Enjoyed Enzo's cheese pizza via delivery back in 2022. Famished in the neighborhood yesterday, ordered a Pizza Margherita to-go. Ride home was longer than wait time. Within the box was an authentic Pizza Margherita so tempting it required restraint to let the camera eat first. Thin crust, lightly sauced, mozzarella, seeded fresh tomatoes, fresh basil chiffonade both artfully garnished to allow the the pizza hot out of the oven to wilt not cook those ingredients. As I devoured my second slice, I updated my four-year-old review to post today. Being old school, I prefer to write on my MacBook then copy and paste to Yelp. In the spirit of accuracy, I read my previous reviews. Ready to post, I accessed Enzo's Yelp page and found the following requiring me to revise this update. WHAAAT? On Enzo's Yelp page, a warning. A Health Department "C" Rating of "increased risk to public health" was detailed by way of 18 really scary violations as of 7-30-26. Enzo's as per prior Health Department Ratings within the warning has fluctuated from "A" & "B" ratings since 2022. WHAAAT happened? How is it possible to turn out a quality product yet ignore the basics, especially in this in-the-news concern over foodborne illnesses? Inadequate staffing? No one willing (or afraid) to work? Cut expenditure to increase profitability? I dunno... Would I order Enzo's in the future? Full pie to-go. Picked it up at the time they told me it would be ready. Meh. You know how after you order something - food or anything - you get several 'opportunities' to give feedback for quality and training purposes? Well, after a pizza (a full pie, not a slice) that wasn't close to hot, and had really nothing memorable about it as a pizza, plus a salad that was nothing close to fresh, I responded. Often, you might hear back when you do respond. In this case, crickets. I did not hear back. If it's to-go, and I'm picking it up at the appointed time they determined, then I expect a fresh meal. Nothing about Enzo's Pizzeria tasted fresh. There was one person in back - and for all I know, the guy was doing everything there. When I walked in, it was empty. Maybe one or two customers in the seating area (which is pretty big and no doubt benefits from the college traffic when school's in session). After a few minutes, the guy appeared, gave my food (which was already waiting for pick up). Got back, got ready, got disappointed. Never tried Enzo before. Maybe they just had an off night. This was end of June, 2026. Pizza not great. Customer service asleep at the wheel. There are too many other choices to try them again anytime soon. read more

Ordered online a pizza with various toppings. Checked the box that said, "well done" as in a crisper crust. Pizza arrived and they definitely didn't read the order. Pizza was soft and chewy. Toppings were not scattered evenly, with some slices not having any toppings on it. Don't give options if you're not going to read them. To their credit, mgt offered a discount on a future order. i'm honestly shocked i don't already have a review up for enzo's pizzeria because i feel like this has lowkey become my go-to pizza spot in westwood without me even realizing it i've had their pizza so many times at my workplace at the hospital just because it's so close by, but i've also dined in before and it was really nice. Our family was in town for the graduation of our son from UCLA. During his time in Westwood he also worked at Enzo's so we were all excited to see Enzo's and try the food. We had two types of salad, four pizzas and buffalo wings. Everything was delicious. The salads were crisp and the dressings were great, I think all made in house. The wings were crispy and very flavorful. The pizza had a nice undercarriage and crispy crust and was just the way I like my pizza. Thank you to Ramin and crew for an outstanding lunch experience. I was headed to Danny Boy's, but decided to only get one slice there, so I could stop by and check out this long standing pizza institution. Unfortunately, it only took one bite from Enzo's for me to regret that decision. The slice costs less than $6 and was quite large, but that's where the positives end. Ingredients don't taste fresh, there's not a lot of flavor and, simply put, the pizza was off putting. Nothing about Enzo's was welcoming. The interior looks abandoned and dirty. The guy behind the counter was sitting down preoccupied with his laptop. He took my order without even glancing up at me. We only made eye contact when it was time for me to pay. I came in around lunch time and it was empty. My guess is everyone else already caught on to how bad the pizza is here. I'm particularly baffled by how they're still open since Danny Boy's is right across the street and checks every box Enzo's couldn't. read more

My wife and I got a Groupon here thinking we'd give it a try, and we decided to make it a pasta night, rather than trying the pizza our first time. I was impressed with both the quality and the portions. I got the chicken Parmesan dinner and my wife got the baked ziti. Both had excellent flavor and they really give you a lot for the order! The tomato sauce with the penne and chicken parm had some lovely sweetness to it, and the garlic bread had fresh garlic and butter on it that made the flavor pop. I really came away happy and full - exactly what I want to happen when I get Italian food. As a disclaimer I am very picky with my pizza since I'm from the east coast. They sell NY styled pizzas here and yes the slices are HUGE BUT I felt like the food was a little too salty. Nothing out of the ordinary but is nice for easy delivery to UCLA campus. The delivery person dropped one of our pizzas and drove back to get a new one very fast. I ordered a gluten free pizza from Enzo's. While their kitchen doesn't promise to be celiac safe, I didn't experience any discomfort afterwards (risky but very grateful). The pizza was so good I didn't even take a picture. The crust was perfectly crispy, the ranch was perfect. I'm definitely looking forward to my next personal pan. The only con is of course pricing. Eating gluten free is always going to be more expensive for smaller quantities. It was a long day at work so we ordered pizza as a comfort food during our lunch. However, there was cardboard or something not edible in our pizza. I thought it was maybe a really hard piece of dough but when we tried to break it apart or bite it. It was really hard. This made us believe it was cardboard. Then we tried eating another slice and we found more cardboard in the other one. Not enjoyable and very unfortunate because we had to pick at the pizza to make sure it was edible. Some co works decided not to eat at all. I called Enzo's to complain but they just told me to send my photos to a number and never followed up. read more

The old Enzo has moved to a new location with a new owner. It is not the same owner so the food is not exactly the same, but the pizza is good.
