They had a high rating on Yelp. We scheduled the move for a week day in 3 weeks . They sent over two men and a truck and they loaded all my furniture carefully. Marvin and Juan did a very good job. Their office told me to be as organized as possible and that would make the move go quickly. The price fell within the range that we discussed earlier. Sam called me back as soon as I had filled out a short questionnaire and had two incredibly competent movers at my door within the hour. Deceived, Shocked, Ripped Off, Harassed The salesman was Sam, he seemed professional. The opposite was true of the moving crew. When they arrived, I was shocked, rental truck, sloppy appearance, scary. Everything was prepared, organized. A small move. It has been our experience this move, with a two-man crew, should have taken three hours max including travel. About 500.00. Should have been a snap. The foreman, Branden, complained how tired he was, he wasn't a mover, just doing this because he had some 'bills' to pay off. When the horrification of this move ended, we were charged 6.5 hours...973.00, twice what we expected. They destroyed our bed. I emailed Sam the next morning, outlining all these problems, but it quickly became apparent Sam wasn't going to do anything about it. His professionalism was an act. Later, I received harassment calls from Sam and Branden. I have turned the matter over to the California Department of Consumer Protection. read more
