It was my boyfriend and I's first time here and as soon as we walked in the door we were warmly greeted by KeKe. She answered all of our questions about the menu and even recommended some great seasoning for the crab we ordered. The quantity ANDquality of the food we got was MORE than satisfying. Great prices. Awesome little tucked away gem! Very chill, great food, great service. Staff was so kind, checked in regularly, and the chef came to our table, too. We had a boil (of course). Portion was massive! Spicy plus lemon pepper was yummy and not greasy. The potatoes oh my gosh. My fiancé also had the hypnotic daiquiri, and it was bomb. Patio had a nice breeze, and we had a lovely view of the sunset. WOW!!!!! Come to FTW regularly on business and stay in the Stockyards. If you want Crabs, shrimp and awesome service there is NOTHING in the Stockyards that comes close. So glad I drove 15 minutes to get AWESOME crabs. Met Sid one of the partners. He and the staff run a tight ship. Since I am NOT from FTW I have not experienced the food truck. Several of the folks dining this evening were regulars at the food truck and are not regulars at the restaurant. Can't wait until the next time I am in town on Thursday night for the all you eat special. Crabs were soooooo good as well as the potato and corn. The garlic butter crab legs are fantastic. They have a great taste and to me were finger licking good. They also have new potatoes, a sausage and corn on the cob to go with it. The potatoes I absolutely loved with the garlic flavor and crab taste. It came with egg and sausage. Now I have never tasted better shrimp. It was truly perfect. The shrimp was delicious. I have not had anything like it. We also had the waffle shrimp which was interested. I did eat it with the syrup. It was okay but only wanted to try it. I wouldn't order it again. The crawfish empanada was pretty good. Lot of flavor. I could see myself ordering it again. The catfish was okay, but they are not the fry king. I would not order the fries again. I did like the hush puppies. They had an interesting texture but they were good. All in all it is a place I will go again and recommend. This one is a struggle. I am not quick to give poor reviews but I have to be honest so they businesses have an opportunity to improve. Plus I voiced my disappointment with the staff and they dismissed me so here we go. I arrived at 6:35 to meet a couple of friends for a social distancing gathering. Haven't seen them in a long time due to COVID so I was excited. My friend arrived 15 mins before me. I walked in and the cashier was just leaning against the wall so I stood at the register and finally asked if she was the cashier. She was like yep. Okay. It's probably been a long day. I placed my order. The shrimp loaded fries and a small crab platter. She said it would be 30 mins. Okay, great I'll go and talk with my friend while we wait. We waited 30 mins. Her daughter checked on her food and hers was ready after 40 mins of my wait. We say our goodbyes. I just know my food is coming up. My girlfriend made it home, used the bathroom, and ate and yep, I was still waiting. Another friend was in the area so I sat talking to him for another 45 mins. During this time I asked for an eta and they kept talking. Finally I got back and asked if maybe they misplaced my order. The lady said we told you yours is waiting the crab. So my fries is this styrofoam container sitting on the table for the last 20 mins. Oh but wait it gets better. She calls back to the kitchen like where is my small crab. The guy in the back, we gave it to you already. Are you serious? I cannot believe this now. Yes, I am just now getting annoyed because everyone that has come in after me, ordered really large orders, they are gone. Yet I still wait. So she asked him if he would make me a new one. Finally she says your order is ready can you check it. This is after she's opened and examined it with no gloves on. So I check it and I ask how are these fries going to reheat because they've been sitting on the table for 50 minutes now. They'll be fine she says sorry for the wait. Sorry for the wait? I have now been in this place standing here for 1 hours and 45 minutes and sorry for your wait is what you say. Sigh. So I drive 20 mins home. Of course the fries are awful. No here me, The flavor is amazing. But they are completely soggy where the sauce is and dry and cold along the edges. The shrimp also has tails on which doesn't make much sense to me. The crab platter was great. Since it was made last it was still nice and hot. Unfortunately I couldn't really eat it because my appetite was surprised from waiting so long. So to sum this up the food is not bad. The service really needs some work. I'm hoping this was an off day. read more

We reluctantly ate the little food we got with so much disdain it wasn't even satisfying. Our one splurge Sunday dinner date at home fell apart My girlfriend never leaves the house for food and she looked forward to another great experience only to be disappointed and angry. We've spent over 1k in this place over the last 2 months only to be hung up on when she called to inform them the order was not correct. Sadly we have to find another spot and not support another locally owned business due to horrible customer service.
