This review is for the POOL only! Such a fun pool. Very relaxing and not crowded at all. Entry is free into the pool but you have to buy cabanas or daybeds in advance. We showed up day of and all chairs and everything was sold out for the day. They have 2 beaches with sand and the pool was so clean! This was so nice and surprising considering the sand in the pool, but they had multiple people sweeping the sand up all day. I've been to the restaurant and was not a fan of the food and the service is so SLOW. But I will definitely be heading back to the pool. read more

We decided to celebrate our anniversary a bit early while in Vegas and chose Kassi Beach as they had Cacio di Pepe which was what my wife wanted. It's a beautiful restaurant with a fun vibe. It's also very loud inside with a live DJ nearby so keep that in mind for conversations. We loved the appetizer Whipped Ricotta with honey which came with a funny puffed flatbread that was fun to puncture and then eat. Supper tasty. The Cacio di Pepe was very tasty and cooked very well. We also had a Caesar salad that was yummy with a crunchy topping. Our waitress was super friendly and got us the celebratory tiramasu at the end of our meal. I've been back a few times. Food wise everything has been good & the servers are friendly. What they really need to work on is timing. I like to order a drink first, get it and then order. They want you to order everything at once (drinks, apps & entrees). I would suggest you don't do this, even if they say they'll space it out. It never works. It's not pleasant to have your apps brought before a cocktail or your dinner brought out while you've barely ate your appetizers. That being said, I now know how I should order here to enjoy my dinner. Keep an eye on your receipt too. Great spot for Mediterranean and Italian dishes. We love the Mezze Platter and now their Vodka sauce pasta. Their fresh baked bread is worth the trip in alone. Kassi has a great young hip vibe. They typically have a DJ playing house music. It gets louder the later it gets so if you're there to talk with your friends at the table, just be aware of that. The Mez platter is a great appetizer that I get every time I go there. They give you multiple dips like hummus and ricotta whip and a bean flavor and they serve it with this large puffy bread, which is warm. You pop it open and tear pieces off to dip. I usually get the Bolognese, but the last two times it's been extremely meaty & has an Italian sausage spice vibe to it now, which might be good for some. I prefer more pasta than meat in mine. I think they changed the recipe from when I first started ordering it.. Craft cocktails are very good there. While during SEMA we stayed at the virgin hotel and ate at Kassi a few times. Always a forest atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff is always great and welcoming. I had the chicken Alfredo one night and then the spaghetti another night. Both excellent choices. Will be back again next year for sure. read more

Came here for the first time to stay at Virgin and try out this restaurant. Our host gave us a 50 dollar credit, that somehow got input wrong in the system....but I have to say with the amazing service from Khailey, the patience to wait out the host to correct the bill was above and beyond. Now to the food...we ordered a lemon ginger n/a spritz that was so refreshing on a warm day..not too sweet...just a great drink. We decided to split the Margarita pizza and we added some sausage. We also got the Vodka pasta. They asked if we wanted the items to come out as ready and we liked that over having something sit. The vodka pasta came out first. Both of us took the first bite and looked at each other with delight...this is the best Vodka pasta I have ever had...and I have had many. I can't explain why it is so good,because it seems so simple..but the fresh ingredients and the perfection on blending that sauce is worth a thousand words...you must get this if a vodka fan. Pizza came out 10-15 minutes later and was piping hot..fresh ingredients...sausage had a beautiful flavor. To finish out we got a small piece of Tiramisu to celebrate our anniversary...a very nice touch..but we were so full we could only take a few bites. Also worth mentioning, the manager came to assist with the bill and the host situation...she was amazing and you can tell she is great at her job. Vibes here were immaculate! We came on a Friday for brunch and loved it. Service was a bit on the slower side but we tried a bunch of the dips, and their pita was delish! We almost went to sit inside but luckily they turned them all off. The mist would be great during the day when you're in a bikini while it's hot outside but in the evening, it's a no. The food here is absolutely incredible. That whipped ricotta with honey was so great I could live off of that alone. I was surprised about the octopus dish, expected it to come out warm but it was more of a salad and it wasn't bad. The brussels sprouts were also so good, probably one of the tastiest I've ever had. Enjoyed the branzino and the pasta too. However the service here isn't all that great, the food makes up for it though. While staying at the hotel, I visited this restaurant 3 times! The consistency is amazing! The octopus was a bit tough, however, the citrus topping/vinaigrette was tasty. Large portions on plated entree, well