8 PM on a Friday is quiet here, walked right in, ordered and food came out pretty quick. Staff were busy the whole time, no laziness there which is great to see. Tonight I had the KCC Burrito. It's like a fajita and a Cali burrito hooked up on a quesadilla and wrapped themselves in it like a warm cheesey blanket. Every bite of tortilla has the cheese, the fries, though not crispy, weren't a distraction or overwhelming. The onions and peppers were great flavor additions to the guacamole and sour cream. The carne asada here is a nice thin strip cut, so it's got a great texture in the chew, flavorful and tender. This burrito is juicy! Do not try to eat this in your lap, in the car or on the couch, you WILL drip. The sweat from the peppers and onions get all the flavor juices flowing, great in your mouth, not on your pants. Definitely going to be a local burrito I come back to when I just want something I already know is going to be good.

I've never been disappointed in the food, the service, or the restaurant and its cleanliness. The Fish taco is SO good and affordable. My husband ordered the pollo asada burrito. We were both very happy with the Taste, the hot sauce selection, The hot carrots, and the servings were so very generous. We're stuffed with leftovers for $22! Awesome.

We taught about Tacos for lunch and referred to Yelp for a decent place to obtain them and found Jilbertos on Margarita near the East Cafe. The place was clean inside and the order came out quickly. We ordered the following food items: - 2 large fish tacos - 2 mini pollo tacos Everything was good. The tortillas and the veggies that came with them were all fresh and crunchy. The fried fish was tasty but a little small and thin for the large category. The chicken, although considerably favorable, lacked the seasoning but came out okay with the sauce. This place is not that bad at all.

Didn't follow directions and when you get takeout and eat it away, you aren't coming back. Details are everything! They even wrote no potatoes on my burrito and it was loaded and wrong burrito! Epic Fail on a simple request.

The service was excellent and they started us out with chips drizzled with black beans and salad. Their hot salsa horchata was the best my Mexican mom ever had! Their hot salsa bar had mild, medium, spicy and extra spice and all of them were flavorful had brought good heat to the dishes. My family ordered enchiladas, chille relleno, birria plate and the vegetable burrito with fries instead of potatoes. YUMMM! Every l dish was a knock out -- super delicious. Even my finicky 10 year old niece loved her food. We finished with tres leches cake which was also super good. We ate so fast we forgot to take pics!

She was nice and pleasant. Place is nice and clean. Music isn't too loud. Great atmosphere

With that being said, parking can be difficult because Old Town tends to get very busy on a Saturday. We walked in and it was not busy. The host/server told us to pick any table we would like. We chose outside, but they had just cleaned up the area, so our chairs were stacked. The host/server quickly helped us get the chairs down and place them at our table. The server was attentive and kept checking in on us. Now the food. When we were sat down, we were given complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were perfect and not overly salty or greasy. The salsa was very mild and had a great flavor. I ordered a 2 taco combo plate ($14.95) with carne asada and carnitas. The carne asada was just okay, it was cut into thicker piece, which is not my preference. It was also topped with guacamole, which was not the best I've had. The carnitas however were magnificent topped with pickled onions, cilantro, and salsa. The rice was not traditional Mexican rice and did have a bit of a crunch to it rather than a toast before cooking. The beans were just plain pinto beans, not refried beans, but they were good. While this place, is not extremely traditional, it is a great spot in Old Town Temecula with fairly good food. I'm looking forward to coming back again.

I noticed Espadín had tables and thought it was worth a shot. Also, it was getting really hot and I was ready for some air conditioning. We were seated immediately and our server got our drinks. We ordered a grilled Caesar salad, green chilaquiles with eggs, and guacamole. The guacamole was so fresh and had a great lime flavor. The grilled Caesar was the star of the show! The dressing was amazing. The chilaquiles were also good. I was a little nervous at first since they weren't busy when we walked in compared to the other restaurants on the street, but it ended up being a great surprise how good everything was!

From the moment you walked in the place was totally decked out for the America 250 theme. They really went all out and it was awesome. This place is huge by the way. Many rooms with soooo much seating but wr sat in the bar to see the US take on Paraguay in the World Cup match. Lots of TV's to see from any seat. Our server was delightful, so attentive and just really good at her job. I wish I would have gotten her name. She was wearing a Mexico FIFA jersey though. The food was dynamite! Everything on my combo plate was fire. The taco, enchilada and the especially the chill rellenoes! The batter was so thick and moist it was awesome. My mango chili margarita was great too. Awesome place, go have some great food and service at the Mexico Cafe!

Hi Sandy - it was pretty good. I ordered the three item combo plus albondigas soup (only $3.50…read moreextra). The soup was good and hot - the way I like it. Service was super fast... almost too fast? For a graduation day I was surprised the place wasn't packed. I just get the soup it seems and the entree was already there! So the beans and rice got a little cold. The tacos were not that large but heck there was a lot of food after some nice chips and salsa. The chili relleno was the star. I took half of it home with the rice and beans (and salsa) and it made just the best left over burrito. The margaritas were super cheap and tasty - only $8.00 or so. My son lives just down the road near Pechanga so it's really close by. My question always is would I come back again? You bet. Great atmosphere, attentive service, good food and drink at a decent price.

Came here during a weekend while the game was playing and sat at the bar. Was very busy bit the server was very nice and answered my questions on the menu. The crowd was very lively and it was loud due to the excitement. I ordered the enchiladas with chicken and green sauce. I like to try different restaurants enchiladas, and thesewere very good in my opinion. Chicken was flavorful and not tough or chewy. The sauce had a nice tang to it. They came with rice and beans on the side which i also enjoyed. I love that they still do free chips and salsa, and they are very good too. I believe the chips are made in house and the taste very fresh. The salsa is not too hot, and i love the taste. I also ordered a pomegranate margarita which was good. It has just a slight pomegranate taste and didn't taste sickly sweet like some restaurants do. Also, it was pretty big! I'll definitely come back here to try more things!

As for the full meal, everyone enjoyed their food and felt like they could absolutely eat here again.
