Terrible Terrible Service!!!! I wish I could give no stars. I placed an order online for my mom and sister for almost $60 worth of food and received the wrong order. I called to inform them of the mistake and a worker answered the phone and then quickly laid it down without asking me to hold. I waited 10 minutes and she never returned. I called back 5 more times until I reached them again. It was the same lady that answered before. She had the worst attitude. She Never asked me what my order should have been or anything. Before hanging up in my face, the rude lady said she had other customers and never asked my number to even call me back. I don't have a problem supporting new or established restaurants but customer service should match the food quality and amount I am spending. If I wanted less that decent service, I would have opted to have fast food. I love this place however last night I was very disappointed because of the delivery driver! He was extremely rude and the would not give me my food until I tipped him! I let it go because I was hungry and happy he finally left. Then today I received a call from Kong's saying they overcharged me and needed to refund my money. Somehow they over charged me by $100 but they admitted their mistake and are in the process of fixing it. I decided to take this time to mention to the woman the horrible experience I had with the driver and she was furious. I ordered Kong's tonight for dinner, and the whole experience from delivery to food quality was not good, and not worth the money or inconvenience. My order included sesame chicken, which was cold and mushy because it was likely sitting on the counter for some time prior to being delivered. The shrimp fried rice was also cold, and flavorless, and included a pound of pepper on top. I'm not sure if the pepper was intended to add flavor or to just add the heat to the extremely cold food. Kong's kitchen is a new Chinese carry out . The order taker was very polite on the phone. My wife and I ordered a sweet n sour shrimp dinner combo which came with corn soup which I was able to choose, egg roll, and white rice . We also ordered a beef egg foo young and garlic chicken. The foo young is very good, filled with lots of meat and bean sprouts. The gravy on the other hand is a thin brown sauce not thick brown gravy as we are more accustomed too. I would rather have gravy but it still tasted good.The garlic chicken was fresh and sauce was not too thick . Sweet n sour shrimp had a good amount of shrimp but we had to reheat it in the oven since the batter did not travel well. The shrimp did not have too much batter and had a few green peppers sprinkled in too. All food did taste healthier than regular Chinese take- out , so it would not be my go-to if I really wanted greasy Chinese food !! Overall I have to give five stars since they did everything well and I have no glaring complaints . Lastly the delivery girl was super polite and even called when she arrived at our apartment !
