Very cute coffee shop I've been meaning to try for quite some time. It has great outside seating right out front as well as out back once you walk thru the coffee shop. The menu has a lot of options - I went with the Gentle Giant and it did not disappoint! Great place for an afternoon work session to get out the house but please note they close by 4pm.

I visited Jurassic Coffee, and unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. I tried the Magic Latte, which was decent but didn't really have that "wow" factor I was hoping for. The spices over powered the taste of coffee. The employees also weren't particularly sociable or welcoming, which took away from the overall experience. The vibe is definitely very hipster and trendy, so if that's your style, you may enjoy it. For me, though, it was just an okay experience.

Ooookay hot coffee shop! I recently saw Jurassic Magic on a list of great caffeination stations in Los Angeles so had to check them out. Under the Speciality drinks, I had to try their Magic Latte for $8 plus an extra 50 cents for an oat milk sub! I loved this drink with it's mix of clove, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg ~ yum. I also got,per suggestions from you Yelpers (thanks!), the Jurassic Magic Cold Brew ($6.50) which I added vanilla syrup for 50 cents to. Liked it but it didn't hit as much as that Magic Latte. They also have a bunch of baked goods, sourced from Sugar Bloom Bakery. The Gluten-free devil's food donut is $5.50 here and I love it. I understand they may be starting to bake some of their own pastries, as well, Overall, glad I popped into Jurassic Magic and love their new-ish food spot Convi next door.

Stopped by Jurassic Magic for a cortado. The drink looked Solid at first, but it didn't quite come together the way I hoped. The flavor was decent and enjoyable enough, but the biggest issue was the texture. It had a chalky, almost powdery mouthfeel that made it feel muddy and took away from the overall experience. Presentation was okay, though there were some visible bubbles in the milk that kept it from having that smooth, glossy finish you'd expect from a really well-executed cortado. The latte art was decent enough, but nothing particularly memorable. The texture never really improved from the first sip to the last. The body broke apart a little more than halfway. Not a bad cortado by any means, and the taste itself was decent, and service was pretty straight forward and solid. The place itself is nice and somewhere I would hang out but I'm not sure if I'd return for the cortado.

My friend told me about a cute little coffee shop named Jurassic Magic and I was intrigued. Plus, they're next door to Convi, which serves great sandwiches! My friend recommended the Magic Latte, and when I asked the barista for a suggestion, she also recommended it! I knew it was the drink for me, but debated between hot and iced. She suggested hot, and it was the perfect choice. I really enjoyed the Magic Latte - while I didn't get any magical powers, I loved the caffeine kick and the delicious taste. I will definitely be back for more magical lattes!

Super cute place! Love that it's next to convi, yumm. I love that they have a back area that's well decorated & there were seatings! Will be back to study one day. I love the decors & vibe! The staffs were really sweet! Street parking

I've been to Jurassic Magic a couple of times and yet haven't reviewed it until now. Every time I've been, the lush backyard never fails to impress me. It's always nice to come here in the quiet hours of the morning and spend some time reading. Staff are always friendly and I never have to wait long for my drinks, even though there's always been a line every time I've been here. There is wifi available, but this place isn't really a remote work spot- they only have low tables inside and not a lot of seating. I've gotten both coffee and matcha here before and both are great. They have a lot of drink specials which I always make sure to order.

Jurassic Magic had been on my list of cafes to try for some time, and after two visits I can safely say I'm a fan! I appreciate the personable and welcoming employee interactions, and their menu offers your standard espresso-based and matcha drinks along with their own unique concoctions. I tried their Fall Basics drink, which was an iced Americano garnished with cacao nibs, a chocolate-yuzu cold foam, and citrus zest. It was a refreshing beverage that I consumed quickly, and the flat white I tried on a subsequent visit was well-crafted. I was impressed by the garden seating area that is located in the rear section of the cafe. It feels like a hidden oasis as you walk past the vinyl recordings and other merchandise on sale. There are also various tables lining the sidewalk in front of the shop.

We got the bright eyes cold brews and the magic latte. The cold brew felt a bit watered down to me. I wish I could taste the flavor of the beans more. The magic latte was good, but it also didn't strike me as very flavorful in terms of the coffee. The spices were not strong but still overpowered the coffee taste. For those who want to do work on their laptop, there's a nice bigger area in the back of the cafe which is super cool! The ambiance/vibes were very hip.

