Tried this place this weekend after seeing it plastered on the internet with influencers. We stopped by for lunch, and were surprised that the lunch menu costs the SAME as the dinner menu! What a rip off. $43 per person for the option B LUNCH. The bonchon sides are all self serve, and lacking variety. The appetizers are also self serve- and are cold to the touch (Korean fried chicken, wontons, eggrolls). All this self serve bs- and still the lowest tip option on the machine is 20%, so the total price per person with tax and tip was $53 with no drink. LA galbi meat is limited one per person, and was tougher than usual, lacking intense flavor. There are 11, yes ELEVEN giant TVs blasting female K pop music videos so it is hard to have conversations with friends while dining. Save yourself the disappointment and go to a REAL KBBQ place like Seoul KBBQ rather than this place. read more

After one of us started feeling ill while our food was cooking (not at all related to tue establishment) we asked for take out containers so that we could take it back to the hotel. The reason I am giving this place a 1 star is because of the service. We came at 6 already expecting to wait, but was pleasantly surprised when the lady in front said they would seat us as soon as the table was cleaned and to give her 5 minutes. At this time, nobody at the restaurant made an effort to clean the table. We were told to wait outside as is their policy. That was fine. At 6:27 pm, we finally got to our table. The grill was caked with burnt food and there were dirty, used cups and a pitcher of water on the table. At 6:39, a server came by with some side dishes and left again. She came back a bit later and we put in our order and asked for some forks for the kids. The Korean fried chicken wings came out first, which was delicious. Little did we know our experience was going to go downhill from here. We had asked several times for the grill to be changed, but it fell on deaf ears. When the meat finally came after 7pm, we decided to just start cooking it in the middle of the grill plate. The server didn't turn on the grill, so we had to figure it out which wasn't a big deal. But the meat started to get some of the black char left over on the grill, and that was not ok. We finally got up and said we need a new grill plate. At 7:29 the grill plate was finally changed. The meat at this time was inedible as so much of the burnt bits on the grill was covering the meat. We asked the server for new meat, and she brought meat we didn't initially order. When we told one of the servers, they shrugged and said they'd let our server know. We asked for rice for our kids, they said they ran out yet another server was bringing rice to the tables next to us and behind us. I have never heard of a Korean restaurant running out of rice. At this point, it's been over an hour since we arrived, over an hour after we were seated, and we only got chicken wings and the banchan. The other tables who sat after us got food, but we didn't. The kids were hungry, and we had nothing for them. Now, I understand that the restaurant is busy and fairly new. We were fine with that. However, when we'd been there for over an hour and only ate 3 pieces of chicken wings? That's unacceptable. We didn't make a fuss with the staff because we knew they were busy. But after being seated for over an hour and still not getting our food, we told the server we had to leave because we had to feed our children. She was understanding and we left. I don't think we'll be back here unfortunately unless the service changes drastically. We drove 30 minutes each way to come here and left disappointed and hungry. read more

