    Mushroom and Swiss Burger

A staple to those who work or live in the area! I've had so many different meals from Jonesys and they've all been spectacular! I highly recommend their specials menu! On Wednesdays the country fried chicken is a must! The chicken is tender, juicy, and breaded perfectly! The gravy is perfectly seasoned and you can't go wrong with a staple of sides like mashed potato's and corn! Their burgers are also a must! I know they're know for their tacos, but their burgers are a hidden gem! I've tried the mushroom Swiss and the cowboy! Both sooo good! I've also had their nachos, they have so many cheese options. I got it with queso and that is a new fave! This is on the appetizers menu but definitely enough to have as a meal! Parking is decent they're right next to a gas station in case you need to gas up! They have restrooms available as well! Please try them out and support local!!

Good food, prompt service We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The place was clean and had a few other tables of customers. The server was prompt and attentive throughout the meal. I ordered the enchilada dinner, large and it was enough to split(and we did). My daughter got the large burrito Large. The meals were huge. It was a very American Mexican fair, a lot like Romeo's, but much larger portions. The beans were very tasty. The chips and salsa were the absolute best part of the meal. I could have made a dinner out of them alone so don't skip them. You do need to order them, they were $4. None of the salsas were hot. They brought a squeeze bottle of hot salsa to the table and I didn't notice any spice. Overall it was a good meal at a good price. I would visit again and would love to try some of their American specials too.

Disappointed not worth $20 for this crap!! Never will go here again. The staff is super rude.

Horrible. Will never come spend $20 again. The staff was rude and hateful. Very understaff. Food was horrible for the price. Disgusting establishment.

The place is not much to look at but pretty good. Better than three stars but couldn't go four so here we are. I agree with everyone's comments about the casual friendly service. About half way through I asked for onions, sure no problem, right out. I had the chimichanga which was to my taste surprisingly bland but the hot sauce fixed that. I am not saying the beans came from a can but they tasted like it. The enchilada sauce had a processed cheese taste. If you are staying in the neighborhood and want something quick and reasonable I think this is much better than the chain restaurants in the area. I imagine you can do better if you venture further out.

Friendly peeps, they hand bread jalapeño and onion sticks for an appetizer, great stuff, they should sell them frozen in grocery stores! Food is good but needs a bit more intense flavor and spice, would come back if i didn't live out of town...

I'd do five stars if it wasn't for that appalling American cheese with which they defile their food. The chicken tacos are delicious (really, really good and two bucks on Taco Tuesdays) but that oil based American cheese crap is awful. The beans were a tad salty and again that plastic yuk shaved on it, but otherwise good. Hole in the wall with no signage we could see but we found it just the same. Thumbs up... but charge a little more and use quality cheese.

    Cheese curds... pretty tasty

After reading another review raving about the taco, I order a couple of beef tacos. Inedible.

I think they open at 5, so I told myself I'd come back at 5 and I actually did. The food was really good, you can tell from the picture lol. The service was great and everyone was super nice. The place looked nice too. It would've been better if the curtains were open though. I like when the sun hits my skin when I sit by the window.

Actually, we enjoyed our meal and service so much we had dinner there twice. First off, the restaurant is really well designed inside. It's a really contemporary space with a great vibe. The service is exceptional (for dinner) and they go out of their way to take care of their guests. Then comes the cocktails, which were also quite excellent. And they have an extensive (VERY extensive) wine list! Impressive. The food is also (mostly) excellent. We dine in fine restaurants all over the world from Chicago to Paris to Tokyo and London and the food here was top quality, prepared exceptionally, and really delicious--largely due to their wood fire oven. I hadn't seen an oven like this since Grant Achatz's Roister/Fire in Chicago. I was very impressed. We started with Wood Fired Oysters, which were delicious. Their house corn bread and honey butter were also quite good. I normally don't care for corn bread but this was a really nice accompaniment. My wife and I shared the ribeye and truffle cava mac and cheese. Both were very good. On our second dinner we had Omaha Farmer's Board, a very good charcuterie and meats appetizer. But the Ricotta Agnolotti was our only complaint to this truly exceptional restaurant. The pasta dish felt like it was trying too hard to be fancy. A parmesan foam on top was cold, brining a nice hot dish down. The overall look of the plated dish was "overfull diaper." Not appetizing. The creme brûlée was very good. Overall, highly recommend this place as a steakhouse with an incredible wood fired grill. This place should be busier than when we went, to be sure. It deserves attention and it deserves to be recognized as one of the top restaurants in Omaha.
