    Black garlic ramen
    Allen K.

Came right before lunch hour and it was completely empty, but had orders coming in and out for online orders. Service was fast and we got our meals fairly quickly. The ramen was okay, I think the broth was a little watery. The sushi was good, but you don't get a big to portion.

We stopped in for a quick bite this weekend. Service was great! Food was great! It was not too busy but there were some folks at the bar area and a few tables. We ordered the sesame chicken bento box with tempura. It was cooked perfectly and hit the spot. It comes with gyoza and salad, rice and potato pancake in addition to the sesame chicken. We also ordered the house special roll with spicy tuna and shrimp tempura. Both were fantastic and we will definitely be back to try and few more rolls and some ramen.

I enjoyed everything. I also the tempura jalapeños! It was nice and quaint atmosphere. I will definitely return.

Saw the new menu posted by somebody with ramen listed and wanted to try food from new menu. Thought of ramen, but was not in the mood for it. Instead got the classics Caterpillar Roll and Spider Roll. Also got agedashi tofu. Service was good and food came out right away, not a long wait. Already know they have a different version of the Caterpillar Roll, but still wanted to try it. Typically, it has crab mix and unagi/eel or tempura shrimp inside. Theirs has tempura shrimp and cream cheese. For me, it was an odd combo. The tanginess of the cream cheese and how much they put overpowers the other flavors of the roll. The unagi on top was crispy compared to some I've had before that are soft and chewy at the same time. The Spider Roll was better, but again the soft shell crab inside was super crispy and missed the softness of the crab meat part in middle of crab. The agedashi tofu lacked salt and maybe some pepper. Had to dip in soy sauce. Ate everything. Don't like wasting food. For the price, had better quality food at other places with same price point. Will not come back for the rolls. Will come back to try ramen or donburi. Spacious and clean. Thank you. All the best!!

Crack fries. NOT on the menu and you need these in your life ASAP.

It is amusing how many people complain about the customer service here knowing the owner and staff for a while. Finally submitting this to give a pro tip - order the CRACK FRIES. Thank me later. Do NOT take NO for an answer.

Lots of parking. Good service. Food was edible, but not great. The bento box was a hit but could have passed on the sushi rolls. This was our first time here and will most likely be our last.

Surprisingly good! [Natomas Sacramento CA] We ended up dining here because our first two choices were closed. It was our first time here. The restaurant wasn't busy around dinner time and our party of three were immediately led to a table. Our server was quick and attentive and he took our orders without writing them down... and when we got our food everything was accurate. But then again it shouldn't be difficult to remember one order of chicken teriyaki bento and two beef teriyaki bento. The servings were generous. I had one of the beef teriyakis and it also came with 3 pieces of gyoza, croquette and choice of California roll or vegetable tempura in which I chose the latter. Can't complain. I was so full. The prices were fair. ... a croquette, though? That's the first time I've seen one served in a bento box. Isn't that a French food? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Review #3072

Excellent fast service , we were seated and attended right away . All sushi was very fresh very tasty . We also had a spicy ramen , only I didn't get a picture but that was really good too. Chill vibes , favorite spot for when craving sushi and ramen !

I loved it! Provided, I went on a Monday around 2pm. It was quiet and the service was awesome! The food came quickly and when I couldn't decide on a second roll or not, they helped me decide on a hand roll (a perfect middle). I like this place. I'll for sure be back! :)

The service was exceptional, and the restaurant itself was immaculate. The quality of the sushi was excellent, and as someone who doesn't typically eat sushi, this experience far exceeded my expectations.

Comfortable lighting and environment, friendly staff, food is fresh and comes out quickly.

The sushi was okay. I was craving sushi and I knew the best place to curb my craving was California. I found this place near my hotel and decided to try it out since it had decent reviews. I ordered the Mt Fuji and Crunch Roll. When I walked in they took my ordered right away. The restaurant was completely empty except for like 2-3 other people. The gentleman that took my order was super friendly and when I asked if he could bring me a cup of ice water to go, and I mentioned that I was going to use it to fill up my water bottle, he offered to fill up my water bottle for me. The sushi is not as aesthetically pleasing as I believe it would've been had I had ordered in the restaurant because I walked back to my hotel. But my deep fried rolls were still piping hot. The Fuji roll had fried chicken in it and it was crispy and flavorful a solid 9/10 I would order it again. The Crunch Roll was odd because it was "deep fried" and supposed to have a crunch yet there was none. I tried to crack it up to the fact that I had walked back to my hotel and it probably got soggy on the way. But for one the other roll was still crisp and two it should not have softened that quick. Also the mixture inside wasn't all that pleasing, it was too much of the crab and creamy cheese mixture, personally too much creaminess for me. I would rate that one a 2/10. I think they have decent sushi and would recommend the roll with the fried chicken it's different and yummy.

Do they have any rolls made with-/or/ the option to replace white rice with- BROWN RICE?

There is no brown rice. But can substitute cucumber for a wrap instead of rice.

Upscale sushi sounded great with how it it was this week. I had no memory of the quality or anything and wow I was just floored. We ordered 4 rolls and some sashimi and the scallop croquettes and everything was just divine. My only regret was that we couldn't actually eat more in one sitting. The Thai Telegraph Roll and the Firecracker were favorites with the added sauces. We also ordered the Sunshie and Spicy B, everything was a real compendium of flavor. Our friends said that the Thai Telegraph roll was surprisingly refreshing, and it was! The service was also great, they kept menus at the table so we could add more to our order if we wanted, and our pace was pretty slow since we were visiting with friends and the server checked in on us just enough. Bathrooms were super clean, it wasn't too loud to have a conversation and not freezing cold inside. It was a packed house too! We couldn't believe how full the reservations were for a Wednesday night. Next time we go, which I hope is this year.. i'd like to get a few more warm dishes and less rolls to try out. I'm really glad we chose this place and while it's definitely in that "special occasion" budget for us, i'd like to go back at least 1 more time, and not wait 10 years.

We arrived for dinner on a Saturday and were seated promptly but the restaurant filled up quickly. Service was great even with a full house and constant stream of delivery orders. I would hope your fish was good. To be fair...she was right their fish was good. When I go to spots like this I'll usually take the recommendation from the server even if it doesn't sound good. everything she pointed out though I was happy with. my only complaint I would say is that I cant stand it when restaurants use canned soda. Waitress was great and when I did tell her I needed to leave shortly after my meal was delivered, she closed me out promptly, so I appreciated that. She was also very pretty too, so naturally, I liked her. I am a sucker for good looking people haha. I didnt want to think too hard so I ordered the grilled saba (mackerel) lunch plate.