Came here on a Sunday night around 7:30pm and told 45 min wait since it was so busy which was fine. We got sat after about 20 minutes which was great. Service was okay, it was prompt but things we ordered sometimes were forgotten about. I really enjoyed that we can get the crab wontons (although it seems like there was only cream cheese and no crab) and tteokbokki as sides. Sometimes the wontons came out cold as if they had been sitting out. They provided us with an assortment of banchan which was nice. A bit odd that the salad they give you is portioned for a single serving rather than the whole table. I liked that we got ice cream at the end too. We did enjoy that the restaurant plays K pop with lots of TVs for watching the music videos. Great food, ok service. We came here on a Saturday at 11:40am. There was only 1 guy working & he told us someone would come in 20 minutes so it was going to be a wait which we said was fine. At 12 someone came & served us and she was really nice. We ordered combo B. Everything we ordered was so good including the starters. The appetizers we got were gyoza, crab cheese wontons (there's no crab btw), spicy rice cake, fried rice & corn cheese. The meats we got were boneless short rip, beef bulgulgi, spicy pork bulgulgi, brisket, & spam. Everything was so good and flavorful EXCEPT the brisket. I was very disappointed because brisket is my favorite kbbq meat. It was thicker than usual & didn't taste like brisket usually does. Besides the brisket not tasting good, the service was also not that great because they kept forgetting almost everything we ordered. So we were too busy trying to remember what we ordered that we didn't try other things which we wish we did. We got there at 11:40 & didn't leave until 1:45. Two hours....... We came here a couple times and the service was slow but it was during their opening so we understood. We came back recently after a couple months and the service was bad. They dropped off water cups at our table and two of the cups were dirty so we asked for new ones. We received new ones but they were still dirty so we just left it. Then we wanted to order rice and rang the bell. No one came so we rang the bell several times over a period of time to get someone to come to our table. The restaurant wasn't busy and our entire section was empty. Still no one came so one of us went up to the counter to one of the other servers to ask for it. The server looked annoyed and rolled his eyes. Our friends were able to see his rude expression from where they were sitting. But coming here on a Friday night, the service is Terrible. The portions of meat is small as well. We literally sat on one round of meat and waited 20-30 minutes to get another round and our grill burned before we can get that round of meat. So don't come here on a busy night/day. First restaurant I have gone to that has rules. 1. Eat all your food, or you'll get charged for what you leave + they have no take home boxes 2. You have 1hr 30min to eat your food. No exceptions The staff are rude, and expect their customers to act like the rules are normal. Best KBBQ in Denver. I just finished reading Crying in H Mart today and I *needed* something Korean. I googled "Korean bbq near me" and found this place 8 minutes from my house. Turns out, it just opened! Went on a Saturday at 6:30, the wait was about 30 minutes. CON: their parking lot is a total bummer - we parked at the Mercado up the street and walked over. The bonchon, fried chicken, brisket, bulgogi and everything else was excellent. Our server, Nelson, and our bonus server, robot meat delivery kitten, were very accommodating and quick to deliver. K-pop music videos were on all of the TVs, the lighting was very cool and it wasn't too smokey inside. We will be back! read more

Rose is incredibly rude and inhospitable. I called to make a reservation and she starts getting really upset and telling me I'm not speaking loud enough. She told me that if I didn't start speaking louder, she was going to hang out. So then I started speaking as loud as I could and then she says I'm yelling at her and it's disrespectful. I don't know exactly what you expect people to do when your restaurant is what's loud. She couldn't hear me because she was an allowed restaurant. She needs to get a hold of her temper. read more

Yesss finally found a KBBQ that reminds me of San Diego places! Two all you can eat options, and yes lower price for kids. Kids loved the robot that brings hot food from the kitchen. The ambiance was okay if you're a die hard kpop fan while waiting for your side dishes to be served (which it took 25mins btw) the server was nice and sweet but most of time we were there staring at an empty grill because everything took so long. The other table which was a couple infront of us stand up and left mid service because their orders took so long. We didnt enjoy the AYCE because everything was just late. The portion was okay but when we ordered the tbone it was 1pc thin as a paper. The koba beef cut was tough even though we cook it nicely and it was as thin as a paper. The steamed egg we ordered came in the end of our dinner because they forgot about it and as well as the corn cheese. They were not even busy that night. As for the sides which was so little and only 4 kinds doesnt give the real korean bbq justice. The first Korean restaurant in the Chinatown stretch of Denver and boy they did not disappoint! This was such a great addition to Denver's growing food scene especially in the federal area. It's an AYCE Korean BBQ with A LOT of options to choose from. They have two versions of their AYCE a basic version and a premium version both very good options and won't disappoint. My favorite meats to get were the Galbi short ribs and the thick cut pork belly, they were high quality thick cut meats and cooks perfectly on their grills. They also had a great selection of appetizers including spicy rice cakes and steamed eggs. The only thing they were missing is the cheese corn!! I was so sad I didn't see it on the menu but it's okay they had plenty of other dishes that keep my mouth and eyes occupied. The service was great almost every server on our side checked in on us so you're never short of service, very good servers. The interior was clean newly remodeled and had upbeat vibes. They played great music while you enjoy KBBQ with friends and family and had large tables to accommodate large groups if needed. Their grills are much more modern than traditional KBBQ restaurants and of course non stick grills. Overall highly highly recommended for KBBQ lovers I promise it won't disappoint! Cheers! read more

