The food itself was good but not nearly what was expected in relation to its hype, something that feels a bit common in Austin. We ordered a carnitas super burrito and a cheese quesadilla. The super burrito came with the wrong meat, instead coming with chicken that had a bit of a dry and burnt flavor in it. Luckily that was masked by the rest of the burrito which did taste pretty good. The tortilla itself was soft but with a little bit of crisp to it that gave it a nice bite. Unfortunately, the cheese quesadilla was a miss. The tortilla on it was burnt and very crispy, which some may like, but is definitely not our preference. For what it's worth, maybe this is just a style of Mexican food we don't prefer but either way if you fall in line with that kind of flavor profile then maybe have a bit more realistic expectations coming into this place.
