Despite growing up in the neighborhood I've never actually stopped inside here but it's been around forever so that's how you know they're good. I was craving a classic donut shop-style croissant breakfast sandwich (I can't put into words what makes it taste like it was made at a donut shop, you just know!). Stopped by on a weekday morning and waited just a few minutes. Service was fast and friendly. I got the ham, egg, bacon, and cheese croissant sandwich, but they have plenty of other options as well on a bagel or sandwich bread. It was exactly what I was looking for--everything came out warm and tasted fresh. The sandwich was well proportioned, with the croissant not being too thick and the bacon, egg, and cheese, coming together in all the right amounts. Just enough of each not to overpower each other. It was a pretty decent price too at just shy of 6 bucks. FYI for anyone who doesn't like mayo--it doesn't say it on the menu (unless I totally missed it) but I think there was some mayo spread on the croissant. Just ask for it without it if needed! This parking lot can be sort of small and when it's really busy may be hard to park in, but there's a lot of street parking on the big cross streets if you're willing to walk a couple minutes. read more

As a family-owned business, they offer everything you could want in a donut shop: delicious donuts, great coffee, friendly staff, and amazing breakfast sandwiches. It's the perfect spot to stop by on your morning commute. If you're not into coffee, they also have smoothies, milk teas (with boba), and a fridge stocked with juices, sodas, and energy drinks. While it's a fantastic place for breakfast, you can also stop by for lunch. They have a variety of regular sandwiches, and I've tried both the pastrami and the tuna (both were excellent). Overall, this is one of my favorite spots. I've even visited more than once in a day. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and craving a pink box full of sugary goodness. read more

I'm a regular here, mainly for their cookies and cream shake drink, which is simply delicious. I also occasionally pick up some donut bites, and they're pretty okay, but it's that shake that keeps me coming back. In addition to shakes and donuts, they serve sandwiches, although I haven't explored that part of the menu much. Keep in mind that if you're paying with a card, there's a $5 minimum charge and a $0.50 fee afterward. Service is always nice. Parking can also be a bit challenging when it's busy. So, if you plan to visit during peak hours, it's a good idea to prepare for that. read more

Don't know where to begin with this one... the customer service was so horrible something needs to be said. No welcome greeting no thank you for stopping by and the two ladies were so rude about almost everything it was a disaster from the beginning. The lady who cooks the food practically threw the plate onto the counter and the food was just microwaved frozen dishes nothing is fresh except maybe the donuts. There seems to be a stigma that these sort of mom n pop donut shops are all the same but trust me, this one stands out: the donuts are fluffier, fresher, and simply better than other shops. I was shocked that the original owners sold the shop. I have been going to this donut shop since I was a baby. Their ham and cheese croissants were flaky, buttery, and hit the spot. The donuts, the best. They would always give you extra too. Now, there is a new owner. It's okay, not the same, but, they're okay. I miss the touch of chewiness, softness, crispiness, and smell that the previous owners had in their donuts. The new owners will do, but, coming from a loyal customer, the previous owners will be missed. I give 4/5 just for the sake of nostalgia. They do offer more options now such as sub sandwiches and boba. Haven't tried their sandwiches or boba yet so I'll do an updated review sometime soon. read more

Stopped by this place for some breakfast on my way to work after taking my dog to day care. And MAN I'm sure glad I did. I always get a croissant with egg and cheese at any donut shop. This one was HUGE and delicious for only $5.50 (I added ham this time)!! While I was waiting, I was looking at all the donuts they had and the lady asked if I wanted one. I said probably not today, but she handed me a bag of four donut holes "to try" for free!! I'm usually not the biggest fan of donuts in general, but these donut holes were bigger than most, perfectly fluffy, and not too glazed. I'll definitely be stopping by the next couple days while I can. I'm sad I just discovered this place right as I am moving out of Long Beach. :( read more

Haven't written a review in a while so you know this place is special. Love this place after just one visit. I ordered 4 drinks and the owner made it fast (I may be the only one there but there were times in other shops it took long even though I was the only one). Then his wife (?) came in and gave my little sister two free donuts just for being cute haha. The owners are so sweet. Me being born and raised in LB but never coming here is a sin I will make up for in the future as the drinks were delicious for a fair price. SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS - THEY ROCK! This is a great donut spot owned by some genuinely good people - a rarity. I stopped in to buy donuts for the staff at an elementary school. The donuts are freshly made each day and the smell inside is wonderful. Kim was super nice and offered to box the donuts while I grabbed cash. I had to hit the atm (this place is cash only). Long story short, all ATMs around were out of service. I had 20 bucks, but Kim insisted I take all three dozen and return when I could to pay her the rest. Talk about good service! I did return the same day to pay the extra 7 dollars. Kim explained how their shop is a huge supporter of the community and the schools. The school loved the donuts. I found another great business owned by local people who support the community. I recommend that anyone around stop in for a donut, a coffee or just a chat with some fine folks.