MAGICAL NEIGHBORHOOD MID-CITY CAFE Lucky to have this café within walking distance, definitely a local gem. PARKING Can be tough on weekends, especially between 9-11 a.m. It's a busy residential corner with limited spots, so plan accordingly. PASTRY The gluten-free chocolate doughnut is ridiculously good: rich, moist, and honestly better than Sidecar. Rating: 5/5 COFFEE The cappuccino quality depends on who's behind the machine. I prefer mine strong with more espresso than milk, but the last one leaned a little too milky. Rating: 4/5 OVERALL Don't miss the backyard patio, it's got the best vibe. The striped umbrellas out front are great for chatting with locals, dog-watching, or soaking up some sun. Staff is warm and welcoming, which seals the deal. RATING: 5/5 HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This truly is a little pocket of magic tucked away in the corner of my neighborhood that brings me so much joy every time I come. The place itself has great outdoor seating, and is always such a nice way to meet cool people and cute dogs in the community, but if you go in thru the looking glass in the back you'll find yourself in a truly magical outdoor hang space that is also an installation for local vendors. The coffee is expertly prepared using great beans and the specialty and seasonal drinks are always a hit. I'd be remiss not to mention how lovely the staff are. Everyone not only cares about what they're doing, but they genuinely seem to like working with each other and recognize their value in the community. I've been coming here since they opened and will continue to invite this magic into my life at every opportunity I get. Thanks ya'll!

Great quality coffee & lots of delicious food & pastry items (their ham & cheese croissants are perfect) Super cute spot with lots of indoor seating & great vibes if you want to socialize over a cup of coffee I had the Gentle Giant & it had a strong herbal taste from the cardamom which gave it a unique flavor Would definitely come back & try a different one of their specialty coffees

Walked in and the environment was so cool!! There was a great space in the back with greenery and seated spots. The store next door was a market that also served small dishes and snacks. I loved my experience and the service was so kind. I can't wait to come back again to study.

Upstairs offers a great view, cozy couches, and gorgeous red velvet drapery that gives the space a warm, sophisticated vibe. The drink menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring unique Middle Eastern-inspired flavors like cardamom, pistachio, and saffron. And don't even get me started on the dessert selection! OMG. My friend and I are determined to try every single dessert they offer because everything looks incredible and is beautifully presented. They have a variety of milk cakes that remind me of Mexican tres leches, but with creative flavors like rose, pistachio, coconut, Biscoff, and more. They also offer a selection of fresh-baked pastries, including the always-reliable ham and cheese croissant. And I can't forget to mention the stunning cheesecake slices! My friend ordered the Dubai cheesecake, and I swear her eyes rolled back in pure happiness after the first bite. I went with the coconut milk cake and an Adeni latte, and it was exactly what I was craving that night. We got to talk with one of the managers and they were very friendly and welcoming. I ended up parking in the neighborhood, but it was one of those 4 parking street signs layered on top of each other, designed to confuse the heck out of you. I ended up taking a photo and running it through Gemini to make sure I was safe to park. Okay, parking aside, mu.so is located in large black office building-- they do put out a little "coffee" sign on the sidewalk. When you do see it, the actual coffee shot is small, but there's a whole backyard patio area with plenty of space for you to hang out. Anyways, I went with their iced americano with lavender cream top. I've been to a lot of coffee shops, but haven't run into a lavender cream top-- so of course I had to try. I thought it was pretty good, the cream top was a good pairing w/ the americano-- it sweetened the coffee, without making it too sweet or heavy. The lavender brought a light floral flavor to the coffee. While it's nothing life changing, I did think, it's a solid cup of coffee, it's worth a try, but probably not worth a dedicated drive over. I also picked up a blueberry muffin, because honestly, I love everything blueberry. I'd pass on it, but I'd recommend trying something else-- like the crossiants, which looked tastier. Overall, I might come by again and try one of their other drinks. While it wasn't bad, I expected a little more from a "signature' drink.

Next time, I'd just order it less sweet.
