Pretty good pizza. We tried their location off Beltline in Addison. Only issue is they only have one parking spot designated in the front and it's pretty hard to get to if the comedy club next door is busy. Tried their sweet revenge pizza - by far their best one Service was pretty quick when we went to pick up. Staff is nice. This location is pick up only - there is no dining area. read more

I live by this place and wanted to give this a shot. I thought it was pretty cool that you pick up from a window like drive thru. First time ordering a pizza I did not know what to expect but I didn't want to do anything crazy. I seen the OG pizza with pepperoni and hot giardenera peppers and that's what I got with wings. The pizza was overall good crust was just like bar standard crust but it was good. The wings I would say 5/10 nothing special too much batter. read more

. I read all these reviews about how good the pizza is here. And since I moved to this area a few years ago I had never tried it until now. They had a buy one get one free medium pizza special. Talk about disappointing, ive had frozen pizzas from walmart that were better. The crust had a lot of air in it, and there was virtually no taste to it. I would go to a mini mart that has a pizza grill instead of this place. Oh and it was 20 bucks for a medium pizza which imo was worth 20.cents. read more

I find myself in Dallas TX for work for the next few months and I don't cook, so that means I depend on professionals to feed me. I prefer to walk to restaurants, and it's fortunate that Addison has so many to choose from... and I will be visiting those that meet my needs. Last night, I paid a visit to Zalat Pizza... it's So good! I ordered the 12" pepperoni pizza, which is exactly what I enjoy, and it exceeded my expectations: fresh, hot with a thin soda crust and fresh cheese and plenty of pepperoni topping. Zalat is a cashless enterprise, like many places around here. There's no indoor or outdoor seating, either, but my hotel is directly behind the business, so I am fine with it. I had the longest piece of hair in a pizza i got from the Addison location and have not been back since. It's unfortunate because it's the location closest to me and i really did like the pizza before that experience. Imagine biting into a slice and pulling out a never ending strand of hair from your mouth. Certainly traumatized! read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars because it is my go to pickup pizza place. They are quick and delicious. If you are looking to try one of their more interesting flavors get the Sweet Revenge! It was supposed to be a seasonal one that was so good they added it onto the menu permanently. Is this the best pizza in Addison? No. But you can't get something this fast for pickup with this quality anywhere else. This is your football game but we are ordering pizza kinda place. read more

I tried ordering pizza on the website for delivery, but the website kept erasing my order. So I called the Addison location to call in an order. The guy who picked up sounded bored. As I started to place my order, I was adding items to my 12" pizza and he said "really? You gonna add that? Ugh!" So I continued with my order and and added on another pizza. He asked "same size", and I replied, "No, I want the medium; the 14-inch." He said the medium is the 12". I said "I'm looking at your website right now and the small is the 12", medium 14", and large is 16". He then raises his voice to tell the other employees, "hey guys, you hear this? This guy says the 12" is the small! Have y'all ever heard that?" and then proceeds to laugh. So I hung up and will not be back here read more

I am disappointed to say the least. We had issues ordering online so we chose to use a delivery service. They didn't send the sodas we ordered, which was sucky. Then the garlic bread appetizer had no flavor outside of the marinara which was insanely small compared to the product so it was gone before 1/2 the item was done. The pizza was ok I guess, it wasn't bad but by no means worth it. We will not be back. After everything we hear about Zalat we thought it would be worth a try. Absolutely not worth the money spent and definitely not happy about that. Plenty of great spots in the area. This is not one. read more

I like their marketing and alternative vibe but at the end of the day it's about the pizza. Toppings were scarce and there was WAY too much crust around the outside. Then you want to charge $25 for an 18" pie? BBQ bacon cheeseburger, Sweet Revenge, and Buffalo Chicken were all underwhelming. read more

I loveeee me some Zalat Pizza!!! I've been to 3 different locations so far but this one is my favorite! The pizza smelled so good that I had to eat 2 slices before driving off hahaha I always get the Pepperoni Masterclass and it hits EVERY TIME. Its covered in 100% BEEF pepperoni and has garlic and oregano with a dash of black pepper. It's a bit greasy but I love it like that. I crave this pizza once a week no kidding!! read more

I got everything I wanted and more. Ordered the pepperoni masterclass and because of Angela and Bruno- I learn a LESSON. Zalat pizza is the BEST place in Dallas, Texas to satisfy my pizza craving. Zalat off Fergason is top notch... for pick up. Zalat in Addison uses Doordash and the drivers are TERRIBLE! They use an app so you can see the driver's progress, so when they stop and take a 15 minute break at Prestonwood Park to then deliver a cold pizza, or just don't even deliver it (but send a picture of a pizza on grass [somewhere] to prove that they did) so you can see it in real time. Zalat has okay pizza (Carmine's is Way better) but cold pizza from an unaccountable driver who doesn't give a crap is the worst. read more

