Food was undercooked. The cashier had an attitude the entire time I was ordering. There was 1 girl that was nice(did not get her name but she was skinny) had she not been here I would have given just 1 star. Manager wasn't as friendly when I mentioned our food was undercooked. Very happy they came back as we used to go to the one at the Westfield Santa Anita mall. Seating is tight if you come during popular times as we did during Friday at 6pm since you order and then seat yourself. It is only been open a week and they are working out their systems. Our food came out in about 15 min or so but we expected that because of the dinner crush. I know they will get it dialed in. We had the Route 66, kids burger meal, grilled chicken sandwich wrapped in lettuce, chili cheese fries, milk shake and two diet cherry drinks. No issues with the food. All tasted great. I think an additional waiter/waitress, a bus boy, and the owner greeting the customers would improve their operations. What can I say it's Johnny Rockets! Our food was delicious. The cashier Victoria (who was very patient and nice), recommended a chocolate peanut butter banana shake and let me tell you it has kept me coming back! That shake was amazing. It was cold and thick and FABULOUS just like me!! The place is small so we sat outside. Which worked out well for us since we have a kid who won't sit still or be quiet. I do have one suggestion though. Put more cheese on the cheese steaks!! read more

Poor customer service . Ordered our food and was looking for a clean table from the moment we walked in there was a certain smell we ended up seating next to the kitchen/bathroom table . This place is pretty small compared to the other Johnny rockets that used to exist. You walk up to the counter to order instead of table side service. The food is very mediocre. The burgers are just average burgers. There is really nothing special about them. They actually might be smaller burgers. The price is high for the food you're getting. You can go to any other burger restaurant and get the same burger for almost half the price. read more

If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. This afternoon I went there for lunch with my husband. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a rocket burger, the cashier didn't ask how we liked the meat cooked, until my husband told them to make sure the meat was cooked a medium well, and a guy in the kitchen said he was cooking it wrong one and said he would make a new as an order. When my food came they gave me a chicken salad instead of a grilled chicken sandwich as my order. How bad is their service, not paying attention to customer orders. When I opened the stuff, the burger was soaking with sauce, greesy as hell, nasty looking and the fries were all dried looking. The hot dog in a bun was so messy. Johnny Rockets overall is great and would have scored at a 5 star if it wasn't for the poor customer service given by service given by Sergio P. As part of my order, I got chili cheese fries. When they arrived at my table I noted there was onions on my chili cheese fries, and I do not eat onion. I proceeded to let the server know politely that if I could my order without onions. Sergio then stated that he had asked me "loud and clear" if I wanted onions. Mind you, there is no way I would have said yes to onions. Either way, I again asked him if it was ok to get it without onions. He again stated "like I said, I asked you loud and clear but fine we'll change it". Which I could then observe him go to the kitchen and make a negative comment about me to the cook. He then hand picked the onions out and brought the order back...well guess what, there were still onions in there, but at this point I didn't with to pursue getting my order correct given his poor attitude. If you want the best quality of food and service from a Johnny Rockets, go to the one in El Segundo...that one never disappoints. read more

DISGUSTING AND UNSANITARY...When I ordered my food I noticed the two cooks exchanging cash between eachother without wearing gloves. They then proceeded to cook my order without washing their hands or putting gloves on. When the tater tots were done cooking I saw the cook grab the tots with his bare hand out of the fryer basket and place them on a plate. My husband was craving a chocolate shake. We went there thinking that it would be a fast transaction but we ended up waiting for one shake for 35 minutes. When we inquired about why it was taking so long. The lady told us that there were still 4 more shakes ahead of us. As we sat at the counter we looked over at the person making the shakes. The guy seemed like he's never worked in a kitchen in his life to save him. He was making them one at a time. Standing there while one shake blends in the blender. Meanwhile what looked like the manager just stood there while their employees were struggle having tons of send backs of their mistake burgers. I can't believe a manager can just stand there and watch when he could be helping. This is a terrible establishment terrible management. The only good thing about this place was that it was clean, probably cuz it was the first week of opening. I really wish I could give this place zero stars. read more
