I stopped at Korean Garden after a long hike, and it was such a great choice! Even though I was dining solo, I was welcomed with smiles and outstanding service from the moment I walked in. The hot pot bulgogi was packed with flavor and brought back memories of Seoul, and the soju was a sweet first for me--absolutely loved it. Shanna, my server, was attentive and explained how to enjoy the dishes Korean style, which made the experience even better. Ambiance was inviting, music was just right, and presentation was 5-star. Dining alone never felt awkward here--I left happy, full, and eager to return. Highly recommend!

Finally tried the new Korean Garden since they changed ownership in March. Should have come sooner, it's amazing. I had the Makguksu, which is similar to nengmyun but with soba noodles. This is the closest I've has since I had the best bowl in Korea. But that restaurant only made Makguksu and was famous for it. This was the best since then! Only 14.99, and veggie friendly. I also tried the cheese donkatsu which was awesome. The Filet mignon bbq and the Eel bbq were both excellent. My favorite part of the meal? Funny enough, the banchan. They have this kimchi called "Gutjuri" which is ripped by hand, not cut with a knife, so you get shreds of cabbage and it's usually not as fermented. Made right, it's my favorite kimchi, and they hit it out of the ballpark! My new favorite Korean restaurant!

I've driven by here so many times but never stopped in. Tonight my mother saw a giant banner that said "30% off dinner, including Korean BBQ" and so we decided to head over. They're in the process of upgrading some of their grill tech, so we got a table that was not set for tabletop grilling. No problem, I have been beat from working all week. We got the combination C for the three of us, which was 3 different kinds of meat, including the Cadillac of KBBQ, marinated short rib. The side dishes are plentiful, they'll refill you when you need it or ask for it. We got a soy bean soup with our meal, big enough for us to all have a small bowl. Kimchi fried rice also delivered with the meat so that we could really get stuffed. Service here was great! Good tasty food and with the deal, not too bad! Support small businesses!

I just tried this place and I would definitely recommend it. We got the Combo E for the 4 of us and it was really filling. One of my favorite was the short rib. The sides were really good especially the kimchi. We also got Ddubboki with was okay in my opinion I probably wouldn't get it again. The prices are pretty on par I would say maybe a little higher than usual. The service was great they were really patient and even cooked our meats for us. They also were kind enough to let us take our time even though they were closing. The atmosphere is really nice the tables have tons of space. I would definitely come again. Would recommend for groups.

More like 3.5/5 stars but I rounding up to 4 because I know this opened not long ago. If you're looking for a solid, traditional Korean restaurant in Suwanee that isn't all-you-can-eat BBQ, Korea Garden is a great option. They offer a full menu covering a wide variety of Korean staples -- everything from soondubu to daegu tang (codfish soup), wide mouth bass soup, potato soup, and various cuts of beef and pork. What really sets Korea House apart is the banchan. They're delicious, plentiful, and yes -- they do refill them! Honestly, the banchan alone is worth coming for; it's probably the best part of the meal. This was the highlight of the restaurant I actually would come back for banchan but I docked off 1.5 stars because the two soups (main entrees) were disappointing Another plus is the service button on the table, which alerts the waitstaff when you need anything -- super convenient and responsive. Price-wise, it's right in line with other Korean spots in the area -- not overly pricey but not cheap eats either. You're paying a bit more than Duluth because this area is in the wealthiest part of Gwinnett. I had the seafood soondubu and it came out mildly hot with a rich, fermented flavor -- a strong fish sauce like the taste I had in yeh tuh down in doraville smell that might be bold for some. Personally, I'm used to the cleaner gochuhang powder flavor from spots like BCD Tofu House or Sogongdong, so this was a little different -- more rustic, more traditional. I also have a feeling my soup was reheated and not fresh. This is why I docked 2 stars. I have consumed over 100+ bowls of seafood soondubu to tell what the standard should be. My girlfriend had the kimchi soondubu and I gave her a heads-up beforehand I knew she won't slurp it up like sogongdong or jang su jang.the kimchi stews are usually made with well-fermented, even sour kimchi -- definitely more pungent than the fresher stuff served as banchan. She agreed it was intense but flavorful. The server asked did she like it all, and she said yes it's good. Overall, if you're craving an authentic Korean sit-down meal with standout banchan and a wide menu selection, Korea House is absolutely worth trying. Just be ready for the bold, home-style flavors!

Incredible! Gourmet! And AMAZING panchan! Literally some of the best Korean food I've ever experienced even after being married to a Korean woman for 31 years and visiting Korean restaurants all around the world! Love the friendly staff and contemporary vibe too!

