I came in today and specifically ordered a "carnitas burrito with pico, beans, and cheese," however when I got home and took a huge bite, I immediately noticed that it was "carne asada" instead. No problem, I called in and explained the mix up without any kind of attitude, the cook informed me that he would fix it. When I got there, it was a whole different story. The cook basically called me a liar and did not want to correct his mistake now. The cashier lady then began to give me attitude and they were both extremely rude about it. I finally got them to fix it, but my family and I will no longer be coming here to be treated so rudely when I did nothing wrong. **HORRIBLE customer service**

This was my second visit here to this place and they don't disappoint. The food is very good but nothing special. I ordered the 2 cheese enchilada plate, 3 roll tacos with everything and a carne asada quesadilla. The enchiladas had the perfect amount of cheese, the roll tacos were freshly rolled and deep fried and the carne in the quesadilla was pretty juicy. It's attached to a Chevron gas station and the space is pretty small but not tiny; a few booths and some tables in the middle section. A sweet older lady was the cashier and she barely spoke English but an "A" for effort for trying, seriously, it was the cutest. She also made sure all my order was correct before handing it over to me. Reminds me of the grandma who fed you while you over at her house. Overall, I had a good experience and I might be back to try other special plates offered.

I ordered the Santa Fe omelet, and it was delicious. They added a generous amount of chorizo and cheese. My wife ordered the Crunchy Banana French Toast, which was good, but it wasn't my favorite. The restaurant has a fun beach-town atmosphere with surfboards decorating the walls. The service was friendly and attentive, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food arrived. This was good and had solid flavor. The size was decent but not for $17. It does come with either potatoes or hash browns and we decided for the hash browns. Those were very good. Crispy and well seasoned. The salsa they have was not our favorite. Reminded us of the Tostitos chunky salsa you get from the grocery store. We also ordered the Banana Crunch French Toast. This was honestly a let down. There was nothing crunchy about them and the flavor was nothing impressive. Tasted like just regular French toast with bananas and an oat "crust". The presentation is pretty and they do look delicious from the pictures. We were convinced and decided to order them. They were still good but would definitely not order these again. For my toddler, we ordered French toast and sausage from the kids menu. French toast was solid and the sausage was his favorite. Oh! They have freshly squeezed orange juice! Soooo good! Vibes/Ambiance : 7/10 We came on a Tuesday morning and it was very busy. We waited for about 10 min to be seated and we can tell this place is very popular among the locals. There were a lot of family's gathering there and they have inside or outside seating which is nice. The space is spacious and has a very surf-beachy vibe to it. The decor is everything surf and they have a lot of pictures hanging. It was cool to see so many pictures from the past. The service was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. I will say, as someone who was only a visitor, the city doesn't seem too friendly overall. People seem very standoff ish and unwelcoming so the places we did go to that had friendly people really stood out. Overall, it was good breakfast.

The wait wasn't long at all, and there were plenty of seating options to choose from. The bar area was very clean, and there were lots of cozy, sunny spots both indoors and outdoors. The hours are great, the space is clean and inviting, and the matcha was okay. One thing I found a little odd: they bring your food to the table, but not your drink. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed. I came here twice in a row because I couldn't stop thinking about the lemon basil burrata toast. The first time was incredible which loaded with toppings and full of flavor. The second time looked noticeably lighter on the burrata and basil. Maybe it was an off day, because I know how good it can be. Overall, I'd still come back. The matcha was good enough, the toast was good enough to bring me back immediately, and despite the slightly curated "everyone here is working on a startup" vibe, the food was worth the visit.

From the moment we arrived, Sierra greeted us with her kindness and attentiveness. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely present, checking in at just the right moments without ever feeling intrusive. It was clear she truly cared about creating a positive experience, and that level of attentiveness made a big difference. Bryce was equally impressive in his approach. What shined was his care and attention to detail, especially when it came to accommodating my allergies. He made a point to ask questions before taking action, ensuring that everything was handled safely and thoughtfully. I appreciated how realistic and transparent he was about what could and couldn't be modified, which helped build trust and made me feel more at ease navigating the menu. His professionalism and awareness were evident throughout. Drea also made a strong impression with her calm and reassuring presence. She approached everything with a sense of patience and understanding, and I felt genuinely understood and validated in my requests and concerns. Her demeanor helped create a relaxed environment, which is especially meaningful when dealing with dietary needs. She balanced efficiency with empathy in a way that felt very natural. As for the food and drinks, my friend really enjoyed the Buccaneer smoothie and even went back for a second cup of drip coffee, which they said was smooth and satisfying. I had an avocado, egg, and tortilla burrito, and I especially liked the house brown sugar coffee, which had a rich, slightly sweet flavor that came through as a highlight for me. Overall, while navigating modifications can sometimes be challenging, the staff made the experience feel manageable and supportive. Their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to accommodate made a lasting impression, and it's clear that the team truly values customer care. I appreciated the window so we could order outside, sit outside, be right by the ocean and have access to restrooms.

Our servers name was Monse I believe and she was excellent. We had mimosas, an americano, lobster thermidor with cheese grits, and the steak and eggs. Out of the two entrees my favorite was the lobster thermidor which was an egg scramble with chunks of lobster and cheese. The cheesy grits were also delicious. The steak was overcooked so it wasn't doing it for me. Overall I'd say the food is pretty good for being a hotel restaurant I would dine again. The only thing with sitting outside is we saw the occasional transient person threatening patrons. What's left are a few à la carte selections that were more expensive and not prepared as well as they were when we went previously, which was a couple years ago. What's super annoying is that the menu change still isn't reflected online, so we had no idea until we sat down. The avocado toast was burnt, potatoes were flavorless and unevenly cooked, and the "poached" eggs were hard in the middle. Prices are higher, service is slow, and overall it just feels like a place that exists now purely to gouge tourists in Oceanside. We won't be going back.