I wanted to like this restaurant, I truly did. The waitlist is sort of average. I found the wait area was outside in the cold yet they had a decent-sized area under construction...sort of! We were seated and the waitress was nice but kinda goofy lol. The food was plentiful and decently seasoned. The one BIG OLE ELEPHANT in the room was the extremely LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS THE NOISE LEVELS WERE!! They have one huge flat screen TV, like HUGE, and countless smaller TVs that were blasting some football game, and the EXTRA loud gen-z's talking about who had the largest eyelashes LOL. Very good quality meat, decent variety, side dishes are pretty good, we like the small portions of each order, this way people can try more variety of meat. There were a couple of meats we wanted which was not available when we were there. Service was decent when we got there when they were not as busy, once the place got packed, service was a little slow, I understood that different servers got different tables, with that many servers there, they should be more attentive to help one another, that didn't seem to be the case; when ringing the bell for service, they just looked at our table and walked straight passing us many times. Just a pointer to the owner, y'all should have servers to help new customers who have never been to an AYCE Koran BBQ joint with how to cut and grill their meat at least for a plate of two, so they could get a good idea; there was a couple there not far from our table, they came in and kept on watching my son and I to see how we eat and grill the meat we got, I had to try to explain to them how everything worked. Terrible experience, don't come to this place after 10:40pm, even if website says it closes at 12, the staff are in a hurry to get off work, no one takes care of us, the kitchen seems to close at 11pm, then Why is it still saying on the website that it is open until 12 o'clock? The food we ordered for two was only enough for one girl, and no one came to ask us, and our additional order was unsuccessful. (Even though there were waiters serving food to other tables) I felt treated differently. I hope the boss can see it and reflect on why this happened? I've never had such a stressful experience eating out. In this restaurant you'll get charged $10 for not finishing your food!! Per dish. It's "all you can eat" but with caveats. You'll get punished for not finishing your food- so comical yet an expensive "comical" fare ( for a few small plates of not so tasty). $35 for menu A or &45 or so for menu B- which you can combine with Manu A - we orders bulgogi- a marinated Korean style meat( the flavor was ok but the meat had a lot of grizzle) chicken (not so good), a couple of veggies, for appetizer - spicy rice cake- thumbs down for this dish, and corn with cheese this was ok. A soup- thumbs down there too, and shrimp. We also had to cook all the meats ourselves, and you have a total time of 120 minutes to finish your food (which is 2 hrs- sometimes if we are with friends we might be there longer than two hours) this includes cooking your food- so if you have food after the two hours they will charge you - thinking the $10/ plate- and we can't take anything home either. The fare is not a buffet- where you can more or less measure how much you would like to try etc- this is servers bringing the dishes to you.- so if you don't like something- too bad you're paying for it. We would have liked to try other things but- were afraid to order more as we would be charged for not finishing a piece of meat. Or not liking it at all. The bill for two of us was $80plus with tip- really should have been $50 or so for the amount we had. Service was mediocre- the servers were hard to understand- Gave away money- Will never return nor recommend to anyone. read more

We have been here several times since it opened. Went again last night. Unfortunately it has been steadily going down hill. The first few times everything was delicious. That is not the case any more. Obviously the cooks making the food has changed. It's as if amateur cooks are trying to copy what the food use to taste like. The meat is now just ok. The banchan (side dishes) are awful. The kimchi jiggae and steamed egg were terrible. One of the servers told us that they were going to add a hot pot. They need to go back to making their food the way it was . Even the rice is disgusting. It's so dry. It's as if barely any water was used to cook it! The service is still good. But the food is not.