The food was delicious and lots of selections on the menu to choose from. I ordered the seafood spicy soup with noodles. It was so yummy but not spicy enough. Glad they brought out some spicy sauce. The dish was tasty and full of flavor. My husband ordered the Hot Pot Bimbimbap. That was flavorful but a little crusty at the bottom which we were told but my husband wanted to try it. The seaweed soup that came with it was delicious. Service was impeccable all around. Our server Arry was very attentive and kept making sure our needs were taken care of and also that we were enjoying our meal. We would definitely return to this place to try the other dishes. Finally, the restaurant was cozy and there was not many customers. I highly recommend this place for good Korean food and hospitality.

Parking is available right by the restaurant. We went for their lunch special. It was very busy when we arrived, but luckily we were seated right away by the bar. They have a full bar, but kinda pricey. We were offered hot barley tea upon sitting down. There is a good range of options on their lunch special ranging between $10-$15 in price. The eel one seemed very popular! Spicy beef stew: very flavored and good amount of heat. There isn't a lot of meat but it was the good quality of meat. Short rib and cabbage soup: nice flavoring, light enough to drink it all! The meat was tender. A bit hard to get off on certain areas though. The side dishes were all delicious! I loved how fresh the kimchi was. Was kind of funny that each of our soup entrees also came with a cabbage soup as a side too. Both came with the hot rice (be careful and don't put your spoon or chopsticks on it. It does get pretty hot in the beginning). Overall really enjoyed it and will be back to try more!

This review is solely about their entrees for lunch, not the meat or bbq. FOOD: Potato Jeon ($10) - Had a huge craving for this and was thoroughly satisfied. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I love that they don't blend their potato mix down so that the pancake (Jeon) has texture. Ricecake & Mandoo Soup ($16) - They make their own dumplings (Mandoo) so loved that the dumpling skin was not too thick. The beef bone broth is amazing, so rich in flavor, but a smidge too over seasoned. Bean Paste Stew ($15) - This was good as well, but nothing really stood out other than that they give you a bit more meat. SERVICE: The menu is on a tablet or you can scan a QR code and view it on your phone. The owners, I believe, were very friendly and attentive. Overall, the taste and quality is good, but still very overpriced for just entrees. It's a bummer they don't do lunch specials for a bit discounted prices. I would recommend going if you were going for the BBQ and get additional entrees from there.

Ok, so the price is a little on the high side If you choose to do bbq, but the quality of the meat we recieved was excellent and worth it. I've been to so many different Korean bbq restaurants in Ga and California and I would say it is def. Top 3 when it comes to the quality of the meat. Customer service was good, but I wish the waiter was a little more interactive with us. The waiter was really good at keeping up with our needs and cooking the meat though. First time coming here with a friend on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't very busy and they have plenty of parking. The food was pretty decent for its price and fried chicken was so crunchy!! Our new favorite spot. I have been here twice now and both times have impressed me! The cold buckwheat noodles are perfectly refreshing. The handmade mandoo is the perfect texture. Sleek modern decor but still welcoming my family of four (2 daughters under 10). We only went a couple times at lunch and haven't tried much of the meat but the sliders app is excellent! We like that they have some variety on the menu and tried the KFC Korean Fried Chicken (crispy yummy!), cheesesteak Bulgogi Sandwich (ok), naengmyun (a little sweet), and seollungtang (good!) They keep their sleek design by using convection heat in the tables to cook... pretty cool. Usually you would order alcohol with 'anjoo' but we haven't tried that yet either. read more

This trendy new Korean BBQ place is not bad. They are different from the other kbbq places in town in that they serve Hereford beef, and the only pork is the smoked pork belly. Besides bbq, there is also a good selection of entrees and snacks. While the prices are more or less in line with the other kbbq places, I wish the portions were bigger. But, the beef tartare (yukhoe) is one of the best I've had. read more

Anjoo is a high-end Korean BBQ joint that JUST opened up, and I've been meaning to try, so I decided to check it out! The interior is very classy and very modern and it definitely doesn't have that typical Korean BBQ smell that you would leave with embedded in your clothes. They use an induction-style grill instead of charcoal not only because they don't want that charcoal smell, but it also speeds up the entire cooking process MUCH FASTER! The prices were honestly slightly pricy, but the meats were pretty good and if you have it with a side of rice, you will get your meal's worth! The meat was perfectly cooked and because they use an induction, the juices of the meat don't escape so you're able to enjoy every bit of that juicy meat. Customer service was excellent and it seems that it will do very well. It's targeted towards the foreign customer base, but as a native Korean, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Will I be able to come every day? Realistically, no because it's pretty pricy--but I think it's a good restaurant to come if you want to be boujee but still want Korean cuisine :) read more