10pm Tuesday night, the Za light is on, my stomach say Yes! We need that right now!!! Ok so boom, turn into, parking lot empty, walk up to the door, nice lady comes to the window, is super pleasant taking my order even though it looks like they want to get ready to close. Easy order, pepperoni & pineapple (keep your judgement.. lol) and she tells me 20 mins. Ok cool, Wait in the car, got a text in like 15 that my pizza was ready, was about to get out to get it when the friendly window lady was right there with my pie! Awesome customer service!! Fast forward 10 mins, I make it home, open the box and not only a fantastic looking pizza but also a nice handwritten note on the box telling me to have a "slice" (nice) night! I love it!!! Had to submit my review!! Please excuse the missing slice, had to taste test, it most certainly did not disappoint!!!! We usually order the Zealot or Pepperoni Masterclass but once we ordered a Rueben pizza from Frisco. I have ordered pizza from this location on several occasions. It has always been good with the exception of the crust being rock hard. The last time I ordered through DoorDash I got a big written message on the pizza box asking me to order from them directly. Fine, I don't have a problem with that. When I ordered most recently, Sunday (9/05), I ordered from the site directly. Big mistake. The person who delivered my food (who ended up being a DoorDash driver btw???) asked me to come down and I said I couldn't and that I gave detailed instructions to get to my apt. They never responded but left the pizza on my door step, I was never notified. On top of all that we didn't get any parm or red pepper packets (they were requested). Heard big game about this place so I had to try it out. Went online, tried to place an online order for pick up. Their ordering platform (Toast) wasn't working. Ok, plan B- UberEats. Toss in the order. Play the waiting game. Pizza arrives. Cold. Already waited about 40 minutes and I was hungry so I decided to eat it anyway. Not entirely sure what the hype is about. Maybe if the pizza was warm, I'd have a better judgement on it, but I wasn't blown away by anything. Don't know if this is the norm, but if it is, I'll go elsewhere for pizza. read more

Pizza is delicious but the owner must be super rich and running this place for fun. Ordered a cheese pizza through Grubhub and they decided to send me a Reaper Roulette Pizza for fun. It's some kind of spicy burning hot pizza that I can't eat. I think they might not like people ordering through Grubhub, so I'll oblige and just stop ordering from them. Pizza was average. Service was ok. The lady at the window was really nice. The pretzel bites with beer cheese was pretty good. Overall, the pizza was better than a place like Pizza Hut or Domino's but nothing that I would go crazy for. I went here because it was convenient because it was close to my hotel. If you're looking for Pizza to just feed the family quick then this is your place, but if you're looking for great Pizza than this isn't the place you want. read more

My wife and I just moved to the area and we are tired of ordering from the major pizza brands. We decided to order from here (on uber eats) and absolutely loved it! The box however said to order from their website, so we did. The pizza arrived faster, tasted fresher, and it was cheaper. We got delivery for the first time from here the other night. Ordered a 18" Pepperoni Masterclass $21.00 and a 14" Elote $17.25. I will start off but saying the crust is thinner which I liked. The hand written accuracy signature is a really nice touch as accuracy is the most important thing with any delivery order. The pepperoni masterclass was just okay, very greasy and didn't really taste any different than your typical pepperoni pizza. I love elote and this had all the elements but for the size and cost it just doesn't seem worth it to me, value wise. The best part of either pizza was the complimentary Sirancha cups that came with them. All in all, just okay. read more

If I could rate this a zero I absolutely would. I have never been more disappointed with trying to get a pizza. I placed an order at 5:51 PM with the expectation that it would be ready at 7:15 PM needless to say it wasn't. They checked on my order after I called a second time at 7:25 PM and I was told it would take an additional 15 minutes. After those 15 minutes I called back and was told that it would take at least another 20 minutes for my meal. Absolutely disgusted with my experience, I requested a refund and left. I will never return back even if someone offered me a free pizza. read more

History

Established in 2015.

Khanh Nguyen has told his life story about a million times. So it seems anyway, judging by the ongoing blitzkrieg of media coverage earned by his Dallas-based concept, ZaLat Pizza. Fortunately, the story is anything but dull. As a child, he and his family narrowly escaped Vietnam as communist forces took over in 1975. He became a corporate attorney, then a software startup CEO, then the owner of DaLat, a Vietnamese restaurant and bar in Dallas. He even lit the spark, so to speak, that ignited Uber Eats. But ZaLat Pizza just might be Nguyen’s crowning achievement—and that’s saying a lot. Named one of the “5 Hot Concepts” for 2021 by Nation’s Restaurant News, ZaLat’s first store opened in 2015. Now there are 17 locations around Texas, all of them company-owned, including the latest one that opened in Houston. At least six more are in construction now, and all but one focuses exclusively on delivery and carryout.

The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets.