enough to share. My last night dining in the restaurant, I sat at the bar. Bartender on service bar was busy, so I waited quite a while before being serviced. The portion was generous, the sauce was rich and flavorful. The pasta could have been a little more al dente but it was still good. We also got the gemelli squid ink pasta. This was quite different as it had a tomato based sauce. It was nice to have both but if I had to only choose one it would be the vodka pasta. We ended up boxing about 1/4 of the gemelli pasta (and we were hungry when we went to lunch and we both eat a lot). Service was good. The music in the restaurant was a little loud (I think they were trying to aim for a hip atmosphere). I left something behind at the restaurant, realizing 20 minutes after we left. Such a fun, beach vibe spot! The beach vibe & decor reminded me of Tulum. The food was also so worth it! I especially loved the Mediterranean mezze platter, grilled octopus and the vodka pasta. The white pizza was alright, I thought it was too salty for my liking but the other dishes ordered made up for it. Most staff was friendly, except for the lady at the front who seemed to have an issue when we asked her to take our picture on our way out of the restaurant. The atmosphere, decor, energetic music created such a wonderful experience and that was before our first bite. The food was delicious with a wide variety of meats, seafood, Italian food and alcohol. My husband had the meatballs which were as good as his Italian Grandmother's, his New York Steak was perfectly seasoned. He said the bread was incredible. It looked light and fluffy. They accommodated my gluten-free needs. The Branzino was superb and seasoning beyond words. As it didn't come with carbs, we also ordered the Seafood Gemilli Pasta with just a hint of heat and a luscious sauce. We finished our meal with Panna Cotta with I believe raspberry puree, marscapone cheese,.cocoa, chunks of chocolate - so good. Lastly, the owner Jason checked on us several times. The level of caring about the food and the guest experience was apparent. This is our new favorite restaurant. Walk don't run to check it out. First and foremost, their daybeds and cabanas are very affordable! We reserved a daybed on a Tues, paid the deposit of $95 on OpenTable which went towards our final bill for food & beverage (our F&B minimum was only $100) Secondly, the food from Kassi Beach is chef's kiss! We ordered their calamari, Seafood Gemelli and Soppresata pizza which was airy, crispy and topped with chili oil and honey and was amazing! I def recommend getting that! Wow! Just five minutes off the strip, this was a great find! It's beautiful, with a beautiful pool, ambiance, comfy seating, and more. It feels bougie, upscale, and classy- without the price tag of an overpriced beach club. Next time I would love to find out about the pool service because it looked so clear, clean, and refreshing. The server was great, super knowledgeable and helpful. Staff always made sure my drinks were full. We ordered two medium pitchers so we could try two different drinks, and we each got about 3 drinks each (for 7 people!) a total of about 21 drinks, and they told us it would be about 16! Great bang for your buck. The food was also great! The vodka pasta stole the show, so delicious and everyone's favorite. The dips were great too- the eggplant being my favorite & the ricotta with honey tasted like dessert! The tuna tartar was tasty, the chicken fingers were breaded lightly and I enjoyed them. The mozzarella sticks stringy and delicious, and the sauces they brought with the fried foods - amazing! The spinach and artichoke pasta was nothing to rave about, and I wouldn't get that again. The space itself is nice and relaxing. Well maintained lounging equipment and the bathrooms were very clean. Service was okay. Server didn't seem to know the menu too well and we had to ask for a few sides that were supposed to come with our meals, but she was extremely friendly and accommodating. Could have been a little more attentive, but we were only paying a min of $25/person so I get it. My friends really liked the Kassi burger, but the best deal there is that vegetable crudités platter. It's massive, refreshing and delicious. The whipped eggplant was extremely good! Good fries, too. I didn't order any cocktails but the mocktails were pretty tasty. They're not on the menu so you have to ask about them. The pool itself is nice....to look at. The sand around it is SCREAMING hot (literally came home with blisters from burning my feet) and you get NO relief from the pool, because it HAS to be 100°+ (I am not exaggerating). There was NOTHING refreshing about actually going in the pool. The rinse off showers had cold water and that's how we beat the heat. Half of our chairs were directly in the sun most of the day and we were told the umbrellas don't tilt and good luck trying to move them. If you're staying at the hotel, it's fine. The music is real mellow. To start it out, I'm having some Fiji water. This is good! My favorite water! First Course: WHIPPED EGGPLANT puccia bread, extra virgin olive oil Puccis is a type of bread, from the Salento and Taranto regions of Puglia, often served with a variety of fillings. This is good! It almost tasted like hummus. There is pool of olive oil in the center. The breed is like a thin pita with a buttery