This place is amazing! We showed up early on soft opening day and they graciously sat and served us. We had the kimchi pancake and pork belly. The induction grill is awesome...none of the smoke or charcoal of a traditional grill. The staff were all welcoming and informative. We didn't get to try any soju or wine on this visit but I'm excited to go back and indulge. read more

So good! We set a reservation on soft opening and were seated right away. They were covid cautious (which we appreciate) and took our temperatures upon arrival. We started with the potato jeon, and it was amazing super crunchy and came with a ponzu type of dipping sauce. We ordered the Naengmyeon and it blew our expectations, I highly recommend. Very Bad customer service. They started taking plates away in a rush while we were still trying to enjoy our desert. There was one waitress that was applying lip stick while we asked multiple times for our drinks and she kept forgetting. She was very unfriendly and made our experience unforgettably bad. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. It was our first time here on a Satueday night and it was busy. Quoted us a 15-20 min wait. Ended up being 45 but sat at the bar and had drinks. Once seated, we were served a small sampler dish of house made potato salad, pickled jalapeños, cucumbers and kimchi. All very good. Ordered the sweet & spicy fried chicken and anjoo sliders. Both phenomenal. Shared the beef paste stew for an entree. So, so good!!! The owners were so attentive and super nice. Overall, we loved our first experience here and not only will we be back, but will recommend it to all our friends. read more

Delicious food, clean facility, excellent service, really nice ambience! We went to dinner with our two kids and a couple of their friends and everyone enjoyed their meal. We will definitely go back and I've recommended this spot to others. I've had quite a few KBBQ in the past and really enjoyed this one. I really don't see what all the hype is because I came to this place late one night to enjoy their well reviewed cuisine and it was terrible..... As a matter fact, I got my food to go and ate it in the parking lot and immediately threw it out! The only thing I could think, is that they must have their friends giving this place a high rating. The meat is simple and quality, cooked on an induction burner. Your clothes won't smell smoky which is a plus. I was afraid that without charcoal or wood the flavor of the meat would suffer, but it doesn't really need anything. You are provided with three condiments: flaky salt, horseradish, and ssamjang sauce. They're complementary and not overpowering. I also really appreciate their liquor selection. It's one of the few places you can get premium soju. Service is super friendly and the restaurant is clean and tastefully designed. The only con is that I live too far away to be a regular customer! read more

Everything here was amazing! The place looks so nice on the outside and inside. Food was really good since it's premium and the tapas were good as well. Went there for lunch. Modern, clean, friendly. Had Soybean paste soup (A Korean staple) and it was hot, hearty, and enjoyed it. Had Pork Donkatsu cutlet and it was a huge portion, crispy, light, and great dipping sauce. Super friendly server, good experience. A great KBBQ experience. The quality of meat was fantastic and the service was outstanding. For two people, we ordered two meats and two appetizers. I ate the bacon, which improved my salmon Benedict. But neither the croissant nor bacon felt like $5. Kids meal is now the cost of a regular. So I recommend if you dont want any substitutions, try this place. I wont be coming back. It really irks me that you cant just put bread instead of bacon on a kids meal. You aren't a robot, and you are not busy. You are also not getting me as a patron anymore. P.S. the Croissant alone was not worth $5. I rate it a 3 out of 5 on its own.

Must try! Anjoo is a brand new Korean BBQ restaurant located in Suwannee. Anjoo not only has high quality proteins on their menu, but they also have a large amount of Tappas to go along with your meal. They also have traditional Korean entrees such as Naengmyun, my favorite! Interior - Modern and aesthetic. It looks amazing inside with a minimalist ambiance. Everything is clean and designed well to accommodate with Covid-19 seating. Very clean restaurant interior. Cleanliness - As a new restaurant, everything is clean and I saw the staff maintaining Covid recommendations. Staff wore masks and cleaned during downtime. Food - Most importantly, the food was incredible. I came with a group of 3 total and we ordered Combo D. The meat was very high quality and cooked incredibly well on the grill. The side dishes were fresh and had a great seasoning to them. The grills Anjoo has is something I haven't seen before and work incredibly well. The meats get an amazing char to them and cook very fast. Service - I eat Korean BBQ at least 3 times a week, and besides high quality food, great customer service is most important to me. Staff was well trained a week into soft opening. Staff works well together and genuinely work hard.
