I grew up coming to Judahlicious for açaí bowls since it was so close and within walking distance from me. The jungle bowl is served with house made granola. Their peanut butter is an extra add on as are other traditional toppings. Unfortunately the portions have been inconsistent and significantly reduced, likely due to inflation over the years. As reference, I had the half order jungle açaí to go but was disappointed with the imbalance of açaí to granola. Not to say I won't be back. There are also smoothies, wraps and salads available too. Just about everything they serve here is delicious and even better for you!! This is not a fast food joint so take a deep breath and slow down a bit before arriving. This place is a treat for the mind, body, and soul. There's a wide selection of juices and smoothies, a hot menu, and a raw menu. My favorites are from the raw menu. Dahnu and Nahbu are my favorites. The exodus is good too if you're not craving for much veggies. The acai's are great if you can share it since it's a decent sized order. They have gluten free waffles, but I'm hardly in a mood for them. The desserts in the display cases are not to be missed. If you're eyeing it, just get it to eat later. This place makes me happy!! Judahlicious offers a variety of vegan options, which is great when the options are limited in the area. My friends and I came here on a weekend, so I ordered the Burmosa (Sat + Sun special). It was a large portion, and the dish felt like it was a fusion of Mexican- and Indian-inspired flavors. Definitely a comforting meal on a colder day. However, the staff wasn't very friendly. When I asked a question about the menu, the cashier seemed unamused and wasn't very helpful. The trash was also overflowing, with takeout boxes piling up on the table next to it. Came to Judahlicious for a birthday morning treat! I like how the vibe here is very coffee shop, super chill, music playing and a lot of light shining through the big windows. Loved hanging out here waiting for my bowl. The wait was quick, admittedly there was only a few regulars coming in and out. The service was nice and good! They called out the order by name and the worker was very sweet. I got the jungle acai bowl (with regular acai) and a ginger shot on the side. Jungle bowl was good, I after having the bowl I wish I had added some add ons like bee pollen or coconut because there wasn't really much going on. It's so nice to have a vegan option so close to home! They are very innovative with their dishes. Make sure to check the special of the day because I almost always order it. The acai bowls are large - big enough to split with two people. It's very heavy on the acai if you just get a regular so I recommend adding all the fixings to make it worth the price. I haven't been to the city since before the panny, and I'm so glad we chose Judahlicious to eat!! There's lots of different options on the menu, ranging from smoothies, cooked food, and raw/live food. In the front there are also baked goods from local vendors, too! There's really something for everyone in the group. There's some outdoor seating, but I can see it getting filled up so I'd say either come early or come during an off hour to grab a seat! Below I've categorized some of the selling points: 5/5 Customer service: Really friendly and upbeat staff members, who are knowledgeable about their menu. 4/5 Taste and flavors: Some of my friends mentioned that their meal was a bit bland. My friend got the chili and said it lacked seasoning. My other friend got the Exodus and said the same thing, but she had also opted out of the cashew creme because of allergies. My 1/2 nekked burrito had a salad on the side and some dressing to go along with it, and having both was so tasty and filling! I highly recommend getting this meal. 5/5 Portion and price point: HUGE portions! Sometimes I'll pay the same amount ~$14-$15 for a meal and think, "That wasn't worth the price." But for here, just go ahead and take my money! My friend also said she was stuffed with just the smoothie layered with granola. 10/5 Jams: If you're into some upbeat chill tunes this is the place to be. We both loved the burrito. The cashew crème was A+ and the filling was super flavorful. The salad was a tasty, fresh side that complimented the burrito nicely. I really enjoyed the Exodus, more so than my partner. The onions were my favorite part. I'd never had rice fried in coconut oil, but it makes a difference in how I felt after eating- normally would feel heavy and gross, instead just felt satiated. SERVICE : They have a table on the side of the restaurant where you grab your food from and also a place to put back dirty dishes. Must clean your own tables. ACAI : Not greedy with their acai! They give a good amount for the price. The granola is my favorite however I found it to get soggy fast since the acai is a little runny. AMBIANCE, DECOR : Very cute breakfast spot, especially on a hot day. Found it a little cramped inside. Inside they have tables and a huge bar table that faces the outside and outdoor seating. I give Judahlicious in Outer Sunset a 3 out of 5 stars. I would classify myself as an Acai Connoisseur (hehe). I thought their Acai was okay. Found it watery and would like it to be thicker.
