I heard about this place from a local so I don't think a lot of people have heard of it. My husband and I went and we were so surprised. All the food we got and for the price makes this place a winner. The place is small and whole in the wall-ish. But those are the best places right? The food was great. The BBQ was seasoned well and loved the BBQ sauce. Tried the Mac n cheese which was okay but the collard greens were really good. Love the slice of Texas toast they give with your meal. If you haven't been to Keller's you definitely need to make a trip! Locations are in Lake Mary and Altamonte Springs. Both locations are equally as good. The lunch menu is available all day and is usually what I order. You get your choice of meat, 3 sides, 3!!! and garlic bread. The dinner is the same just with more meat. I order the BBQ beef but ask for it to be well done so there isn't pink. My sides I choose the fries and 2 sides of the salad. I don't know what it is but the salad is so good! I think cause its super fresh and the dressing is delish as well! We've been ordering to go lately and the salads are packaged separately. (Usually when we dine in they just combine them for a larger salad) The sauces are great as well. The sweet is A++++! I tried Kellers in Lake Mary after being over that way for my hair salon and shoe repair in an endless quest for good BBQ in Orlando. This place rocks! It was so good that I had to have it again 2 days later when I picked up my shoes! I had just a 1/4 lb of pulled pork and their collard greens. Both were very good and very reasonably priced. I also appreciated that they offer just a quarter pound. In addition,,All of the sauces on the table were delicious and homemade. My favorite is the spicy one (could even be spicier) but the mustard and sweet one were also very good. They have spicy southern pepper vinegar on the tables too. The first time I was there I didn't realize they had servers so I sat down and ate my food at a table and once I realized it I felt bad and they were sooo nice and hospitable about it! Service is very good as is the food!! They greet you coming and going and make you feel appreciated. It does get busy but I didn't encounter any problems. BUT WARNING TO ALL #### DO NOT USE POST MATES TO ORDER FROM ANYWHERE. WE ordered via POST MATES and was charged for the food. Then a few moments later we ere told the store was closed and the order was canceled and we would not be charged . HOWEVER we were charged , not by Keller's but by POST MATES. WE never got our food. We showed up at 8:30pm. Manager Happily waved us in. Waitress had other ideas. She explained that the kitchen was closing so we should choose quickly. We ordered right away while the waitress loaded chairs onto the tables. Needless to say I ordered a chicken breast and was given a thigh and a drumstick. I asked that the mashed potatoes be hot - not Room temperature. I had to have the chicken order changed to what I had originally ordered which was breast and the mashed were still cold from the fridge. Was looking for a cheap place to eat at the end of vacation and this place didn't disappoint. Right around $20 for two sandwiches and fried okra. The brisket was very tender and the mac and cheese was great as well. All 3 barbecue sauces offered were very tasty. The wife really enjoyed the buffalo chicken. I would have given them 3.5 stars but I will give them the benefit of the doubt and I will tell you why. After reading my fellow YELPERS i decided to stop and try them because I am always in search of GOOD RIBS. They were almost completely full on this Saturday night and I got a corner table because I wanted to eat there and not go back to my hotel room. They have all you can eat 24-7. Now how often do you find that? All they did was add $3 to the rib dinner price and you could eat all you wanted. Hmmmm that sounded good to me - so I got the All - You - Can - Eat special. At first blush I was pleasantly surprised by the ribs - boy there were good! So, I did what all good RIBBERS do - I ordered some more. They immediately brought me a plate with three small ribs from the end - I immediately knew they were not going to be any good. They were burnt and full of fat ..... so I told my waitress I was going to need some more. She rolled her eyes and returned with another plate that was a clone of the first plate. I didnt eat any from the plates. I realized that All-You-Could-Eat meant I had already received all i could eat that was edible, anyway. As I was waiting for my check I stopped another waitress that had a rock star kind of look with tatoos and lunk rock hair cut if that was the norm to serve inedible ribs to the customers who wanted more? She looked at my plates and was like "Nahhh - hold on". I could hear her say, he needs some more ribs and have them cut from the center. She returned with a plate much like my origianl plate - when I returned to the hotel i devoured them. They were as good as the first ones. The server said, "when you return, tell them you want your ribs from the middle and you'll be good." Get your ribs from the middle and you wont be sorry. Corn nuggets are decent. I couldn't really say they're comparable to those found at Sonny's, but serving them with honey gives them a unique twist. I ordered the salad with bbq on top (Pig Salad). Fair barbecue. The servings here are pretty big. I got the pulled pork plate. I had the baked beans, fries, and a salad as my sides. The salad was