OK, maybe that's an exaggeration, but, the New Jersey location was super convenient so she has been a fan for a very long time. We now live in a great state of Texas so we come here to the Fort Worth location. She of course had a wonderful Apple pancake and it was absolutely outstandingly delicious. No different than it ever was. I had the farmhouse breakfast with two eggs over easy bacon and three pancakes. It was delicious, but I'm still going to eat some of my wife's pancake. One of the outstanding parts of this original pancake House is the fresh squeezed orange juice with the pulp. Extra extra delicious. Our waitress was super nice and even made sure that the both of our breakfast came out at the same time. And if you've ever ordered an apple pancake, you know those aren't the quickest things on the menu....... AnyWho, well done, original pancake house, we will be back

I've been coming to yolk for over 4 years on and off and loved brunch at all times of day. Within…read morethe last few years, they've changed their menu in my opinion for the worse. I'm not sure if they just changed suppliers or not but things have gotten smaller / worse quality while the price has gone up for what arguably is standard breakfast fare. Case in point: the Chicken or Egg Sandwich. Used to be my go to, but after having it recently again after not coming for quite some time it was a disappointment. The chicken cutlet used was thin compared to the thick fried version it had before, everything was a bit beige, and a rather small serving of hash browns accompanied it. I had a standard black coffee alongside it which tasted a bit watered down and my partner has commented that the speciality coffees are not as good as they used to be. Other new additions to the menu aren't exactly what you would expect, for example the Monte Cristo is more a deconstructed version of the Bennigan's classic but it's not obvious unless your waiter tells you. The price is typical of downtown but the food doesn't rise to the occasion and the value proposition for me isn't enough to come back unless something changes. Thats not to say the food is all bad, but seeing what it was prior to their menu change, it's just uninspiring for the price. The service however has remained top tier and every time I have gone I've had fantastic service regardless of if it's a Sunday morning with a hour long wait or a quiet weekday lunch.

We happened to be in the Hulen area when we remembered The Original Pancake House nearby. It had been on our "we really should try that place" list for a while, so we finally decided to stop in. The restaurant was buzzing--no surprise, it was prime breakfast time--but we were seated right away. Our server, Cierra, greeted us with a bright smile and asked if it was our first visit. When we told her it was, she happily pointed out her favorite dishes on the menu. With so many tempting options, I found myself completely torn on what to order. While we debated, we ordered coffee and juice. When Cierra brought out the coffee, I immediately fell in love with the custom mugs featuring the restaurant's name. My wife rolled her eyes--because of course I'd find another mug I "needed" for my collection. I asked about them, and Cierra confirmed they were for sale and offered to bring a selection to the table. My wife just shook her head in resignation. She ordered the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes--fluffy pancakes swirled with rich cinnamon and topped with a smooth, sweet glaze. They sounded decadent. I went with a classic breakfast: bacon, over-easy eggs, and a stack of three of their famous pancakes. It was tough passing up Eggs Benedict or a Dutch Baby, two of my favorites, but I figured I'd save those for next time. The place was lively, with servers hustling back and forth, totally focused. Cierra returned with about six different mugs for us to look at, each a different color. And by the way--the coffee? Fantastic. The mugs are smaller than what you see in many restaurants, maybe around 10 ounces, but the servers keep them filled constantly. They also offer a full lineup of specialty coffees if you're in the mood for something fancy. Our breakfast arrived piping hot, delivered with Cierra's attentive care. Both plates looked picture-perfect. My wife dove into her Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and smiled after the first bite--she was in heaven. My bacon-and-eggs breakfast was spot-on, and the over-easy eggs were cooked exactly right. And the pancakes... honestly, some of the best I've ever had. Throughout the meal, Cierra was friendly, attentive, and just a joy to have as our server. We'll definitely be back soon to explore more of the menu. And who knows--we might even stop in for lunch one of these days.

Let me emphasize I work in customer service so respecting service workers is important to me. I got the new bagel sandwich which some entails an everything bagel shaved ham or pork belly, egg and cheese. I asked the waiter to sub the pork belly for bacon, and she said that was fine. What I received was a pork belly, egg and cheese on a plain bagel. I didn't even make a big deal out of it my husband offered to swap his bacon he got with his meal with my pork belly. I asked the waitress if they had everything bagels back there she said she would ask and I also pointed out the fact that they don't put regular bacon. She said you asked for pork belly, I said I did not, and my husband reaffirmed the statement saying I did ask for regular bacon. I watch our waiter go back to the kitchen and yell at the kitchen staff, then went to the register and started talking about I had an attitude with her. When I never had an attitude or raised my voice but that was the moment I asked for her manager. We can all have thoughts at work even if skewed but to say those thoughts out loud in front of the customers diabolical. My brother and I also both got tea, she brought me honey in a little container, when my brother asked for honey she said we could share.... So I share my experience to say. Come here if you want to eat, but if you want to impress family or just have a stress free breakfast results may vary. Hit up another location. If you do go we did ask for a new waitress her name was Courtney, very kind very professional. The manager did comp my meal for this experience and gave us a coupon for next visit. But my feelings stand.

Wait Time 5/5 We came during 2026 World Cup weekend at 11:00 on a Sunday -- peak business time -- and we waited only 10 minutes for a table of four. I was genuinely shocked we were seated so soon. Drinks were quick and always full, Food was prompt and hot. I truly do not have anything negative to say! Allergies 5/5 I'm allergic to a lot of things and they handled it so seriously. They flagged my order in their system and even used allergy picks on both the gluten free pancake and my best friend's gluten free grilled cheese so our dishes were clearly marked and kept separate from our husbands' food. Dysh (our amazing server) was very knowledgeable about their allergy policies and I felt like I was in great hands! Service! 5/5 Shout out to all the amazing staff who made me feel like family. Especially Dysh, who inspired our next vacation location and told us Snooze history! She never missed a beat the entire time we were there and truly made our Pro tip: ask your server about the merch. You won't be disappointed! Thank you for the vibes and we will 1000% be back!

Truly an experience found easily on W. Victory Blvd. in Fort Worth, the Swiss pastry shop is unique. There is something for everyone to be found here from cookies to amazing pies and cheesecake slathered with cherry topping. Helper chose cherry pop over. The pastry was not as normally expected flaky, it was a beautiful delicious bite, filled with cherry filling, nearly like a jelly filled doughnut. The greatest compliment I can pay a pastry shop is that I might go in for one bear claw and come out satisfied. Today we went in for oatmeal cookies and came out with two boxes because we couldn't decide which one we wanted more. I just see from the attached photos. We came out with two boxes one filled with cookies and one filled with pastries because one box was not going to be enough. We are not a family of eight, so we're going to have to fill ourselves up or find some really sweet friends to share with soon. You will not be disappointed, and we saw they also are offering coffee. We had ours brewing at home so we continued on our drive. Give them a try if you have not there are gluten-free options available as well. Last I forget, the service was exceptional worthy of 5+ stars and the ambience is smells as delicious as it looks, and lots of smiles all around, especially from the patrons

There are two interior dining areas and a few bistro type tables on the sidewalk in front. My husband comes here for their chicken fried steak and loves it. I decided that today I would get a BLT since I had seen a good review on it. They definitely didn't hold back on the bacon. It was crunchy which is the way I like it, but may not be for everyone. I just wish the lettuce and tomato was more proportioned to the bacon. After eating a few bites I had to open the sandwich to make sure there was tomato in it, and there was but it was a small thinly sliced portion. So, the sandwich was good but the B overpowered the L and T. Food came out promptly even though is was a busy lunch service. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
