Love this place, I'm famous for always writing a review way after I should. This place has great service and the pizza is really good. Great date spot!

Menu is extensive https://www.yelp.com/menu/johnnies-los-angeles-7 But it's the All Star Pizza we love!

"To sum up, consistency is not just a goal to strive for in restaurant operations; it's an essential ingredient for success. It builds customer trust and loyalty, ensures quality control, streamlines operations, facilitates staff training and development, and provides a competitive edge. Feb 23, 2024"* Johnnie's gets that philosophy, that business model. We continue to order the cheese pie just like we remember, expect from the last time (There have been many reprises since my original review.) All I must say is, this pie was as good as the previous pies! Happy Johnnie's still offers a 12" pizza. From my 2018 review: "Thin, crispy crust, not mushy in the middle so slice 'folds' properly. Savory well-seasoned red sauce spread evenly. Mozzarella distributed with a light hand." Delivery available. We pick up. Parking on Ensley Avenue or at a pay station on little Santa Monica Boulevard. * https://tripleseat.com/blog/why-consistency-is-vital-for-restaurant-operations/

In short, I don't regret coming here but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it again either. Pizza it's pretty good but basic, good though if you want a convenient lunch option. Although, I did have their Italian quesadilla which is basically a medium pizza golden in half, but it is slightly cheaper than the medium pizza so worth that deal there. They also make slices and the Italian quesadillas here pretty quickly too if you need a meal to go in a pinch

Really like their pizza but ordered wings this time and disappointed by the size of these wings! And there was actually a smaller one than this one pictured.

I always mean to come here more often than I do. They have parking in the back but I usually park on the street. I buy pizza by the slice here and it's always delicious. It's nice and fresh out of the oven. The staff here always treats me great. Nothing fancy about this place which is fine, and I'm glad I'm always able to get a seat by the window. Looking forward to coming back to try different things!

Johnnie's New York Pizza is located right near Santa Monica. It is a great place for lunch or dinner. You can eat there, have it delivered or pick it up. Parking is not the best but you will be able to find a spot. Johnnie's pizza is real New York style pizza and you will love it. Nothing is made ahead of time, and all their food is fresh and amazing. They make the best pizza. A large is big enough for 4 people if you also order another dish, otherwise it is perfect for 3 people. All of their ingredients are fresh and so good. They will add whatever toppings you want or you can just get a plain cheese, which is super. I also love their pasta dishes. They make a super tasty lasagna, and their ravioli is great. The best are their garlic rolls. They are always fresh and just loaded with that garlic flavor you love. The service is excellent and they never get my order wrong. So go there and have fun.

Charming on the outside and with an inside decorated with tables fitted with traditional checkered Italian tablecloth. Located right across the street from the Westfield mall, this simple Italian eatery offers a range of traditional Italian sandwiches. Like eggplant, Parmesan, pizza, appetizers, and salads. The vibe is loose and hip but the food is of decent quality The pizza is pretty simple and thin crust, not offering much to help it stand out compared to most other Italian pizza restaurants. But the ambience and wide menu of choices provides it with enough personality. Would I ever come back here? Not sure... but I am glad to have finally tried a preeminent Los Angeles pizza establishment in an otherwise charming neighborhood.

Pizza Pizza Pizza. pepperoni pizza wad yummy. Good crust and cheese. Not too much grease. Garlic knots were good but not my favorite. Little dry. There is free shared parking behind the building which is fabulous for LA. Inside was old school traditional Pizza place. Could use some updating. We ordered at the counter and sat down at an open table. Woman who took our order also delivered our food. Quick and efficient

I have a major complaint about Johnnys Pizza in century city. I called the restaurant to ask questions about whether or not the pizza is safe for our family because we have food allergies. Simple questions like is there cross contamination with eggs and nuts, etc. Not only did they refuse to answer my question, they told me that I'm harassing them, since I called more than once due to getting disconnected in the parking lot. I truly just live in the neighborhood and want to know if the pizza would be safe for our family to order and they said they are refusing service to me. They told me how dare I ask them questions in the middle of their busy day. Having food allergies is a disability and it is illegal to discriminate against a customer due to a disability. This is immoral and illegal. I asked to speak to the owner of the restaurant to let them know that 1. Their staff is completely ignorant about food allergies and 2. It's illegal to refuse service to a customer based on disability. "You have food allergies so we will not tell you what goes in the same pizza oven and we refuse service to you because it's 11:00am and it's a busy day" I have never ever left a bad review for any establishment but I am so appalled by 1. The amount of ignorance that food establishment manager could have about food allergens and 2. That someone could discriminate against our family for having a disability. We eat out at restaurants allllllll the time and we are usually treated with kindness and the restaurant works with me to figure out whether or not an item is safe for us. A manager of a restaurant should be educated about top 10 food allergens. Period. This is appalling, illegal, immoral, and disgusting. The manager told me he refuses to give my phone number to the owner of the company so that is why I'm making this review. To bring light to how disgusting some restaurants can treat their customers. The manager told me I am not even a customer because he doesn't see any orders in my name, which is not true because we have ordered before under my husbands name.

Best pastrami, pickles and fries. The fries are good even when they get cold. And the pastrami just hits the spot with salty goodness.

The menu was smaller than expected. Our group of four shared the caesar salad, meatballs, pepperoni pizza, and roasted mushroom pizza. The appetizers came out quickly, but the pizzas took a while due to what seemed like a miscommunication. They were waiting for us to finish our starters before bringing them out. The pizzas were easy to share, though a bit salty. The pepperoni pizza also had a few overly burnt slices on the bottom. Service was a little confusing. We ordered at the register, had to flag someone down for water, and weren't quite sure if it was self-service or not. Overall, the food was good and the patio has a great vibe, but it's not a spot I'd go out of my way to revisit.

Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

I finally went back and tried one of their vegan pastas I hadn't tried before, and there was meat in it (pancetta). I literally am feeling sick to my stomach--I'm pescatarian + non-dairy and stopped eating meat in 2013 so I'm sure you can imagine. The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. Do not risk it if you are vegan.