a little pitiful, I should have had something else. The beans were okay, the fries were pretty plain. The pulled pork was moist but unsauced, so I had to sauce it myself, which is okay because there's plenty of sauce on the table. I thought the sweet sauce was pretty sweet, not my favorite, but the normal and spicy sauces mixed together were pretty good. My coworkers and I came here during our lunch break and were seriously impressed! Really great southern BBQ in a little tucked away corner of the plaza. The interior is decorated like you'd expect a BBQ place to be decorated: cowboy and western type stuff. It was not distracting and not kitschy. Thumbs up for that. The interior is also slightly small (but not cramped) and the tablecloths are vinyl but who cares? That adds to the BBQ atmosphere! The food was fanfreakingtastic. I had the BBQ pulled chicken, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and we were really impressed with how good the sides were too. I had my friend's green beans.... I hate green beans normally but these were so good! Service was good too. Our server had no problem splitting up our checks and didn't act like we were a pain in the ass for asking. A long time local, I can't count how many times I've eaten here..and it's not getting better. It seems that their prices have gone up. As an incentive they've started a "punch card" type deal. The kicker is you have to spend over $9.00 pre-tax/beverage not included on an item to get the card punched. Last time I ate there with a co-worker it came to $26.00 and didn't even get a single punch. For lunch that is insanity. The BBQ is the staple that keeps people coming back for more though. The sweet tea is ok. Nothing special. I avoid the slaw. Baked Beans are good as are the onion rings. Service is usually good but there's a couple servers that clearly would rather be somewhere else. I def. have my favorite servers here. It used to be packed at lunch but ever since 4Rivers BBQ opened up one exit down, it's not as crowded at lunch now. Surprisingly good for a BBQ place outside KC or Texas. Super friendly and diverse staff, odd interior like a beverley hill billies shack within a run down shopping center shack. But damn the food is just perfect with the right price. Pulled pork is just moist and tasty, the sides of green beans and slaw is cooked tender but not mushy. Guess the locals on the area still have their own teeth. Chopped beef is smokey and smooth like its been tenderized with butter. Out of all the chain barbecue places in Central Florida, I prefer Kellers. There's nothing that technically stands out with their food, they just have a better taste then Sonny's, Bubbalou's, and even 4R. When you walk into this place, you walk into a typical corner barbecue joint with the tables scattered everywhere and covered in plastic. The waitresses are all running around but they are polite and food is served quickly. Overall, the food is good. They have the staples like sliced pork, beef, ribs and brisket. They also have smoked poultry for those of us that don't eat the heavier meets. Their barbecue sauce is sweet and yummy, and their sides are the standard green beans, barbecue beans, coleslaw, fries, etc. I love this place for their greek salad dressing. I know it's not typical of a barbecue restaurant, but it's homemade and just the perfect balance of vinegar and oil that leaves a little tang and then blended with spices. It's perfect on their grilled chicken salad. I could eat this salad every day. read more

Great Florida Style BBQ. I have been going to this Keller's for about 17 years and can say their BBQ hasn't changed. Still awesome and tasty after all these years. All meats are amazing with my personal favorites being BBQ Sliced Pork(Yummy) , BBQ Ribs, and BBQ Chicken. This is real BBQ with smoke rings folks. No faux BBQ here. Their sides are also excellent. My favorites are the BBQ Baked beans and French Fries. Great sauces include Sweet Sauce, Original, and Hot Original . Service is very friendly and quick. Just a fantastic BBQ experience. My wife and I frequent Keller's often and we are big fans. We enjoy the smoked flavor of their meats and chicken. The portion sizes are huge and the side dishes are very delicious. We always leave Keller's full and happy. Sometimes when my wife will not be in the mood for BBQ but will still choose Keller's because she loves their salads and their chicken wings as well. Some of the drawbacks of Keller's is that seating is limited and if you come during rush hour there will be a bit of wait (even though there is no waiting area). Also the staff is good, but I don't think they are as personable as they used to be. I think that some of the servers/managers that used to be there have left. This review is for our carry out dinner. I enjoyed the brisket and the ribs. The pulled pork was just alright, but I'm not a fan of pulled pork in general. The bbq that came with it was not overly sweet or vinegary so that was a plus. The green beans came from a can (?) and the mashed potatoes were delicious, very creamy and buttery, and broth-y like they used chicken stock to enhance the flavor. I enjoyed their coleslaw though it was the generic kind you can get anywhere and their garlic bread was also delicious. I've been going to Kellers from day one when I moved to Lake Mary and its a regular staple of the restaurant routine. When you order lunch or dinner platters, you get three (yes, three) sides.
