but boy was it appreciated. I own three cars and for as long as I'm in Burien I will take each and every one to this Jiffy Lube because my experience today was so positive. Thanks guys! read more

No need to ever come back. Guy at the computer was rude, exceptionally rude. I was the only customer, fairly early in the morning, and I assume I upset his routine of watching college football at full volume and chain smoking inside the lobby. They get an extra star because guy actually working had no problem removing a jammed oil plug and filter I wasnt able to remove due to it being ober torqued last time I was in. I had low expections of a routine oil change, yet still managed to leave dissapointed. read more

Worst experience ever! I'll never go back. The toilet had feces all over it, there wasn't coffee, But when it came time to enter my info, He offered synthetic blend. NO, MY CAR RUNS ON FULL SYNTHETIC. Groupon had a $19.99 deal, I expected to pay more. But not pay $65.00 for a blend. Car wasn't vacuumed. There's a Buckys sticker on my windshield, that clearly states full synthetic. After I left, read my receipt, and they didn't answer the phone after 5 calls, I called Tukwila. Chelsea was extremely accommodating, changed my filter, and oil to Synthetic. Vacuumed, in extremely efficient time. Burien won't ever see me again. read more

The young men, Shaun and Anthony, at the Burien Jiffy Lube are outstanding!!! I received Nordstrom service from both of them. Anthony and Shaun were polite, patient and very kind. Shaun, in particular, took extra time to explain an oil pan plug situation I had been dealing with. He freely shared with me my options of how fix it. He then told me I could come back in a few days and any technician on duty would check the plug again for me. Being female, I can't tell you how meaningful it is to have people you can trust when it comes to car troubles. Before I got of the car in the rain, Donnielle was on her way out with an umbrella. I was surprised because the Jiffy Lube in Houston I went to last made no extra effort to help me. There were three employees on duty and each of them were friendly and professional. They made an effort to answer all questions and gave very helpful advice that is greatly appreciated. Jiffy Lube should realize what great employees they have at store # 2079 and give all three a raise to show they appreciate the tremendous effort and the extra mile their employees go to ensure customers return for repeat service. In a world where there is great competition where automotive service is concerned, it would be great if the next time I go to store #2079 (and I will return), Donnielle tells me that Jiffy Lube upper management gave all three of the employees a raise. Just checked in for a conventional oil change here. Cold reception like I was bothering these 2 guys. $49 for an oil change is almost twice the cost of the jiffy lube in Vancouver. When I said "really?", I got a smug "yeah, They're already doing it and I am overdue so I am proceeding, but needless to say that I won't be back. read more

This Jiffy Lube is fantastic! I won't go anywhere else. I went in and got fixed right up. They also told me I had a hole in my radiator bottle and if I bought one from a dealer I could bring it back and they would install for free. Well--I did and they did! Donielle was fantastic. Amazing service, barely walked two steps towards the door before an employee came to assist me. She was quick, direct, easy to talk to and friendly. Fast service, even vacuumed my car and cleaned up all the trash while I waited for my oil change. First review in at least 2 years. In and out in 10-15 mins. Highly recommend. read more

Someone told me that you could get free oil checks and tops offs at the lube. I didn't believe it. Drive by and checked it out. I was in and out in 5 minutes with a little oil and window fluid added.