taste. Yummy! FALL SALAD mixed greens, roasted honeynut squash, toasted hazelnuts, plumped cranberries, white balsamic, ricotta salata paired with Ceretto Langhe Arneis The first two course are served at once. That wine is good. It's clear, bubbly and tasty. The salad is good and is mostly made of lettuce and cheese. Second Course: ARANCINI white wine risotto, mozzarella, lemon aioli. MEATBALLS spicy pomodoro, parmesan, parsley The meatballs are tasty. I've had better, but they're still pretty good and I like the sauce. The Arancini and the sauce on top are just fine. The wine is good too. I'm no connoisseur, but it does the job. Third Course: VODKA PASTA canestri, tomato, cream, onion, calabrian chili Canestri pasta, whose name translates to "basket", is a short pasta shaped like a small basket or a deeper shell. It's also known as lumache, which means "snails" due to its resemblance to a snail's shell. TURKEY DINNER roasted turkey breast, homemade gravy MASHED POTATOES potato puree, homemade gravy BROCCOLINI paired with duckhorn chardonnay The broccolini is a custom item. The meal normally comes with fried Brussels sprouts (they can't bake them so no go). Broccolini is good! Well made! I like the vodka pasta. I've never had this before. The turkey isn't right off the bird, but it's good. This wine is the best so far! What a difference! Came here for a late night snack. We got the sausage pizza and watermelon spritz. The pizza and drink were great. We were thankful that they still sat us a half hour before closing. The service was still very nice and attentive even though they were getting ready to close. We were at the Virgin Hotel at the beginning of the week, so the Kassi beach club area, that looked so fun was not opened. We really enjoyed the vibe and music here. Food was amazing! I had the watermelon salad, well seasoned, refreshing, and flavorful. The meatballs had fresh crushed tomatoes, seasoned to perfection and a nice size portion. The octopus salad was clean and could taste every single ingredient. It could have been a little bit colder but overall the whole experience was superb! Virgin hotel is off the strip but I do like it that way since I don't gamble and I am here mostly to decompress and enjoy the sun and food! Kassi will not disappoint... This place is so cute and the restaurant is huge with plenty of seating! I absolutely love the decor. There's a view of the outdoor pool area outside. We were seating outside. The misters and fan did a great job of keeping us cool. Everything tasted amazing. We started with the mezze platter, which includes this huge pita like fluffy bread with whipped eggplant, white bean dip with salsa rossa, and whipped ricotta with honey. Al the dips tasted amazing, but the whipped ricotta with honey was my favorite. I like the sweet and salty combo with the ricotta and honey. We were with a group of 7, and the mezza platter was enough for our large group. For mains, we ordered the vodka pasta and soppressata pizza. Even though the vodka pasta gives you the option to add chicken on the menu, you can add any protein like salmon and shrimp. I added shrimp with my vodka pasta. The vodka pasta includes plenty of vodka sauce and tasted perfect. The only thing I didn't like about the vodka pasta with the lack of shrimp. The shrimp included were large, but there were only a few pieces that were included at my pasta, maybe like 4 at the most. There was definitely way more pasta than shrimp. The soppressata pizza was good. I think it's brick oven pizza, I love the oily crust, and the hot honey flavor that came with it. Restrooms were kind of strange. It's a hallway with doors and a sink where you can wash your hands right across from the restrooms. Kinda awkward walking out of the restroom, and a guy coming out of the restroom right next to me, and we're both washing our hands.... it feels like we're sharing a bathroom... haha. Don't quote me on that one, but if there is a server named Lexy, she was amazing! I chose to make a reservation at Kassi Beach for a birthday at 10 pm! On Wednesdays, they have 50% off pasta and select drinks. That night they had vodka specials, so I got an espresso martini & an the birthday girl got an Island Breeze. The island breeze was perfect for a citrus lover. You couldn't really taste the vodka as much as the espresso martini. I'd say they make their drinks a decent strength. The citrus and lime in the island breeze overpowered the vodka for sure, the presentation was cute, too. Every single pasta dish was immaculate and the pizza had the perfect crunch paired perfectly with the sauce. The vodka pasta was a bit on the saltier side but no complaints here, so if you don't cook with salt, you'd think it's extremely salty. The Alfredo was creamy, tasty and we added extra red pepper flakes for an additional hint of pepper. The asparagus was cooked to perfection and quite frankly, didn't stand a chance against us. The pomodoro and meatballs was sooo flavorful and the perfect serving for one. Four of us ordered something different and we all shared, the best way to order anything at a restaurant quite frankly. They brought the birthday girl a complimentary tiramisu and sherbet? The sherbet was refreshing and the tiramisu was perfect. Not too sweet, either. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating is because I honestly felt a bit rushed.
