We came here for the second time. We ordered 4 main courses but only 3 showed up. Luckily, everyone was full anyway so it wasn't needed. But while I was so focused on them not charging us for the 4th dish I didn't see the fact that YES... they did add an 18% gratuity on the bill for a party of 4. This is total bullshit! We had already paid the bill by the time we noticed this and left a tip on top of that. We had him take the extra tip off before we left. There may be a small chance that my rating is slightly skewed/elevated due to the despiration for a decent noodle place in Everett, but I'm just going to go with the feeling. This is the type of place where their chef performs in front of a little window to the kitchen and allows you to see him twirl of a ball of dough into submission to render delicious noodles with just the right amount of chew. The thing that I like about the place is that the soup selection is entirely customizable, and when I was there, they were kind enough to let me mix up some of their (choose one/choose two) options for my order. Ooh, and as a bit of advice, if you and your dining companions have similar tastes, note the differences in your orders so that when they come out, you know exactly which one is yours. We had a couple "oh, that's mine...wait...is it? No, I didn't include this...it must be yours...oh wait no, you didn't get that either, then it must be mind" moments. I had the spicy soup (good flavor but lacking a little bite), with the duck (had a couple of small bones I had to be aware of), the pork skin (which was very disappointing cause I was expecting chinese crispy roast pork skin but really just got pork rinds out of the bag, sigh), with a medley of veggies (which were pretty fresh except the mushrooms). Very comforting in winter and with the choices, I'll have to try again soon to solidify my judgement. read more

I'm almost afraid to write this review because once someone calls a place great...the place get's overcrowded and more expensive. However, I've gotta say that eating these noodles are like watching that scene from "When Harry Met Sally" when Meg Ryan fakes the big "O". We made the trek to Everett to try this on my friend's recommendation. Great find! We each customized our noodle soup and shared an order of chicken wings. I went with spinach noodles, chinese cabbage, chives, beef brisket, wonton, and woodear mushrooms. Delicious! What was even more fun was watching the chef make the noodles. He is so fast... it was like magic. Can't wait to go back and try the hand shaved noodles next time. We watched him make a batch and he's got impressive aim! read more

King Noodle is a consistently delicious Chinese restaurant. I love their soup options. Every one I've tried has been wonderful. Last night I had the beef broth, hand pulled noodles, wontons, and sliced beef with bok choy and bean sprouts. My favorite so far!! I love the broth's flavor (though I did add a bit of hot oil for some extra kick) and the beef and wontons were cooked and flavored wonderfully. As others have mentioned, King Noodle makes their noodles right there in the restaurant. In fact, you can watch the chef pull these noodles through a large display window. The noodles have a great texture - slightly chewy and they taste fresh. I've also had the rice noodles were are also good. Now, if you're wanting to order over the phone, they do seem to be having phone problems. We weren't able to get them on the phone, but honestly, their service is quick so it's not a huge imposition to go to the restaurant and order your food there if you want to take it out. I do think the soups taste slightly better when eaten in the restaurant. When they pack them to go, they pack all of the ingredients separately, and for me I love letting the veggies and noodles sit in that broth to soak up some of the great flavor. I highly recommend this place. It's quickly becoming a go to restaurant for me. read more

It is what is it. Cheap, fast, large portions and flavorful. You aren't going to get white table cloth service but the speed and price are perfect for lunch. I ordered the hand cut noodles with beef, tendon, mushrooms and bak choy and was surprised by the size of the portions - both of the noodles and toppings. The food here is pretty good. The noodles were very good-- it seems they make them in house. They have a menu of appetizers, entrees, and sides plus you can build your own pho. The price is reasonable. The staff is available but quiet. Atmosphere is your typical strip mall Asian restaurant-- humble traditional decor, white walls, open seating. OPEN ON SUNDAY!!!!!! Awesome meals. Amazing prices. The general tso's chicken was good. A few not so great pieces of chicken but very fresh and nice presentation. My house lo mein was awesome. I don't really understand the hype, the soups have barely any flavor to me... I've asked three of my family members who have visited and they said the same thing... I had high expectations because of the reviews and everyone talks about this place, I guess up north there isn't much when you want authentic stuff however... King Noodle House doesn't do it for me. First time here. My wife and I both had soup combos with flavorful sichuan soup base. She had shaved noodles, I had pulled. Nice variety of other items for adding to the soup. Also ordered Mapo Tofu. So lately I've been in the mood for good noodles. And I figured I would try this place rather then to indulge my craving with pho. I did take out only and went wild with the chicken broth, duck and beef brisket with chives and mushrooms. The amount of broth is insane! So I had a good amount left over that I just drank cause I do have a cough. First off the broth is amazing! The home made noodles are great and all the toppings were great except for the duck... It was VERY bony and super fatty, now I understand that I shouldn't expect amazing duck for such a cheap price but I would happily pay a few dollars more for a quality cut of meat. This is a decent restaurant to get hand pulled noodles. We had their Black Bean Noodle, beef noodle soup, fried rice, fried wantons and fried dumpling. Appetizers were amazing. Fried rice was definitely not seasoned but was easily fixed by salt on the table. The back bean noodle was also underseasoned but was helped by the salty black bean. Got a soup I made on my own and eh. The broth was average and I got duck and it was only 2 little pieces of duck and 90% of it was bone or skin. Meal wasn't awful but not great either. I'd say "Meh. I've experienced better." definitely wraps this one up. read more

This is the place in Snohomish County for Chinese noodles. It is like something you'd see in the "International District" - daily hand-made noodles, and you pick your noodles, broth, and toppings. Between the two of us my husband and I had regular hand--pulled noodles and the spinach hand-pulled noodles; plus bock choy, cabbage, scallions, beef brisket, barbecued pork, scallops and fish fillets as toppings. I had the Szechuan broth and my husband had the chicken broth. It is very easy to "navigate" the menu - there are pictures of what the different noodles look like so no mistaking. Admittedly, not all of it was unequivocally terrific. The fish fillets were very good, and the vegetable toppings were excellent. But the barbecued pork, while tasty, was hard and dry (i.e. given that it was in broth it was still okay); but the scallops were those tiny things that look like eraser heads, and the beef brisket had a lot of unedible "stuff" included - gristle, fat, skin(?). But on balance, it was an excellent meal for the price, if you like noodles! The restaurant also has a lot of other Chinese dishes other than the noodle bowls. We didn't try these but the variety is unusual as well. I highly recommend this place, with the "caveat" that some of the toppings will not be at the "top of their game." read more

Very disappointing! Only had noodle soup! Tried both beef and spicy broth! Spicy broth was very blend - like a light broth with few drops of spicy sauce. Beef broth is more Vietnamese pho broth, not particularly great. The only thing good is their hand shave noodle! Stir fry noodle may be better. read more

This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. My family and I walked in a few more minutes before 9pm (they advertised they closed at 10- I really just wanted to order some pho- eat quickly and go- due to them closing in an hour and it was late. This man semi greeted us and told us to sit where ever,brought us water, then paced back and forth next to our table for the first 2 minutes- then I said "we need a few more minutes" he then told me "can you look faster" I was taken back and kind of confused, I said "I'm sorry are you closed? Your door said 10pm, my apologies." (Mind you, online it also advertised 10pm and their OPEN sign was flashing) He said "yeah we close at 10-but I'm eating" and pointed at a table with food on it. I then said " oh well we can just go" he responded with "okay". We were there less than 5 minutes. I was/am completely shocked at how someone runs a business like this. He could have just stopped us at the door and said they were closed- that would've left a better impression. I understand advertisement mistakes happen...but this was not the case. SMH. read more

Stay away from this place. My family and I decided to go here for lunch and the service was horrible. I asked for juice and was told they don't service juice and yes this is a big deal if you don't drink soda. So I asked for Fanta and got Sunkist. I told the waiter this is not what I ordered and he said they don't have Fanta even though this is on the menu. So my spouse went to the Asian store next door to get our drinks and we sent the soda back to the kitchen. We attempted to place our order and our first two choices were not available. We should of left right then and there. Cold food and poor service. Don't waste your time. read more
